I am currently on a road trip through South California visiting all these locations where epic films were shot. Like the beach from the Planet of the Apes (1968), the house from Poltergeist (1982) and the gas station from The Terminator (1984)!

My 'Label Classics' series of megamixes showcases the early tracks of an important label in the Hardcore scene, some now defunct, some still in existence.

The fourth one in the series is Mokum Records. This label based in Amsterdam released some great tracks in the early years and some of these will forever be considered Hardcore classics.

For our international listeners: 'Mokum' is kind of the nickname for Amsterdam. It comes from a Hebrew word meaning 'place' or 'city'. Listen to my Mokum megamix and allow me to take you back on trip down memory lane!

The third one in the series was Rotterdam Records. Now defunct, it was once a legendary label that was instrumental in getting the very first Hardcore tracks out there.
