Title: Biclausal Constructions in Ngwa-Igbo
Category: Language (November 2023)
Number of Pages: 236

“Biclausal Constructions in Ngwa-Igbo is a research work on syntax that shows that biclausal constructions are constructions that have double inflectional projections. The work gives a typology of biclausal constructions in the Ngwa dialect of Igbo, with an examination of the syntactic processes of thematization, ellipsis and conjunction on the identified Ngwa-Igbo biclausal constructions using the x-bar framework of structural representation.”

Title: Atiku; perspectives on a phenomenon
Category: Essays (November 2023)
Number of Pages: 132

“There was noticeable broadening of the scope of political discourse about Atiku Abubakar as soon as Tunde Olusunle formally joined the PDP presidential flagbearer’s
communications team. He focused on topical issues about his subject which added breadth and value to the entire gamut of political communication. Olusunle’s capacity for recollection and expression is quite remarkable. How he manages to produce articles on dilterent themes with tremendous quality ever so frequently, amazes me.”

Title: History and its True Colors
Category: Poetry (October 2023)
Number of Pages: 156
Price: N1500

“The nine unique and yet interrelated movements of the collection do not only memorialize the African past but also represent the journey to the past for its remains that still affect human experiences today. It is a past that has not fully passed because the past and the present are connected and capable of shaping the
future.
On a personal level, the poems reflect a journey within and without in the life experiences of the poet.”

Title: War and Kindness
Category: Fiction (October 2023)
Number of Pages: 241

“Having lived in poverty most of his life, a young boy is left alone in the school premises when the outside world is in chaos. All thoughts steer towards the negative, but Richard Maduku rather tells the magnetic story of how Peter Okelezo, who in the midst of the raging war, lived in a world of his own where he enjoys the good things of life. War and Kindness as the title implies, expresses the possibility of the coexistence of an oxymoron.”

This is a poetic re-telling of the amalgamation proclamation in colonial Nigerian politics. There is a fusion of artistic imagination with the simplicity of diction to bring to the fore the "series of subjective and objective factors" and the "politically heterogeneous nature" of Nigeria.

This may best be described as "a text book of life.” Life characterized by total submission to divine plans and calls to an academic career. The belief is that by creating us (man) in His own image and likeness, God gives each and every one of us all that it takes (though in varying proportions) to actualize our dreams and grow to great heights.

This poetry collection derives its title from the fact that it is composed of both sad and sweet songs in the poet's reflections on contrasting cycles of life and living back home, in her native land as well as her adopted country.
Hence the title, Nostalgia and Tears F'Orile, "FOrile", being a play on 'Orile' the Yoruba word for country or nation, and letter F* standing as an acronym for "fun" in Yoruba, and "for", the English equivalent.

“…Aileku has in this collection of poems treated a variegated tapestry of themes that cut across his experiences, events and places that are easily identified with, that we can feel and touch in lucid verses. With the Narratives of the Native, Aileku has added a fresh and refreshing voice to the gamut of contemporary Nigerian poetry.”

The story of Amafiniere revolves around the issue of marriage, especially polygamy and its myriad of intricacies, intrigues, distrust, filial disaffection, disharmony and disintegration. Moses Tokoni's decision to take a second wife transforms his peaceful family into a domestic war zone. With the first wife Obianuju shunned, scorned and successfully displaced by the second wife, Diana, the home front becomes unbearable. Caught in this domestic imbroglio of emotional and physical abuses, the children seek desperate means of escape as the young girls flee into the hands of different suitors in marriage for peace and comfort. However, Amafiniere isn't so lucky as she finds herself in a short marriage built on deceit, exploitation, frustration and betrayal.
Stella Toruemi uses family to tell a passionate story of a society's conflict with its own morals, values, religion and culture that seem to complicate our human condition.

A compelling African play that delves into the intricate world of politics within academia.
The play exposes the dark underbelly of the educational system, where personal gain and self-interest often overshadow the pursuit of knowledge and genuine academic progress.
“Sipping Coffee with my Boss" serves as a powerful critique of the political and social realities that can hinder the development and progress of education within African societies.
Ultimately, the book is a call to action, urging readers to challenge the prevailing norms and work towards reforming the academic system.
