PDP SO LUCKY TO GET FINTIRI AT THE RIGHT TIME

We've seen, heard and witnessed so many chairmen of the national convention of the people's democratic party for several years back but Gov Fintiri's performance is undeniably extra ordinary and excellently superb.

H.E Gov. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has roar so loud, stood on his feet, and selflessly taken PDP to a higher level in Nigeria.

He has given youths the huge chance they've been pleading and waiting for of which have gone a long way in paving a huge way for PDP's victory in Nigeria in the forth coming general election 2023.(a new record).

So far this is the most transparent, accountable and peaceful national convention since 1999(record broken).

Under his watch, all elected national excos are regionally balanced, and were individually elected base on capability and individual contribution to the party.

YOLDEPATE RESIDENTS THANK GOV FINTIRI OVER COMPLETION OF BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION EARLIER BEFORE RAINING SEASON

Speaking to some residents of the Yoldepate community earlier this morning, they described the newly constructed bridge as a rescue to them and their naiboring societies both vehycle owners and pedestrians, farmers, travellers and traders.

proceeding with the interview, One Mr Suleiman Ahmad a taxi driver said "During raining season I, my fellow taxi drivers and other private vehycles owner used to keep our cars at the garage or a friend's house and trek back home because no vehycles can Cross that river". they applauded and thank H.E Gov Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for rescuing their society and Yola south entirely.

The newly constructed bridge attached to the ongoing construction of Bye-pass road linking Yola south and Yola north via yoldepate axis have already been put to into utility by the residents of yoldepate and nearby communities even before completion, though the bridge has been rated 98% done, recently pedestrians and vehicle owners do happily crosses over the newly constructed bridge.

They said their Joy will be uncontrollable if the whole designed and ongoing work is completed and Yola south got linked to Yola north, they also comment the speedy movement of the work.

ADAMAWA URBAN RENEWAL

The construction of Mbamba Township Road (1.0km) and fallout drainages by Adamawa State Government under the able leadership of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri commenced last week.

So far, the work is advancing - as the drainages are on completion stage.

Recalled, Gov. Fintiri awarded and flagged off five (5) different township roads across Yola South few months ago; including Mafias Road, Doctors Quarters Road, Zumo Road and Yolde Pate - Nyibango Road (with 2 span bridges).

As a patriotic citizen of Yola South, I must confess that Gov. Fintiri gave us thousands of reasons to vote for him once more in 2023.

GOVERNOR FINTIRI INTERACTS WITH WORLD BANK TOWARDS TRANSFORMING THE HEALTH SECTOR

Adamawa State Governor, Rt.Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri says his administration is determined to change the ugly narrative of the state of the health sector in the State.
Governor Fintiri who led the State health team to a meeting with Dr Mohammed Ali Pate who doubles as the Global Director for Health, Nutrition and Population and Director of the Global Financing Facility for Women, Children and Adolescents at the World Bank Group, noted that better health is central to human happiness and wellbeing.
He stressed that a healthy population makes important contributions to economic progress and therefore will not leave any stone unturned towards meeting the health needs of the People.

Discussions at the meeting which centred on ways to strengthen and reposition the health sector in the State, also reviewed ongoing projects, identified new ones and deliberated on implementation processes.

The Fresh air Governor disclosed that his administration's commitment to make it possible for communities to feel the impact of governance at the grassroots Informed the massive infrastructural development of healthcare facilities in those areas that hitherto had non, while also upgrading primary health centres across the State to ensure effective service delivery to members of the public.

The Governor informed the Global Director that aside infrastructural renewal and development, the administration has employed over two thousand health workers and has recently advertised vacancies for Medical personnel and other category of health workers, adding that it became necessary following the policy of the administration to ensure the improvement of health and well-being of the People.

Dr Mohammed Ali Pate a former Minister of State Health in Nigeria assured the Governor of his support and that of the World Bank, saying the institution places importance to the health of the people and would ensure Adamawa people benefit from the commitment of the global body to ensure a healthy society.

While commending the initiative of Governor Ahmadu Fintiri, he described him as a rare leader who puts State first before any consideration, saying with leaders like the Governor the people have nothing to fear.

On the Governor's entourage were the Commissioner for Health Professor Abdullahi Isa and the Executive Chairman Adamawa State Primary Healthcare Development Agency Dr Suleiman Bashir.

A philosophy and a political analyst name Audrey Lorde once said; "When I dare to be powerful, to use my strength in the service of my vision, then it becomes less and less important whether I am afraid"
This is the exact situation of The All progressive Congress in Adamawa state.

He (Governor Fintiri) fought and won over them from beneath and ascended, they where rejected by the masses due to their failures, sidelinings, digital system of governance, unproductivity and carelessness, self empowerment.

If not forgotten, in the March 9, 2019 Adamawa state governorship election and upon the completion of March 28, 2019 Adamawa state supplementary election, H.E Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri was declared winner of the election having polled 376,552 votes defeating the incumbent governor Bindow Jibrilla of the All Progressive Congress who polled 336,386 votes.

Their fair is "He fought us from beneath, ascended and won, what will happen now that he will be fighting us from above?"
"We were in control yet he gave us that rough and tough beating.

So far, seeing what is on ground, the development stride, the records been broke, the impact and the devident of democracy been delivered by this administration, no one need to tell you that Gov Fintiri will successfully be elected for his second term except the blind.

The Adamawa state ministry of Education and human capital development is calling on all those that have subscribed to the post primary schools management board portal regard to recruitment of teachers are informed to check their names at their respective local government areas.

