While our ship is once again moored on the beautiful coast of South Africa, we welcome on board Mr Deluxe, an artist who signed in 2014 for respective labels such as Do It Now Records and DeepStitched. After 10 years, Mr Deluxe is back and this time on Batavia Records with two interesting tracks.

the first cannonball track 'Not Your Dinner Table', which demands his place like a pirate, you better make way. That is exactly the vibe of this track with a vicious club vibe with spice, but with a soft sound like a wolf in sheep's clothing.

Second cannonball track 'Menai Bay' sounds like a dazzling paradise that you only see on posters, only this one is deafening. With deep pads, warm chords and a fitting vocal effect, this track takes you deeper into the heart of the island paradise.

As old as the hull of our ship we had a deeply wish to have an old mate back on board of our ship, but with all his goods. End of 2019 this artists apeared for the very first time on our compilation album 'Batavia's Treasure, Vol. 3' with his track 'That Cut'. From that time we spoke about having his very own EP on Batavia Record and this year it is going to take place.

Therefor we are very honored to welcome again Alvaro Hylander with his exclusive EP for our label by the name 'Azafran' with two absolute belters of tracks.

Track 1 by the name 'Saffron' (Azafran in Spanish) the spice you find in Spanish dish Paella or the Italian dish Rissotto comes from the very colorful Saffron flower which is related to Crocus Sativus, as pictured on the cover of this release. The beautiful purple color fields you find basically in wamer climates are just as magical as our classic ship 'Batavia'. It is not a coincidence stories like this pops up when you hear this jewel of a track. It's fresh, subtile, well balanced, warm, emotional, modern and openminded crafted. Amazing song by Alvaro Hylander and top class for sure.

Track 2 'Conditional State' is a real journey as our ship still makes every month to find the true diamond among the silver. You could say this track is such diamond with his deep pads and chords taking you away in deeper thoughts that contributes on your 'Conditional State' of mind. Especially the breakdown allures you away from the surface right into the deep.

We could say nothing more than let you decide for yourself what quality this EP 'Azafran' has brought you by Alvaro Hylander.

For this release under the name 'Ngiwe' which means 'I Fell' in the Zulu language, we sail again towards South Africa to go deep into the mainland of the Soweto area near Johannesburg to meet a new sailor 'raydadeepeR'. His roots are in 'Gauteng' and he is the co-founder of the DeepHouseSyndicates movement that started in 2018 and continues to grow across various music platforms. While our ship lies at anchor awaiting the return of our expedition crew members, we take a closer look at this single release. raydadeepeR introduce his release with two versions of 'Ngiwe', namely an introduction and the original song. The 'interlude' version is a wonderful appetizer of the original that feels dreamy and compelling like dancing waves during low tide. The original shows raydeepeR's true intention, which consists of deep accords, pads and a cinematic sound that literally makes you fall deep into the warm sea water. Second canon explosion 'The First Time (Dub Rubbed Content)' made by Stelka and Gift of Africa with the piano as a supporting element. Together with a fitting bassline and playful synths, this forms a solid foundation for the smooth pads to blend into.

The third cannonball fires with a beautiful song called 'Pulse on the Finger' by Stelka and Embadesoul dives more into deeper waters to find the amazing hidden treasures that can be discovered.

Once again a real diamond edition from African soil that is certainly a collector's item for every Deep House enthusiast.

Now that winter has arrived, our ship has landed on the coast of Italy to escape the cold. Here we received a warm welcome from producer Mirco B (Club Squisito) and Tony Deledda who had joined forces to create a joint project called 'I Wanna Change'. With three different versions with their own input, the duo shows their musical talents. Mirco B more on the deep subtle side and Tony Deledda more towards a club-like vibe. To these two icons within the Deep House genre we have added a third skipper with a great remix in his own style that we know under the name ZaVen. What a start to the new year with this beautiful single release that matches a sunrise on the open sea from our classic ship.

Now that winter has arrived, our ship has landed on the coast of Italy to escape the cold. Here we received a warm welcome from producer Mirco B (Club Squisito) and Tony Deledda who had joined forces to create a joint project called 'I Wanna Change'. With three different versions with their own input, the duo shows their musical talents. Mirco B more on the deep subtle side and Tony Deledda more towards a club-like vibe. To these two icons within the Deep House genre we have added a third skipper with a great remix in his own style that we know under the name ZaVen. What a start to the new year with this beautiful single release that matches a sunrise on the open sea from our classic ship.
