EXCITING NARRATIVES ABOUT LONGEVITY AND AGE REVERSAL FROM AMERICA – 4

“Altogether, Methuselah lived a total of 969 years, and then he died.” - Gen 5:27
“Altogether, Lamech lived a total of 777 years, and then he died.” - Gen 5:31

So if, by scriptural standards, a human could live almost 1000 years only a few thousand years ago, there is no reason whatsoever to doubt that we can achieve this feat today if only we become humble and work hard for a repeat of that performance. Sin, says the Bible, is the cause of death. If therefore, we eliminate sin today, which is quite possible, then we do not have to doubt the possibility of living beyond 1000 years today due to the advancement that is taking place as scientists explore nature with intensity and the support of the Almighty Creator who never planned that we should leave short lives to limit our chances of serving him on earth.

Records already exist to show that in this century, a man has lived up to 148 years old but that was before any scientific backing. So, with what is happening in America today, we should expect a longer lifespan extension following the meticulous research by our scientists whose work is based on the gifts of nature which are available to all who seek to improve the lives of humans without breaking any laws of nature. We have been told that sin is wrongdoing and wrongdoing is sin, which means that even the wrong choice of food to eat or the consumption of substances which are harmful is also a form of sin, then we are not limited in our description of sin as prescribed in the Scriptures.

A wrong interpretation of certain biblical verses has led many religious persons to make many wrong assumptions about the way to conduct their lives here on earth in line with the laws of nature.

My dear brother and sister, wake up today and live like a human being not just a mammal and work towards the redemption of mankind based on a factual understanding of the words of the Scriptures. As we do so, nature will definitely cooperate with us as we live within its dictates or limits.

What has necessitated this post is the fact that the advanced countries see their area of operation only as the world and hardly think of the entire world population at any given time. However, thanks to the internet which is available to every human being, we have been able to peep through the window to see what is happening in the advanced countries and can therefore benefit from them or even improve on their scientific research findings to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of the whole humanity. Remember the Pyramids of Egypt and what they represent, realizing that Egypt is an African country where the edifice representing the cradle of culture exist today, this alone is enough to make us proud to know that every country is capable of producing the type of scientist we have in the advanced countries and our achievements may even surpass those already ahead in the health span extension programs of today.

WHY I AM DEEPLY CONCERNED ABOUT THE DETERIORATING WORLD CONDITION TODAY

I started reading psychology about the year 1965 based on my passion for understanding the workings of the human mind. Since then, I have extended my interest to almost everything that has to do with the human mind. Some of the areas of my interest have been mainstream philosophy, metaphysics, comparative religion, sociology, and even political science. During my studies, it has come to my knowledge that the world is where it is today and is not being managed effectively because of our lack of commitment to the truth that can set us free from the enslaving chains of darkness holding us tightly. Evil is more attractive to humans than righteousness and so we shy away from that which can keep us from lofty values and ideals which evils make us see others as dangerous viruses to be destroyed or avoided. In many cases, animals with less intelligence do not treat their kind the way we human beings treat fellow human beings. Tribalism which encourages wanton destruction of others even without provocation is the order of the day even in the 21st century. Our uncontrolled propensity to develop and introduce new forms of weapons for the destruction of fellow humans is a clear sign that we are not in any way better than the barbars who occupied the world planet many centuries ago, whose brains were much less developed than the civilised humans of the 21st century.

The reasons for the dismal failure of the United Nations Organisation have been captured in my books published by the Amazon in 2022. In our characteristic way, we humans who are responsible for and can easily change the conditions of the world today see such efforts as nothing worthwhile and reject the ideas with the waive of the hand.

What I have said many times before and will perhaps continue to repeat myself, is that the world is where it is today due to the high level of insanity and character deficit that have been allowed to occupy our minds due to our carelessness or neglects of the values and virtues that make us really humans, that has been completely abandoned in favour of materialism, greed for power and selfishness in all its ramifications.

At 81+, it would always be my pleasure, or shall I say, disgust to talk about the poor condition of the world today and why evil has been allowed free reign in the minds of even the so-called sophisticated and advanced countries of the world. My disgust is based on my disappointment for having to do what I am doing now, while my pleasure is based on my optimism that we can always move our goalpost to where peace, harmony and happiness will spread freely to every part of the world to make our creator satisfied and happy that He has made a human to occupy this world and fulfil the purpose for which he has been made. May you find it possible to live by the values and ideals expressed in this post.

