"We are here this morning as a church, to pray for the governor of Kwara State, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq. It is sure he is a father to all. He is not dealing with people based on party line. He is a father to PDP, he is a father to APC. He is a father to Muslim and a father to non-Muslim. He is a father to both indigen and non-indigen. That is why during the palliative, he sheared it without discrimination. Based on that, we are going pray that may God protect him and his family, guide him through"

OKADA RIDERS REFUTES BESIEGING STATE ASSEMBLY
. says the Association's visit to hallowed chamber was a solidarity visit
The State president of National Association of Cooperative Transporters (NACT) has repudiated the claim that the association besieged the state assembly to protest against the administration of governor Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq.
Recall that a video believed to have emanated from opposition agents was circulated on social media platforms on Tuesday, claiming to have been a protest by the Association on the passage of locan government amendment Bill.
The State president, Mallam Yunusa Alawiye who led members of the association on a solidarity visit to the office of the General Manager of Kwara State Social Investment Programme (KWASSIP), Dr Tejidini Abdulwasiu Olayinka on Friday said the Association only went to the State Assembly Chamber to express her support to the AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq-led Administration, especially on his various people-oriented programs to Kwarans, which has brought about multi-sectoral development in the state. But the solidarity visit was overturned by opposition agents to mean a protest.
While dissociating the Association from the purported besiege, Mall Yunusa emphasizes that the Association will never be ungrateful to a governor who prioritises the welfare, saying the purported protest was nothing but a figment of imagination from opposition agents in the state.
He said, "we are shocked by a video clip circulated on social media few days ago claiming to have emanated from NACT. This is to emphatically state that we are not party to such cheap propaganda that may have emanated from opposition agents. Our visit to the state Assembly Chamber on Tuesday was to send our sincere appreciation to the governor, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq through the leadership of the Assembly",
In his contribution, the President of NACT Joint Association, Mallam Wahab Salman Ọmọerin said the governor has always been magnanimous to them

Following the recently published news credited to an online media platform, informant24/7 with the caption "KWARA GOVT RENOVATED STADIUM’S INDOOR SPORTS HALL WITH N72 MILLION ON RECORD. NOTHING ON GROUND TO SHOW FOR IT" where the state government under the leadership of Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq was alleged not to have done any renovation to that effect, #ActualizationTeam paid a visit to the Chairman Sport Commission, Alhaji Bola Magaji who took us round the renovated facilities. They include: the Squash hall, Volleyball Court, Basketball court and swimming pool.
While responding to our questions, Alhaji Bola stated that there was never a time he granted an interview and said that the government released #72mn for the renovation of "Indoor Sport Hall". Rather, the said fund was spent for the renovation of Squash Hall, Volleyball Court, Basketball courts and that of swimming pool. Except the swimming pool which is currently 97% complete, the three other facilities have been completed and opened for use.
"i was surprised when I read through some news on social social media platforms that Seventy two million naira (#72mn) was released for the renovation of 'Indoor Sport Hall'. There was nothing like that, Alhaji Bola State.
He continues: "To the best of my knowledge, there was no memo to his Excellency, for renovation of indoor Sport hall, and any memo regarding anything to be done inside this stadium must come through my office. So, nobody wrote for renovation of indoor sport hall and no money released for the renovation".
"when I came onboard as Chairman of the Commission last year, I inherited some ongoing projects. These include the swimming pool which is now 97% complete, the volleyball and basketball courts have been completed, and
