Usually having a micro crew (only 3 of us today) means more work for each of us, but it has its benefits too, like a more intimate space for the actor to perform. Thanks to our wonderful actor and always even-keeled sound man for our second day shooting. Now on to the edit.

Pitching our short film concept Flow today Old Nick’s Pitching Forum! Daniel did a great job getting everyone into a flow state with his hypnotic presentation and awesome 90s vibes.

Shot a scene in a real ww2 trench in the south of the Netherlands for yesterday. Michelia on camera and Daniel dying from a phaser wound. The crew of passionate trekkies was a nice bonus, as was the gorgeous forest and wild horses clopping around.

Some of our cast and crew chilling after our short film shoot. Whenever possible, we love to relax and hang out together after we wrap to decompress and eat [burritos] and drink beer. We already had the location and plenty of picnic blankets to go around.

We shot a short film in Vondelpark in Amsterdam yesterday. It’s a personal project, a ‘oner,’ about a guy struggling with his personal choices and how they affect others. We carved out a nice little chunk of the park, had mostly good weather, brought all our equipment with two bakfietsen, and had some wonderful friends helping out in front of and behind camera.