EXCITING NARRATIVES ABOUT LONGEVITY AND AGE REVERSAL FROM AMERICA

It is most surprising to me that the developing world does not seem to be aware about the extent to which science has gone in the area of lifespan extension which seems to debunk much of what is already known in the field of medicine.

Not long ago, news from various science research centres in America have presented us with new development that must startle the world about the possibility of extending lifespan far beyond what we now experience. Most of us are aware that some persons live up to 120 years going by medical records but anything above this limit may be strange to most people because of the high rate of premature mortality in the world today. The truth is that most of us instinctively want to live long, if not forever, unless we find life unbearable due to the trials and tribulations we are going through. This is what has led American scientists to embark on various research programs to unearth the secrets of longevity or what the ancients used to describe as The Alixir of Life.

Fortunately for us living today, there is much that is heart-warming from the high level of success already recorded in this popular research. The narratives in this connection have come from the USA where scientists are sufficiently comfortable to explore the unexplored areas of medical research to discover that through what is known as the Yamanaka Factor, science now has the secrets predicted in 1962 by a sagacious scientist. Follow me for the mind-blowing researchs being embarked upon in America today and the heart-warming discoveries that have been made to advance our civilisation beyond our expectations. It may sound unbelievable to most people that lifespan beyond 200 years is now quite possible. In fact, disease as well as death can be eradicated based on what already has been discovered.

Religion tells us that the penalty of death has been imposed on us because of SIN. If we examine critically what is meant by sin, we should be able to come to the conclusion that sin can be eliminated on earth to pave the way for eternal life even to our present mortal existence. Please do not get me wrong but do a little research yourself by going through the relevant literatures to find the truth that can set you free to expand your consciousness and the possibilities that are open to all normal humans.

Thanks for your interest and attention.

WHAT NIGERIANS NEED MOST IS MORE SANITY AND CHARACTER REFINEMENT

It was in 1965 that I became sufficiently acquainted with mind culture to recognise the need for finding a solution to what has made Nigeria a country bereft of peace, progress, and harmony. I was still a young boy of 21 years full of zeal to make a mark in a country that was fighting for enlightenment following independence in 1960. Then, there was this magazine, Psychology, printed in Britain but was also on sale in Nigeria when the Nigerian currency was at par with the Pound Sterling. So, the study of psychology became of outmost interest to me to the extent of making me use everything I had to ensure that I purchased a copy of this magazine and related publications that had to do with the study of human behaviour.

Today, I can boast of being an expert in the knowledge and application of psychology, philosophy, metaphysics and other disciplines related to the human mind which have engaged my attention more than the subjects of my study in school having to do with my profession as a teacher. As a result of my deep knowledge of human behaviour, it is not difficult for me to see that the basic problem with Nigeria that has escaped the attention of most citizens and foreigners alike has to do with our mind culture and the influence of the environment on every citizen of Nigeria which has made Nigerians a laughing stock and someone to be avoided in most parts of the world today. I say this with all sense of decency and responsibility that if we can tame fellow Nigerians into submission on the lofty values necessary for human development and progress, all the problems facing the country will simply melt into oblivion to change Nigeria into the most developed and progressive country in the world.

Unfortunately, almost every citizen of Nigeria is wild because our brains are not functioning at any point near peak efficiency but we see one another as an enemy who must be subdued to enable us survive without opposition or competition. We have become like little children whose wants must be satisfied at all costs with no consideration, whatsoever, for the feelings and needs of others apart for members of our family or tribe. We do not value the lives and property of others, only our own. This does not distinguish us much from the lower animals around us that sometimes seem to be more cultured than we are despite our higher nature and civilisation.

This piece is intended to stimulate the minds of our fellow Nigerians into probing ourselves for the truth that lies hidden in the experiences we are passing through today in Nigeria at a time we are very much like animals in the jungle where survival is the portion belonging only to the strongest. We have sank so deep into evil that most of us consider it a way of life despite the fact our ways of life have attracted us to most horrible experiences any human can face in this generation of scientific innovations that would soon change the world into something far different from anything we have ever witnessed. I now rest my case for any comments, observations, or queries that readers may be inclined to pass unto me and others.

