Nieuwe Illustratie Podcast aflevering! In podcast 105 praat ik met Kajsa Blomberg. heeft sinds 2006 een agentschap voor illustratoren en auteurs.
‍
Zo werkt ze onder andere samen met (ken je haar nog uit podcast 92?), , van .nl, , Gozde Eyce aka , , .nl, , , , , (te gast in podcast 90), , , en behartigt ze de zakelijke belangen van wijlen .
‍
Een leuk en leerzaam gesprek over welke taken zij als agent precies uit handen neemt, maar ook over hoe het vooral samenwerken is. We hebben het over kopjes koffie, percentages en contracten. Leuk als je meeluistert, superleuk als je laat weten wat je uit deze aflevering meeneemt!

She was born in 1919 in Budapest, Hungary. She starred in countless movies and TV series, including Love Boat. It was her voice that brought the elegant Duchess to life in Disney’s The Aristocats, stealing our hearts. She married five times and is the sister of Zsa Zsa. Oh, and she has her very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Her name?

Eva Gabor.

On February 6, 1950, she graced the cover of Life Magazine.

🔥🔥🔥 I used the original 1950’s cover for a paradisiacal collage, now hanging at the North Sea Jazz Festival in Rotterdam!!! 🔥🔥🔥

How proud can one be...

Eva will be displayed until this Sunday at Stand 17, Hudson Art Department, North Sea Jazz, Rotterdam. 🎶🎶🎶

had the honour of making this wonderful cover illustration of a new book with short stories by Anne Frank, ‘Pennekinderen’. She also made a beautiful back cover with the tiniest details all papercut. Even Anne’s portrait.
This unique book is beautifully illustrated by 40 topillustrators from all over the world. All choose a story to illustrate.
It was published a month ago on 12th of June, Anne’s 95th birthday. In the Anne Frank House a small exhibition is dedicated to this book.
Limited edition art posters of this amazing cover and other wonderful illustrations are available.

Timeless sketchbook illustration by Rolf Blomberg, who was not only a good photographer .
This illustration which I only recently came across in a presentation about Rolfs work made me realize that my love for illustrations is probably in the genes.

Wubkje Kuindersma bewerkte het boek tot een prachtig ballet voor iedereen vanaf 4 jaar. Drie dansers en een cellist!

Voor de filatelisten onder mijn volgers 🤔
Ik maakte een postzegelset voor van vogels op Bonaire voor de serie ‘beleef de natuur’. Een heel eervolle opdracht! Sinds gisteren is de eerste set postzegels en postkaarten te bestellen bij PostNL Collect Club (Of gratis voor leden bij een bestelling vanaf 25 euro).

Op 20 maart 2024, ter gelegenheid van de astronomische lente, lanceerde PostNL het postzegelvel Tuininsecten met illustraties van mij :)

Dit vel bevat illustraties van 10 unieke insectensoorten die in Nederland voorkomen, zowel in de natuur als in de tuin.

Super mooie opdracht, voelt echt heel eervol!
