Chelsea are interested in re-signing Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi.
The Blues are understood to have the England international on a list of defensive targets, despite selling him to Palace for £18m in 2021 - a sale which predates the club’s current Boehly-Clearlake ownership.
Palace have yet to receive official contact from Chelsea but Guehi’s representatives are aware of interest from his former club.

Chelsea could use Trevoh Chalobah as a makeweight in any deal for Marc Guehi.

However, it's understood Crystal Palace would prefer a straight cash agreement for their centre-back.

Chelsea has a sell-on clause of between 17-20 percent after selling Marc Guéhi to Crystal Palace in 2021.

It is unclear how that clause would be activated if Chelsea are the buying club.

Enzo Maresca is a huge fan of Marc Guehi.
