For my buddies over at I am upgrading one of their Prusa i3 MK3S printers to the brand new MK4S by . This already is the 4th MK4 I assembled in the last few weeks and like the MK3S I am almost able to do it without the assembly manual. The Prusa printer assemblies get easier with every new iteration.

For the upcoming Halloween party at , the decoration team needed a nicely decorated cross. This beautiful Christian cross is printed in WOODJet on the Prusa XL by . I scaled it to the max and printed in 0.2mm layers. The quality of this wood filament is so good.

I'm currently doing some well needed repairs and service for . They use printers and I'm working on 3 Prusa i3 MK3S printers and one Prusa MINI. I also need to upgrade one of the MK3Ss to the new MK4S printers. These guys do such amazing things for the people of Delft so I love to help them make these run as new again. I hope to finish them tomorrow.

Today I received the spooler and cooling rig for my FilaFab filament extrusion setup. The extruder will arrive after the weekend so I have a lot of research to do next week. The spooler is built very well and I received the latest version because of some delays they had during production. I can't wait to start extruding.

This picture is worth more than anything to me. This was a couple of weeks ago during festival. I was invited by the Multigroove crew and they told me I could bring some friends. Obviously my wife joined the fun and these two guys on the left are kind of a story. The standing one is my mate , one of my best mates ever but we haven't seen each other for nearly 20 years so it was great to see him again. 30 years ago we actually visited the very first event here at Hemkade so I had to call him and ask him to join us. The guy that's sitting next to me is . A young dude and great friend. We like a lot of the same things and we actually call him the son I never had. 😜 This dude is making power moves and moved to Curaçao yesterday to start a new chapter in his career and I'm so proud of this guy. Ian I wish you huge success and much fun over there buddy. It was great to chill in the Multigroove Backstage with you guys just before your move. You know why mate. Arno I'll see you soon buddy. Ian I love you and know that you will rock it over there. When you are back I will ask Ilja if it's ok to repeat this awesome day to celebrate. 😉

Printed this beautiful Ariel model for my buddy Wouter. His girlfriend celebrated her birthday and I heard that she is a fan. So I used my Prusa MK4 and printed it in this stunning Filament PM Silk Golden Glory which is spot-on for this material. Great stuff.

I am nearly ready to ship out the 1 meter long Hemkade 48 model I made for Ilja Reiman of Multigroove. This legendary warehouse is printed in three big parts on the Prusa XL in 2.5 Kg Prusament PETG. I'm finishing up the paint job this week and am preparing a nice wooden laser engraved base. I know this building so well. It is so cool to create this from the actual building plans and print it after a couple of evenings in Fusion360.

My Prusa MK4 is doing an amazing job on this beautiful Velociraptor head. It is printing in 0.15mm layers and the detail is stunning. Printing in PETG Pastel. This one is going to look very good once finished. It can be mounted on the wall which is pretty cool too.

I just took this beautiful PLA Galaxy Green out of the box for a nice big multi color print and had to take a picture of this filament in the sun. It's stunning. What are you printing today?

Trying some of the beautiful new PLA Pastel Colors and it looks very good so far. Printing a cool Cyclone Vase on the Prusa MK4 by in 0.15mm layers. Great stuff.

A customer needed some plates to install custom buttons for the windows and gave me a blank original. I used to create a bunch of prototypes for him to try. I printed them on the Prusa XL by in ASA and they fit really well. I like projects like these. Great fun.

Morning harvest time. I made 200 Seat Connectors for the seats in our conference rooms at . I quickly sketched them in and printed them on the Prusa XL 5T by in PETG. They work very well. You think I should share this model on ?

I needed to do a quick print and noticed that the PETG was slightly humid. I placed the active filament dryer next to my Prusa MK4 and was able to start the print after just 20 minutes. It really is the best filament dryer I have used so far. This thing rotates the spool and blows hot air through the box. It can even house 2 and 3Kg spools which is quite convenient.

Another Prusa i3 MK3 to MK4 upgrade finished. I decided to go with PETG and ASA (for Nextruder) Galaxy Black and it was a great choice in my opinion. It looks so good. The machine is calibrated, connected to PrusaConnect and filament is loaded so time to start a test print.

I'm assembling the Prusa MK4 upgrade for one of my Prusa i3 MK3S+ by today. I already disassembled the MK3S so time to start upgrading. I decided to print the parts for this MK4 in PETG and ASA Galaxy Black and they look stunning.

I just finished the upgrade and calibration process of the Prusa i3 MK3S+ to MK3.5 and it's great to see Jo's face telling me it's time for some Happy Printing! That means that the upgrade was successful. Time to start another full MK4 upgrade. Let's go!

Do you have kids? I'm sure that they will love this cool little Owl Whistle. It's a very easy print and the whistle actually works quite well. Very cool design from my friend 3DMYG. I worked until 04:00 in 34° Celsius but look at this. I made some mad progress on the LDO Motors Voron 2.4 and it looks like a beast already. That glass fiber black looks great with the light blue and orange accents. I did find two happy accidents in the manual but this build is so much fun so far. It's day two of the LDO VORON CoreXY 3D Printer 2.4 300mm assembly and today we will clean, and lubricate the carriages of the linear guide rails. Yesterday I found a great video by NERO 3D about the lubrication basics and he used a Original WD40 UK PTFE spray for these rods which we will try today too. I still can't believe how fast the Bambu Lab 3D X1 Carbon is. 🤯 It's so freaking cool to see the layers get extruded at these speeds. I'm printing a 3 color Mandala model by Mosaic Manufacturing in stunning pastel color PLA from Filament PM. Noooo! The 4 color Adalinda print I was doing on the Bambu Lab 3D X1 Carbon sadly failed because the purge tower came loose. To be honest I am not completely surprised. The purge tower is very small so when it reaches a certain height it is very easy to tip over. So I think a proper brim might do wonders for a purge tower like this. I've printed a lot of PA Carbon Fiber and a large portion of that is the super high-quality Fiberthree PA CF Pro. My printers are able to print it very well but the speed needs to be set low. The Bambu Lab 3D X1 Carbon is capable to print these materials at insane speeds and the quality is still amazing. Check out this Cheerful Pilot model by Bendansie3D. I wanted to see if it is able to print Carbon Filled Nylon in 0.16mm layers and it does it easily at 200mm/s for the outer wall, 300mm/s for the inner wall, and 250 for the infill. The Bambu Lab 3D X1 Carbon really is fast. On my other 3D printers I'm printing these SlimmeLezer covers for my buddy Marcel Zuidwijk in a bit over 6 hours at 0.3mm layers. On the X1 Carbon, they are finished in 2 hours at 0.26mm layers. I'm printing a large Prusa Research 3D printers logo on a shirt using the Kywoo_Official Tycoon Max. The filament I'm using is 3D print filament - Plasticz PLA Flex and I'm doing two 0.2mm layers. It worked better than expected because of the BL Touch sensor. The first layer is spot on without any alterations. I'm trying out the Swiss3Dc Starlex High Flow Zero Tool hotend on my Ender3 v2 with PITTA - Stellamove PITTA and it seems to work very well.
