The Progenitor Of "That Same God" in the person of Senator Obong Bassey Albert Has been released from Prison by the order of the Appeal Court sitting in Rivers State.

Akwa Ibom State Government and their PDP Judges has successfully succeeded in making Senator Bassey Albert - OBA More Powerful and Popular and the best thing we did was going to Port Harcourt (Rivers State) of Wike instead of their Calabar (Cross River State).

I am happy that I stood by my brother and Friend (OBA).

The mark of a great man follows him everywhere. Senator Bassey Albert is a great man, he has shown capacity and demonstrated his willingness to serve the people.

Obong Bassey Albert left a truck full of food items for the Inmates after distributing 22 Trucks of rice to Akwa Ibomites from Prison irrespective of the political divide, with each truck of rice estimated at 26 Million Naira.

However, the Akwa Ibom State Government despite the hardship and high cost of foodstuffs cannot distribute rice to the people even with the 165 Billion Naira Derivation Funds that was released to the State by His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari.

Mkpat Enin Women Are Ready For OBA as Voter Education Intensifies

Wife of the Senator Obong Bassey Albert, the Gubernatorial flag bearer of Young Progressive Party (YPP) has hailed the women of Mkpat Enin Local Government Area on the level of preparedness towards the forth coming governorship race in Akwa Ibom State.

In an appreciation post via her official page, Pastor Imaobong Nkeiru Bassey Albet said, "We witnessed the mock elections carried out today by women of Mkpat Enin and I can say for certain that Mkpat Enin is ready for OBA.

Beyond the fanfare of campaigns, 500 women leaders were educated on easy identification of the YPP logo, where to vote on the ballot paper, the fingers to use for voting and advised to get their PVCs before the January 22 deadline, and this is to be replicated in their various Units".

She also commended Mrs. Ima-Abasi Ekanem Brown and the women leaders in Mkpat Enin for the beautiful efforts put together to achieve such results, and asked other Local Government Areas to take a clue from the women of Ikot Abasi.

Pastor Imaobong Bassey heaped prayers on the women and asked God's blessings on them.

WE CAN'T FORGET

This day in history... Its just difficult to forget...
How can we forget the young men and women that dared to make a bold statement...
No bows and arrows. No guns and weapons of war..
The only instrument of war they brought to the battlefield was the voice! The voice that cried 'Enough...No more...'

How can we wish away the days and nights these voices cried, sang, prayed and made shouts of redemption that rented the heavens. The voices that a thousand battalions of soldiers or artilleries of wars couldn't silence. Till date these voices thunder like lightning in the hearts of the cruel oppressors. Try as you can, you can't just silence it.

We cannot forget the unity and bonding never before seen nor experienced in a fragile country. All differences were jetisoned. For once the North kissed the south. The East hugged the West. The Middle Belt held the hands of the South South. For once the wordings of the first Anthem came to fruition...
"Though tribe and tongue may differ,
in brotherhood we stand"...

We cannot forget a band of young people so united against a common enemy. There was no religious nor ethnic bias. We saw unity in diversity.
The pen was ready to disgrace the sword.
The high and low among them came together with a unique purpose!
We saw men and women determined to take back their country no matter the cost!

We cannot wish away a band that was so organized without a structure, office or leader..
So articulated in thoughts and proceedings...
For once a group could operate without any account or financier.
There was no face to the movement. Yet, every action and move was determined by an unseen hand!

We cannot forget in a hurry the tears
The gunshots... The stampede.... The fallen... The dead bodies...
The blood stains on the flags they were holding....
We can't also forget the verdict...
We can't also forget the 'Japa' bug that came as a result of that imbroglio.
The exodus is massive... and sadly will continue for a long time..

Can they forget the number of people that were crushed?
Can they forget the cries of the mother's that list their loved ones?
Can they forget the harmless souls that were gunned down with their hands clutched to the 'green white green'?
Can they forget the teeming cries for a nation where not just peace... but also 'Justice' reigns.

Yes they can! But we CANT FORGET!.

Police Lecture Recruits On Social Media Policy

The Nigeria Police Force has lectured its recruit constables on the need to adhere to its social media policy, which prohibits sharing unapproved activities with the public.

The Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, who lectured over 700 recruits at the Police College, Ikeja, on Monday, reaffirmed the need to adopt Public Relations to boost policing strategies.

I know how you have deprived yourself of basic education just so your children can eat.. 🤗

Most times you are insulted, abused by people you are older than, but you take the insults all because of your wife and kids.. 🤗

Your parents look up to you for survival and they don't even care if you have a job or not, you just have to provide for the family.. 🐾🐾

You pay huge bride prices just to marry the woman you love and you end up taking care of her family, take care of her siblings and even train some of them.. 🤐🤐

How you do all these amazes me

Stay alive for your parents, your wife, your kids!! , and your loved ones in general.

AKWA IBOM STATE GOVERNMENT To ALLOCATE ESTATES TO SENIOR STATE AND FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS

While many citizens and residents are of the opinion that the Government of Akwa Ibom State, under the leadership of His Excellency, Mr. Udom Emmanuel has recently paid more attention to the political 'godfather-sonism' than the welfare of the people, His Excellency the Governor has proven them wrong.

The Governor has flagged off the Emily Estate project which is supervised by the Honourable Commissioner for Lands and Water Resources, Pastor Umo Eno.

The estate according to the state governor will be allocated to only senior state and federal government officials.

Pastor Umo Eno who is the supervisor of the project was recently picked by the Akwa Ibom State Governor as his preferred candidate for the 2023 Gubernatorial race, and has been referred to by many as "the anointed one".

One would ask, what are Governor Udom's affordable housing plans for other civil/public servants in the state who are not up to the rank of a senior officer.

Does the state government under his leadership care about the welfare of the common man?

With the recent actions of the Akwa Ibom State Government, it is quite clear, that the rich are on their way to getting richer while the poor gets poorer.
