Morocco Desert Challenge 2024 is in the books! Last Saturday the rally finished in Ain Ben Mathar after eight fast stages from Agadir to Merzouga and up to Saidia. Coast to coast.

Dakar 2024 came to an end with six more stages from the Empty Quarter back to Yanbu. With an intense first week, and a challenging second this was a proper 'Toughest rally in the world' edition of the Dakar Rally.

We're halfway through the Dakar Rally 2024. With a day of rest today, we look back on the first eight days of competition from AlUla on the west coast to the Empty Quarters on the East side of Saudi Arabia.

2023 has come to an end and like tradition, we can look back on a spectacular year. I'm proud to work with several national sports federations, event organizers, and other organizations. Some of my images have been published all over the world, and some are still under embargo.

Dakar Rally 2024 is around the corner and with that, next year is almost starting. I can't wait to face more unique challenges and work on upcoming projects

The UCI Cycling World Championships 2023 in Glasgow have come to an end. All cycling disciplines combined into one big world championship fought for the rainbow jersey in a period of two weeks time. As the team photographer for KNWU, I've shot the highs and lows, the visible and invisible moments of the Dutch national team.

We Are Rally. Well, we were also very hot and exhausted with temperatures over 40 degrees every day during the Morocco Desert Challenge. With the start in Agadir and finish 8 stages later in Merzouga we've crossed some of the most beautiful regions of Morocco. During this rally, we've made friends but deep sadly also lost friends who we will never forget. This was extreme.

The first-ever Tunisia Desert Challenge in the pocket. Left Monastir this morning after a very good week in the Tunisian Desert with beautiful landscapes and some unique locations. Had a lot of fun with all the familiar faces and also met some new interesting people. Time to clean-up, and prepare for the next rally... the Dakar Rally!

Unscheduled, but much-appreciated, event last Sunday in Leiderdorp. Due to circumstances, the decision was made that I would not shoot the BMX Worlds at Papendal, so I went to Leiderdorp for the Triathlon Nationals (Sprint).

The first weekend done at the beach of Scheveningen during the TeamNL Olympic Festival. The Olympic event for everyone in The Netherlands to try and watch (Olympic) sports. Great fun to meet all people from different sports back at one location like 5 years ago, I'll be back next Saturday until the end of the Olympics.

The longest day of the year, KNWU/Fondo made good use of it with the Endless Summer Ride. Participants could choose to ride 100, 200, or 300 kilometers in one day. Local stops providing coffee and nutrition made it a fun and covid proof event.