The much talked about country-wide hunger protest due to take place between 1st and 10th August, can be said to be the peak of all the worries to which Nigerians have been subjected since 1960 but brought to the fore by the present government. It is indeed a manifestation of the law of retributive justice in a country whose foundation has been on shifting sand. No wonder every Nigerian is scared because of what may come during or after its wake. My prayer and hope is that the Almighty Supreme Intelligence will direct us to where the right values will be recognised and adopted for the benefit of Nigeria.

EXCITING MEDICAL BREAKTHROUGH FROM AMERICA

In continuing a previous post about medical breakthrough in America, there are now strong indications that it is now possible for human beings to live for at least 200 years, to reverse age and to program an accelerated development of tissues or even conquer disease as well as decide when to die as against what religion now teaches concerning life on earth and in eternity. This may sound like a fairy tale to many people but the scientists who are championing this development are sure of what they are saying to the extent of making a public show of the medical breakthrough. Those of us who are following the development with keen interest have put into practice what is becoming a general trend in America and other advanced countries and can say with certainty that they are on the right track because the principles being used to develop what they described as breakthrough are in line with the law of nature. Those who follow us would soon see details of what we have observed in the last two years of reading broadcasts by the American scientists. Some of the Nigerian medical professionals approached on this development disagree completely because they are not inclined to accept what is contrary to what they are practicing now because of professional pride. The truth is that medical books are being revised in America to reflect the new developments which indicate clearly that most of what was revealed about twenty or even ten years ago is now obsolete. That is what researchers tell us now with confidence and that for any medical professional to remain up-to-date, it is necessary to update his/her knowledge every five years.

My journalistic instinct is what has inclined me to follow medical developments in America and other places so as to educate or enlighten Nigerians because of the high level of medical accidents in our country today as a result of the use of methods that are not up to date or sufficient to cope with the health status of our citizens today who are living lifestyles that expose them to health risk following the introduction of new casinogenic preservatives in beverages and processed foods which our bodies are not able to digest sufficiently to nourish the body of our citizens especially in the cities. In fact, the new medical research has discovered that all behaviours are linked intimately to biochemical reactions in the body. What this means is that even crimes that are being committed today are a result of metabolic malfunction of the body. This is the type of knowledge that our medical professionals should acquire on daily basis to help them evolve safe practices in their professions. The continued use of old practices will expose our citizens to more dangers resulting in more corpses in our mortuaries now onwards.

More remain to be said about this sensitive topic but there is already enough to show that all health professionals should avail themselves of the information now flowing from advanced countries about the new medical breakthroughs which will surely change everything in the world very soon.

SUPREME COURT JUDGMENT ON LOCAL GOVERNMENT AUTONOMY IS GOOD BUT…

The recent supreme court ruling about the local government autonomy is a welcoming development and very much appreciated by most Nigerians. However, the corruption that usually take place at state level may simply be shifted to the local government level where poor accounting system may open the way for more corruption at the local government level making it possible for corrupt officials to rampage the local government funds. Thus, there is a need for the Accountant General to introduce new accounting measures to check the tendency of the local councils to be tempted or inclined towards syphoning local government funds into personal use. I am saying this from personal experience some decades ago when I had an opportunity to do a little contract at a local government office. Although the contract was not more than ₦50,000 and my interest was minimal. On the day I was to receive payment, the whole space outside the cash office was so besieged by a large number of persons unknown to me who wanted to have their own share from the few thousand naira I made from the contract. To cut the long story short, I ended up leaving the office with less than the amount I invested towards the ex*****on of the contract plus the money spent on fuelling my vehicle to the local government office about 120km from Kaduna to deliver the items ordered and to collect payment for the contract.

When I was in the service of Kaduna Polytechnic as a lecturer, a colleague who was a senior lecturer was vying for a position at the local government level. In explaining to another lecturer about why he wanted to work at the local government level, I overheard him saying that his poverty would end if he succeeded in getting the job at the local government level. I could not understand how a senior lecturer in Kaduna polytechnic who was earning more than a director in the Kaduna state service would choose a local government service and earn enough to end what he described as poverty despite his salary with its many allowances as a senior lecturer. He eventually got the job as a chairman of the local government and when on a visit to Kaduna, he came with a police es**rt and driven by a driver in the service of the local government, making a show of his success and visit to his former academic staff. But not long after that, we heard bad news about his death and obituary. The lesson that comes with this short story is that corruption is more rampant at local government level than at federal or even state government level where accounting systems do not create enough opportunities for financial malpractice.

