Remember, remember, the 4th of November...

I will 😉! Every once in a while you have one of those days when everything just flows exactly the way it's supposed to.

Stepping up to the 1's & 2's on a packed Sophia's Saturday, I already knew this was going to be one for the books.

Many of my favourite chefs, bartenders, cocktailshakers and dishwashers were in the place to be. The vibe was chill but joyfully anticipating, and I decided to go with it.

I am more than pleased with what that decision turned into, and I hope you'll feel the same. So press play and let the sweet sounds of a Sophia's Saturday take you on a journey...

Hi everyone 🙋🏻‍♂️,

First of all: thank you for following/liking this page. I know FB isn’t that hot anymore, but us DJ’s can hardly go without. Let’s see if I can show my gratitude with a little edit I made…

So, it’s actually meant to be a Valentine’s Day special, so this post is one day late. I ‘made’ an edit of David Jones’ ‘Klappy’, in which I enriched the already amazing original mix with the vocals of a love song by one of the Netherlands’ best bands of all time: De Dijk. That song is called ‘Groot Hart’. It tells the tale of a man who keeps landing into trouble because he just has too much love to give. He has a big heart… 😉 It’s one of my favorite Dutch songs, but I thought it could use a new and groovier jacket. I don’t own the rights to either one of these songs, so if I need to take my edit down (because of copyright infringment, or for other reasons) please tell me and I will do so a.s.a.p. I’m not seeking fame or money, I’m just a hobbyist-DJ and -producer that loves music and creating new things.
