KIDS MOCK A POOR CLASSMATE FOR HER HANDMADE HALLOWEEN COSTUME — LATER BEG HER FOR MERCY
Madison had asked her dad a few days earlier if she could have a Halloween costume like her friend Anna's. Her father, Ashton, gave her a sad smile and gently shook his head. "We can't swing it right now, sweetheart. But I promise, one day, you'll have the best costume ever."
Then, a couple of days before Halloween, Ashton came home with a simple witch costume. Madison was thrilled. "Thank you, Daddy! Everyone's going to love this witch dress!" she squealed, hugging him tight. Ashton wished he could give her more, but seeing her excitement made him feel content.
But Halloween night didn't go as Madison had imagined. When she proudly joined the other kids, Anna turned to her and sneered, "You can't come with us! I'm the only witch in our group, and honestly, that costume? Yuck!" The other kids laughed, pointing at her. Embarrassed and heartbroken, Madison was left standing alone as the group took off.

The drive was quiet. At the hospital, he looked back after getting out, saying, "You didn't have to do this.”
The next morning, Cleo awoke to a strange sound, like low thunder. Pulling back her curtains, she gasped at a motorcade of black SUVs outside her apartment. Had she helped a criminal?

My marriage was going well until a family moved in next door with a daughter who looked exactly like mine. They resembled each other so much that it was as if they were sisters, and I began to suspect that my husband, Jack, was cheating. I confronted him after driving myself crazy over how similar the girls looked, but he became quiet and avoided answering any questions about the neighbor's daughter. That's when I decided to find out for myself.
