We had Garri with coconut at my Uncle Mbuk's house. It was so much fun, I really enjoyed it. I missed out on something special. Garri is made from cassava, which is a starchy tuber.

To make it, the cassava is peeled, washed, grated, and then fermented. The fermented mash is then dried and fried to create a fine powder. This powder can be used to make various dishes or consumed as a staple food by simply soaking it in water or milk. It's also commonly used to eat soup.
