Onlangs gemaakt boekwerk 👍

NEW / EVENT ____ Sneeuweieren / Snow-Eggs: the cookbook that doesn’t quite fit the genre and refers to much-needed uncertainty on an empty stomach.

The book presents seven dishes for different mental states. It’s a cookbook that harks back to alchemy. Because the imperative mood is so annoying and needs to be exploited. Because the world of the psyche has endless contents that all want to feel they’re being fed.

On Sunday February 13th Sneeuweieren / Snow-Eggs will be officially launched at .worm, 2-4 PM. Grab a drink and tune in online for this event!

Lieuwe Zelle (Radio WORM) will talk with Peggy Verzett (author), Paul Bogaers (images and design), Pim Wiersinga (translation) and . Together they will create a soundscape from a recipe with a synth show, to send Sneeuweieren / Snow Eggs festively into the world.

Peggy Verzett (1958) is a poet, painter and singer. She made her debut at publishing house Van Oorschot in Amsterdam, with Prijken die buik. In 2010, Vissing, was published by Querido. Haar vliegstro, appeared in 2016. Her fourth collection of poetry will be published in 2022. ‘Poetry can communicate before it is understood’, said T.S. Elliot. This quote has become her artistic mantra; sometimes hermetics as well as supple playfulness are present in her work. The first Jana Beranova Prize was awarded to her in 2019 for her idiosyncratic oeuvre. Paul Bogaers is a visual artist. Pim Wiersinga is a novelist.

Praten over boeken. 2 volwassen mannen met grote interesse en verbazing voor een poppenkast. Dat is ons overkomen in het atelier van Bien Velds te Groningen. Dit alles ter voorbereiding van een nieuw boekwerk die binnenkort door ORO gemaakt gaat worden. Een prachtig kunstboek van Villa Beestenboel. Een huis vol met fantasie en werkelijkheid. Zo kom je nog eens ergens.

Talking about books. 2 adult men with great interest and amazement for a dollhouse full with animals. That happened to us in the studio of Bien Velds in Groningen. All this in preparation for a new book that soon will be produced OROgpm. A beautiful artbook of te adventures in Villa Beestenboel. A house full of fantasy and reality

Recently produced for dutch educational publisher Delubas some hardcoverbooks out of serie samen lezen. Books are made with selfending inside (paper endpapers same as inside pages)

Onlangs voor educatieve uitgeverij Delubas enkele gebonden titels verzorgd uit de serie samenlezen. Boeken zijn gemaakt met aangedrukte schutbladen. ( www.samenlezen.nl )

At the end of last year we have proudly presented the fact that we’re going to work for the major art museum of Sao Paulo Brasil. Nobody knew at that time the impact of Covid-19 this year. At the moment we finished the first book for them Holland was more or less in lockdown and also Brasil was closing down. So, just recently we have managed to deliver the books in Brasil (swipe for some photo’s).
The impact of Covid-19 is huge, very huge, but during the whole period our production of printed matters continued. For sure we’re missing the personal contacts with all of you but we’re very impressed and proud by the fact that all of you (our friends / clients) are still finding us for making their productions. We love you, keep safe!!!!! 🙏

Onlangs boekwerk De hamster in je brein in opdracht van bertramendeleeuw geproduceerd. Een fsc paperback met flappen aan omslag en binnenwerk 90 grams Munken papier met opdikking 2.0.
De hamster in je brein gaat over hoe je duurzaam gewichtsverlies kunt realiseren. Ontwikkeld door 2 artsen die werkzaam zijn in het OVLG in Amsterdam.
Nu helemaal actueel in het huidige tijdperk waardoor wij allemaal met thuis zijn en wellicht sprake is van extra "corona kilootjes".

Ook nu is een door ons gemaakt boekwerk geselecteerd bij de best verzorgde boekwerken. Boekwerk Richard Prince in categorie kunst-, foto- en architectuurboeken. Boek bestaat uit 3 verschillende papiersoorten in het binnenwerk en is voorzien van gedrukte zijkanten. Expositie in het najaar in het Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam.

Integraal gebonden boek samen met landkaart en brief verpakt in speciaal ontwikkelde boekhuls.

The book is bound as flexicover and packed together with map and letter into special made sleeve.

Onlangs door ons gemaakt boekwerk in opdracht van .
Boek toont in woord en beeld de portretten van dertig mensen die verschillende traumatiserende gebeurtenissen meegemaakt hebben.
De trauma onderwerpen zijn gedrukt op transparant papier en als omstekers in boek verwerkt.

Recently we have made this impressive book for Dutch publisher Blooming.
It shows 30 individuals with traumatized experiences.
The subjects of these traumas are printed using translucent paper and positioned around sections of inside pages.
