SUNDAY SERVICE
Ministering: Pst. Daniel Ugochukwu
Topic: Honour
Honour is more than respect.
It is the discerning, recognition, and celebration of value, skills and excellence
Who Should We Honour?
1. Honour All Men
Every person carries value because they are made in the image of God.
Honour is not based on tribe, status, or personality.
2. Honour Your Spouse (If Married)
Marriage thrives where honour flows.
Speaking well of one another privately and publicly is an expression of honour.
3. Honour Your Parents
You honour them not because you feel like it,
but because God commands it.
It is one of the few instructions that promises long life and prosperity.
4. Honour Those in Authority—Secular & Spiritual
Leaders, teachers, pastors, employers, and government officials.
Authority is God-ordained, and order flows where honour is present.
Scriptures: Romans 13:1, 1 Tim. 5:17, 1 Thess. 3:12
5. Honour God
Honour God with your life, your time, your obedience, and your worship.
Where God is honoured, His presence is manifest.
Honour is a seed.
If you can perceive value in people and in God, honour becomes natural.
