Op 16 februari 2024 verschijnt Royalty For Real, het zesde studioalbum van saxofonist, en Vandoren endorser, Susanne Alt.
Dit album, opgedragen aan de te vroeg overleden trompettist Roy Hargrove, is in New York opgenomen met een bezetting van Amerikaanse topmuzikanten (James Hurt, Gerald Cannon en Willie Jones III).
In het nummer Rue Lepic resoneert Hargrove’s catchy compositie ‘Strassbourg Saint-Denis’ en de titel verwijst naar een Parijse straat waar een bekend saxofoonmondstuk- en rietenmerk huist.…..
