Looking at this just makes me smile. Look at me, I think. Who would have thought that I would ever be able to do something like this again? In a way, I am grateful for my illness now. It has given me insights. Especially that life can not be made, no matter how hard you work. You simply have to have a mountain of luck. With your health. And with the opportunities that are available to you. And that actually starts at the place of your cradle. Literally. My cradle was in a small village. A safe place. I had the misfortune to become seriously ill, but I know that my cradle ensured that I am standing here again today. If I had not had such loving family, if I had not had the chance to seek and seize opportunities, if I had not been allowed to be in an environment where people have enough financial resources to help others, I would never, ever be standing here like this now. Then my life would consist of surviving and getting through the day. With headaches and much sadness. It’s Christmas, good to dwell on things like this. Take a look around you I would say. See the people who are there for you, the opportunities you have and be grateful.
