We urge the Kaduna State Government to intervene, arrest the company representative, and ensure Shamsuddeen's tuition fees are paid. Bright Edafe, the Police Public Relations Officer, emphasized the authority's prerogative to arrest those unable to justify their sources of income, stating that such individuals could be taken to court.

Expressing concern over the prevailing trend where questioning "suspicious wealth" is frowned upon, Edafe highlighted the rise of criminal activities in the country, including kidnapping, ritual killings, and internet fraud.

Edafe clarified that the police force has instructed its personnel to act responsibly, avoiding the misuse of inquiries into income sources as a pretext for extortion. He stated, "We tell our men to do the right thing and not take it as an avenue to extort."
