In reality it is the total opposite.

You are confident when you can admit you are wrong or you do not know the answer and ask for help.

That is true confidence.!!!

Resume Tips for yacht crew

Is your resume branded enough?

What I didn’t know when I started in yachting is how important a brand can be and how it can help you.

60% of the time ta branded resume is halfway there. A shame if your resume has some branding but is lacking in key places.

Here are a few simple guidelines to follow when identifying and showcasing your brand and strengths
on your resume.

👉 Compile a list of 3-8 things you want to showcase on your resume. Ask yourself: what are my superpowers? What are you known for? What skills do you want to use in your next role? How can my land bases skills translate to yachting?

👉 Keywords. What is the job description asking for? If this is part of your skillset, list it. This is critical if you want your resume to be tagged by employers using application tracking system.

👉 Now that you know the keywords to your brand, sprinkle them throughout your resume, cover letter, and LI profile. Not only will an ATS(application tracking system) find you but it will also be easier for the hiring manager to know immediately what you are all about (and how you can help THEM!).