Until the election of local government political office holders is conducted by INEC and not by the state government, the state governors’ control will deprive the local governments of their much needed funds to service their local governments.

In other words, we may not see enough change in the performance of local governments now that federal allocation go directly to them because the state governors can still exercise some control over the local governments through the manipulation of local government elections by state governors who may still continue to decide who will be chairmen and councillors of local governments.

HOW PRESIDENT TINUBU CAN RESOLVE NIGERIA’S POLITICAL CRISIS - 4

This is the last in the four posts making very strong suggestions to President Tinubu on a return to what was handed over to Nigeria at independence, with modifications. There is no doubt that Nigeria is wobbling under the pains of mismanagement of the country’s rich resources. So much has been wasted that it sounds to many of us as if Nigeria is the poorest country in the world against the rule of the thumb. This post is being written by a patriotic Nigerian who was an adult in 1960 when Nigeria became an independent nation with freedom to chart its future. But this freedom has been abused or misused to the disadvantage of at least 96% of Nigerians. It must be stopped forthwith otherwise the future still remains bleak.

The suggestions given here have been made on the basis of pure knowledge of what Nigeria actually is and would become in the near or distant future to save us from what may become of the country when we no longer have the ability or power to effect changes for the good of the country. All the suggestions have been made without any thought about parochial interest but on the fact that President Tinubu seems quite capable of doing something good for Nigeria if he actually intends to do that. We do not need a third eye to see the future because our politicians are not remorseful enough to even pretend that the laws and activities governing Nigeria today are definitely leading the country to destruction which will surely swallow even those contributing to the destruction.

The political structure being suggested here is merely a skeleton of what Nigeria should be but this structure is the shape Nigeria should take for permanent peace and progress based on the actualities in the country that has been charting its course since 1960 with apparent errors of judgment.

The situation in Nigeria is so bad today that the world is full of disbelief about how the country is still standing despite the colossal damage being done to the structure by Nigerians who see the country as a land brought from the moon for human habitation. We can go on and on talking about the woes and ills that have made Nigeria what it is today but prefer to leave the rest for another day. Finally, it must be emphasised that what is being given here is only a sketch which we believe Nigerians can develop to make the country one of the best in the world if we brush aside selfishness and other evils that have made the country so hostile to the majority of its citizens and foreigners alike. We are, therefore, pausing to give room for comments from fellow Nigerians who actually want to see the country as a conducive habitat for citizens and foreigners. Thank you to everyone who has taken some time to reflect on what is being projected here.

HOW PRESIDENT TINUBU CAN RESOLVE NIGERIA’S POLITICAL CRISIS -3

More about the return to regional government in Nigeria. It should be made plain that no part of Nigeria is to be forced to remain where it is not inclined to be placed against its wish. In other words, if any province is not happy with its placement, it should say so and a referendum can be a means by which to state where it wants to belong. If for example, the Yorubas in Kogi state are not interested in being a part of the west, they should not be forced to be there. This is democracy in action which must spell out the work of the government in 2027 for peace and progress to reign supreme in Nigeria.

Once more, it must be stated that the beauty of the new arrangement is the difficulty it would be for any part of Nigeria to dominate the affairs of governance in Nigeria. It will then be difficult for any part of the country to dominate in governance and in economics.

The 53 wise representatives of regional governments should be men and women of high integrity and sanity free from any corrupt tendencies because of their positions as representatives of the governments in the new setting being proposed here.

It is hoped that President Tinubu or someone close to him will link this post with any one proposing a similar setting in Nigeria to enable this government to come out with a grand plan that will favour all Nigerians for a better country that has been the dream of many Nigerians in the past and even now.

