Our ADE Weekend officially begins today, but first, let's have a quick look back.
The concern of what happens to the horses during our events came up last year. This year, we'd decided to show you and want to be clear that the horses are kept in healthy and secure conditions during our events.
The riding school's owner is an important link in this story and ensures that the horses can temporarily shelter on a large piece of land. We appreciate De Hollandse Manege and its staff for working with us and making this happen.
As we speak, we're making our final preparations. See you all in a few hours. Last info was mailed to you last night and can also be found in our story.
@tomanmusic at Paradiso last year. Last tickets now online, be sure to get yours before it's too late.

"Broaden Your Mind"
A phenomenon that seems rarer each day: listening.
Listen carefully... you'll hear the change coming.
No Art Festival - 30 July 2022 - NDSM-Werf Amsterdam
We’d like to introduce to you: ‘WAAIWERK’ by @boris.acket
'WAAIWERK' by Boris Acket will be showcased at No Art Festival, the 30th of July from 12:00 PM till 23:00 PM at the ‘NDSM-Werf’ in Amsterdam North. All art during our festival is also shown at Art Festival - Synergy, a day prior to the No Art Festival.
Waaiwerken is a new series of works by Dutch media artist Boris Acket and a diverse group of collaborators. The works are a somewhat playful sidetrack to the artist’s more conceptual and ‘stricter’ audiovisual works. Together they act as a series in which practical research, material, light and movement by wind and natural elements are the subject itsself.
The first of the series was presented at last years’ Schemerlicht Festival and was inspired by the collaboration he entered earlier in the year with Dutch artist Elias Mazian, Lumus Instruments, Jameszoo and Toon Rooijmans.
Waaiwerken is intended to be an endless research project into these beautiful feedbackloops of art and nature. The pieces are intended to be understandable on a basic, primal level, without a set story or concept to tell. Hypnotic vacuums in time, slowly drifting or violently moving defined by conditions of that current context or day.
The works are never the same - always different. And while they seem to be about all these different moments they will never be able to capture or reproduce one moment exactly the same twice.
Music by @jameszoooo & @eliasmazian

EINDER is a simulator of natural patterns; A gigantic kinetic canvas is central to the work. The canvas is powered by 18 motors and 2 silent fans. Sometimes the canvas appears to be a rigid material, almost a stationary sculpture. Then it waves like wind, shines like the surface of the water.
