Enige tijd geleden werd mij de taak in handen gelegd om in opdracht van Rijkswaterstaat een mini-documentaire te maken over één van de grootste waterwerken ter wereld: De Oosterscheldekering! Deze documentaire wordt al een geruime tijd elke dag weer vertoond in de filmzaal van het Topshuis op Neeltje Jans, wanneer buitenlandse hoogwaardigheidsbekleders de stormvloedkering bezoeken om te leren over onze eeuwenlange strijd tegen het stijgende water… 🌊De Oosterscheldekering is één van de belangrijkste stormvloedkeringen en een technologisch meesterwerk dat Nederland beschermt tegen overstromingen. Uit de documentaire heb ik voor social media posts wat korte fragmenten geselecteerd die de trots en toewijding van de mensen achter dit monumentale project laten zien. In onderstaand fragment komt Omgevingsmanager Astrid Ghering aan het woord 👇🏻
