⚡️Here are some fun games you can play with your puppy as soon as they get home just make sure you keep these games SHORT and increase the duration and difficulty as they get older. My puppy Imola is here 8 and 9 weeks old
1. Tug of war🐶
•Let the puppy win alot, but also use this opportunity to teach your puppy the “drop it” command during the game by asking them to release the toy and rewarding them when they do so.
2. Chase me game🏃🏻➡️
• Probably the first thing I did with Imola is to associate her name with lots of fun and rewards. Do short distance if you own a herding breed because they might nip your legs, so to avoid this, use short distances with with cookies so the puppy is looking forward to get food from your hand.
3. Search the cookie🍪
•Show your puppy a treat and then throw it in small area while your puppy watches. Encourage your puppy to find the treat by adding the command. You can later use cups, towels or whole room as your search area.
4. Frisbee rollers🥏
•You can do the same with ball or any toy and encourage your puppy to retrieve it and bring it back to you. Reward your puppy with treats or praise when they return the toy. The trick how to make puppy bring it to you will be to run away from the puppy and make yourself exciting or to use a leash. I personally start using the leash when they become teenagers and thats when they start again refusing to return the toys 😆
