On the other music side we have created a VA fundraiser compilation for Ukraine.

It contains 20 tracks by electronic music artists from various genres. From the beginning of March, the 20 artists started to donate an existing or new track. The diversity of genres allows the listener to hear various perspectives of electronic music. Genres such as ambient, downtempo and techno and harder styles such as hardcore and breakcore and experimental music cover a broad landscape.

Some artists wrote a brand new track for this compilation, while others came with some very great one they already had. All tracks are unreleased before the compilation. While arranging and mastering the compilation, the entire series was listened to several times with big impressions. The artists have created something beautiful for this world!

Now after the release we have the goal to fund direct causes for aid to Ukraine with all of the proceeds from the United Electronic Music Artists for Ukraine compilation. In this way we hope to be able to contribute to help for the people in Ukraine in a musical and direct way as what feels like what we can do within our possibilities.

This still with this message is something to share particular.

No matter how hard systems, in their different kinds, try to put down creative industries there will be a point again that the energy needs to release in a natural way. Like life flows in it's own by nature.

Dancing is important for the relations and connections with our environment, people around us and ourselves. It's good for the body, mind and soul. I think that in the human collective as in the society we form together, there can be no way that a system of any kind would make it possible for the long term to suppress the need to dance and celebrate life!

Tnx to José Kivits for her creative input on this shirt of our label and for all dances after dances on the many nights we've been dancing till morningrise, Suzanne Marije for the design works and Pressum Grafimedia Grave for taking the good care in realising these shirts.

Hopefully all limitations on the dance industry and society in general will be gone soon. It has been too long that regular events could take place, not spoken about the not always so good support in our existence with the regulations.

Got some fresh new sounds recorded for Mecanik Records music. Tnx Guus zonder gezichtenboek!

The hammer is sometimes used as a symbol for the label. This refers to mechanical working industries like the car industries in Detroit. Where the roots of techno are. And in sound for the large industrial construction halls. Which are known for pretty places for hard hittin drummachines and more!

After getting promise after promise and then getting these promises canceled at last moments (like the Dutcies say: “Een worst voor de neus houden”) for re-opening the event industry in the Netherlands we are now gonna make a big stand against the ignoring attitude from the Dutch government towards the industry.

The event industry is getting hit after hit during the covid timeframe. Closed as one of the first industries, and after all promises (see the news facts) as last still not re-opened. Also how decisions regarding the industry are made, like switching on, and off as it is a light or something is destructive. People lose their jobs, get hired again, lose their jobs, get hired again. Events were built after the green lights and needed to cancel all efforts after the following red lights.

Although we do not organise events, we stand 100% behind the Unmute Us actions to stand for the rights of the event industry and we support them fully by their actions against the government. Our artists perform on their stages, our music is getting played on their events and listeners of our music are dancing on their events. Besides that, we all take it with our hearts too. It is unreal what is happening to this beautiful industry right now. We should embrace this event industry as something we can be proud of. It has taken years and decades of workforce, knowledge and expertise investing in it. Continue professionalising, development, hard work to make it better and better to what it is today. Most of us visit the events gathering with like minded people by a lifestyle, interest, and life celebration as part of most of a hard working and busy life. This industry is bleeding hard, real, real, real hard at this moment. So we want to ask everyone; public, visitors, participants, studio musicians, producers, dj’s, live acts, stage managers, stage hands, light technicians, sound technicians, food suppliers, drink suppliers, bar workers, security workers, to join the protest march on saturday the 21 of august.

The marches are in the cities Amsterdam, Groningen, Nijmegen, Utrecht and Rotterdam.

Come and join and let's make a stand together against the injustice behaviour of our government towards this beautiful industry, that is realising the worlds where a lot of people find each other, new loves and lifes are born, new music and interests are discovered and all more that is part of a celebration of life!

We can not take this any longer. Enough, is enough!

Tnx to a super team that worked hard together behind the scenes we want to celebrate two things today!

At first that the clubs are re opening again after 15 months of lockdown and as second the first one of a serie new releases. We can't wait to reconnect on the dancefloors again and we thought we best combine that with some fresh new music.

Kracht, one of Nijmegen finest in the some harder style in techno has joined our label with his EP Running up that hill.

The EP contains three tracks. Slightly moving from forward banging to deeper atmospheres in an introspective rippling flow.

Already available on our website and Bandcamp, in other stores from the 8th of July.