HOW PRESIDENT TINUBU CAN RESOLVE NIGERIA’S POLITICAL CRISIS – 2

Continuing our suggestion concerning Nigeria’s return to the 1960 structure with modifications, it is necessary to add that the Federal Capital which was not mentioned in the post should remain the capital with a governor and three provinces making the total number of regions to 6 and 53 administrators or any other suitable name. If that can be done, President Tinubu would stand out as the much expected messiah Nigeria has been expecting since independence. Furthermore, the structure will then be as follows:

1. Northern Region to be as follows: Kano, Zauzau, Sokoto, Katsina, Zamfara, Kebbi north, Borno north, Yobe north, Bauchi north, and Gombe north.
2. Middle Belt Region to be as follows: Plateau, Benue, Nassarawa, Gurara, Kogi, Niger, Taraba, Adamawa. The Middle Belt region will include southern Borno, southern Yobe, southern Bauchi, southern Kebbi, southern Gombe and part of Kwara.
3. Western Region to be as follows: Lagos, Oyo, Ondo, Ogun, Osun and part of Kwara.
4. Eastern Region to be as follows: Enugu, Imo, Anambra, Ebonyi, and Abia.
5. Niger Delta Region to be as follows: Rivers, Cross Rivers, Delta, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa and Edo
6. The Federal Capital Territory

We have said it and say it once more that if President Tinubu can achieve this feat, Nigeria will definitely become more stable, peaceful and productive in a manner many Nigerians may not appreciate now.

Over to you, President Tinubu.
Thank you, Your Excellency.

HOW PRESIDENT TINUBU CAN RESOLVE NIGERIA’S POLITICAL CRISIS

Since the first publication of Gurara Forum, a publication floated by my humble self, solutions proffered to resolve Nigeria’s political crisis have been flagrantly ignored by politicians despite the strongest reasons given for a drastic change in the way Nigeria has been managed or mismanaged. This had always been because the ruling political class then had been based in the northern part of the country because of the disproportionate sharing and unethical election or selection of candidates to political positions to occupy key positions in the political arena. The minorities were often ignored in favour of those from the so-called majority groups notably the Hausas, Igbos and Yorubas. The funny thing about it is that the minority population in Nigeria have always been much greater than the majority groups put together. This has created frustration and disappointment in most citizens of Nigeria and up to now, the situation has not gone through any radical change to make Nigeria a better country. So, during the state creation which had been handled almost by the military, the minorities have not enjoyed enough consideration to see the exercise of state creation as favourable to them. As a result of this unfortunate trend of event, the dissatisfaction generated by most Nigerians has always been the main cost of a feeling of not belonging which, in its wake, is the cause of lack of patriotism that is the major cause of our political crisis even today and may remain so as long as enough is not done to make all Nigerians feel a sense of belonging to one political unit.

The north which has, for most of the period of Nigeria’s existence as an independent nation, produced the leadership has used the minorities to give it power while those minorities so used are treated with disdain as third-class citizens which has not been sufficiently altered to make the minorities in the north develop a sense of belonging even when the military were in power because of the diabolical manipulation of the ruling classes in northern Nigeria.

This is only a kind of summary of what has been the major cause of Nigeria’s political crises. Nigerian historians who have all the facts and figures can supply enough evidence to validate what has been said here. But I am more or less a student of mind culture in all its ramifications basing my projections on the behavioural patterns of Nigerians today. These patterns have produced the kind of culture that has affected the country negatively in encouraging selfishness, nepotism, corruption, religious bigotry, terrorism and many other ills contributing to the low level of productivity and consequently, the economic woes of Nigeria.

In short, and to avoid verbosity, I have to say it very clearly once more that Nigeria today very badly needs a departure from the present presidential system of government in favour of what we had at independence. Also, Nigeria should ideally be made up of five regions of: the Northern Region, the Middle Belt Region, the Western Region, the Eastern Region and the Niger Delta Region; with five regional governors, provincial administrators and local councils. These may be either politicians or simply public servants. Politicians have to go through an election while the public servants are selected on the bases of technical or professional qualifications. Each region will elect ten high calibre representatives to represent the government at federal level making a total of 50 in all to decide on the laws that would govern the country. These must, of course, be elected to form the nucleus of our political representatives. The prime minister should be elected through the votes of all Nigerians. Any other modifications of these suggestions must not ignore that which has been presented here if we want to get the best result. It is my prayer and hope that President Tinubu would have access to this document as the basis of Nigeria’s political future from 2027. What I have given here is not meant to be the final working document for the future but is only a suggestion that would take care of the political crisis and consequently, economic doom that has characterised the life of Nigeria since October 1, 1960.
