Something For A Good Night Sleep 😊

Let's Talk About Help Before Sleeping...

Certainly, everybody needs help in one way or the other. What does it mean to help someone? It simply means coming into the aid or assistance of someone so as to let the person maximize his or her God-given destiny in life. I think one of the finest examples in the Bible is about the Hebrew word, “ezer” meaning “Help-Meet” used to describe Eve, the wife of Adam in Genesis Chapter 2 verse 18. Simply put, God intentionally created Eve to serve as a help companion to her husband so as to supply the needed strength where he is weak. Thus, a helper is someone who is out to complete what is incomplete in your dreams and visions. Much more, our God of hope desires to supply you with the needed help in every weak and vulnerable area of your life, family, and career. Amazingly, our God of Hope is always able and available to come to the aid of His obedient children (God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, Psalm 46: 1). In fact, the Bible makes it clear that any other type of help apart from God is fragile and limited (Give us help from trouble, for the help of man is useless, Psalm 60: 11). Moreover, the help of God is certain and to miss or belittle such a divine help is to settle down for less: (And the king said, “If the Lord does not help you, where can I find help for you? from the threshing floor or from the winepress?” (2 Kings 6: 27). So get ready for divine help for your destiny helpers will locate you today. Amen.

Let's Talk About Faith Little...

Faith Speaks Victory
In Mark 11:22-24, Jesus was teaching His disciples, and He told them, “Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith” (KJV).

According to Jesus, faith has two parts: believing and speaking. As He was describing faith, He didn’t just say, “This works for those who believe in their heart.” He said it works for “whosoever shall say…and shall not doubt in his heart.” Faith definitely requires believing, but it also involves speaking.

The mountain you are facing today needs to hear your voice, and it is not going to budge until you speak to it. Someone might say, ‘Well, I just believe that my mountain (my problem) comes from God. He sent it and is using it to keep me humble. He is using it to teach me or test me.” But, think about this: if God wanted you to have the mountain, why would Jesus have taught you how to move it?