A statement signed by the Deputy permanent secretary in the ministry Mr Sunday Stephen who is also the committee chairman indicate that this is in persuant to the aptitude test that have been slated for only shortlisted applicants to hold on Saturday thirteen March twenty twenty one at each of the five educational zonal headquarters across the state by nine am in the morning.

According to the statement, covid_19 protocols and mesusres will be strictly adhere to and applicants are to come alongside their registration slip and any means of identification as pre_requisite to sit for the Aptitude test.

The venue for the Aptitude test are as follows,yola zone will hold at General murtala Mohammed collage yola,Gombi zone will hold at Government secondary School Gombi while mubi zone will hold at Government secondary school mubi.

The statement further stated that numan zone will take place at Government secondary School numan and Ganye zone will take place at Government secondary School sugu respectively.

4Th NORTH EAST GOVERNOR'S FORUM MEETING OPENS IN BAUCHI

The fourth meeting of the northeast Governors forum has opened on Wednesday in the Bauchi State Government House.

The meeting is being attended by Chairman and deputy chairman of the forum Governors Professor Umara Zulum of Borno and Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa states.

Others are host Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi, Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe and deputy Governors of Yobe and Taraba states as well as British High Commissioner to Nigeria Mrs Catrional Laing.

In his opening remarks, Governor Bala Mohammed joined in the call on the need for the country to decentralize the security by creating state police.

He condoled with the government and people of Borno and Taraba among other States over the recent killings and massacres in the region and advocated for the use of local security.

The chairman of the North East Governors Forum, Professor Babagana Umara Zulm called on the federal government to hire mercenaries from neighboring countries like Chad and Cameron with a view to ending the insurgency.

Professor Zulum advised for the provision of adequate security in schools across the country in view of the kidnappings of school children as in the case of Chibok, Dapchi, Kagara and Jangabe.

GOV WIKE , FINTIRI RECONCILE ORTOM, MOHAMMED

The acrimonious relationship between the Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom and Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Mohammed, has been amicably resolved.

The conflict was resolved in Port Harcourt on Tuesday following the intervention of Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike and his Adamawa State counterpart, Governor Ahmed Fintiri.

Briefing journalists at the meeting which held at Governor Wike's private residence at Rumuepirikom, the Governor Mohammed said the outburst between him and Governor Ortom over herders/Fulani profiling is highly regrettable.

"we don't mean to divide the country, to divide our people. We are still friends and brothers and that we will move forward because most of those issues are fully resolved.

"I want to seize this opportunity to tell Nigerians that whatever misconception that is there , that me and my brother Ortom are having problem or anybody in Nigeria is not true. What happened was just an explanation that emanated from a larger Governors' Forum that we spoke on the security of the nation and we talked of the failure of security infrastructure which everybody knows is under the purview of the federal government."

Similarly, Governor Ortom appreciated Governor Wike and Governor Fintiri for arranging the meeting where it was agreed that outburst between him and his Bauchi State counterpart was not needed.

"We have accepted that it was wrong for us to have that kind of outburst that went out, but as from today we have learnt. We are all fallible human beings and we are subject to mistakes and so when we make mistakes , it is a plus for us if we correct them. And I think moving forward, we shall live together. The Fulani and Tiv people have cohabitated for a long time and there is no issue whatsoever."

Governor Ortom identified the failure of the security architecture of the country which is anchored by the federal government for the recent outburst between him and Governor Mohammed.

"We look forward that the federal government should stoop down to conquer by accepting that, yes ,they have failed, so that together the State and the local government can come together to find a way of finding a lasting solution to this country

"As at today, there is no equity, there is no fairness , there is no justice in our country and that is why everywhere in Nigeria there are issues. So we look forward that the Federal Government will partner with us. This time we need not to talk about partisan politics. We must come together. We need not to talk about ethnicity or religion. We must come together as brothers and sisters who have no other country than Nigeria, to work together towards a common cause that will solve the problem that we have."

Governor Wike thanked the Governors of Bauchi and Benue States for amicably resolving their dispute.

"We give God the glory today that those difference have been sorted out. We are members of one political party. Like what the Governor of Bauchi and Governor of Benue said, we don't want the inefficiency, we don't want the incapacity of the Federal Government in handling the issue of insecurity in the country to rub on us.

"Everybody knows that the Federal Government has failed in providing security for this country. And of course you will not blame them. They (Ortom and Mohammed) are under pressure from their various States. It is not as if they have any personal issue."

Governor Wike observed that the All Progressives Congress was rejoicing that there was a disagreement between the Governors of Benue and Bauchi States, but noted that the opposition party will be disillusioned now that the disagreement has been resolved.

"They will not be happy today that two of them have now made up to work together. "

Governor Wike urged the media to be a bit more circumspect in reporting issues that could further polarize the country.

"But you too the press, you should have a role to play in stabilizing the country. It is not everything you must report. You don't try to escalate things. When you do that your not helping the country."

On his part, Adamawa State Governor , Ahmed Fintiri, said as national leaders, it was incumbent of him and Governor Wike to intervene in the disagreement between their Benue and Bauchi counterparts.

TONGO ELECTRIFICATION

Finally, workers have resume works on the Toungo Electrification project by Adamawa state government under the leadership of H.E Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri on his effort to reconnect the Local government to national grid.

After overcoming some challenges the workers faced days back, the workers are now back and have resume work with full labour force.

In the government effort to fasten the electrification, transformers and other equipment have to the LGA Secretariat already.
