WHY GOVERNOR ALIA WON BEST GOVERNOR OF 2023.
In the news recently it has been reported the governor of Benue state, Governor Rev. Fr. Hycienth Lormem Alia won the Leadership Newspaper Award for the best governor in the country.
The following are were the reasons for that award:
1. Produdence: blocking wastage and fighting corruption to a stand still since assumption of office.
2. Downpour of transformative: there have achievements such as renovations of the government house, building flyovers and installation of street lights among development ls which ignited hope, improved livelihoods and rekindle the spirit of optimism among the people of Benue
3. Concern for Farming: delivery of fertilizer to farmers when as at when due
4. promt payment of salaries, pensions and gratuities and eradication of ghost workers.
5. New retirement age for primary and secondary school teachers.
6. Recovery of numerous looted vehicles, tens of hectares of lands, and numerous landed properties from the previous admistrations
7. Training of 10,000 Benue Youths in ICT
8. Monthly allowances for National Youth Co**se (NYSC) of 25,000 and 100,000 for NYSC doctoers serving in the state.
9. Ongoing construction of roads within Benue metropolis measuring to 15.39 kilometres
10. Donation of 100 buses to the Benue Links Transport Company to cushion the effect of fuel subsidy removal.

GOV ALIA'S OFFENCE TO BENUE

The offenses of His Excellency Rev Fr Dr Hyacinth Iormem Alia of Benue state to the enemies of the state who are coined stakeholders are his strive to emancipate the state from the bo***ge the so-called stakeholders have put the state in over the years

Worldwide the developmental strides of the Rev gentleman are so glaring even to the blind. Having been recognized for an award of best performing governor 2023 by the LEADERSHIP NEWSPAPER is a clear indication that he did not offend anyone, his only sin is that he put the suffering masses first by refusing to share the state resource with the microscopic few known as stakeholders.

Have they been he succumbed to their empty threats, we would have been hearing things like; PAUCITY OF FUNDS; DWINDLING ECONOMY; GHOST WORKERS; EVERY MONTH SCREENING FOR WORKS; PENSIONERS ARE DEATH PEOPLE; WE NEED 30BILLION DOLLARS LOAN TO PAY SALARIES, PENSIONS AND CARRY OUT PROJECTS etc.

But here he is paying salaries and pensions without borrowing, constructing roads, installing street lights, renovating government properties and reconnecting them to 33KV power source, recruiting workers at the teaching hospital to solve the man power problem that has existed there since it's inception, constructing fly overs and bypass in the state which are the first ever in the state, granting the accumulated promotion for the primary school teachers in the state, motivating security personnel to tackle the age long security challenges in the state thereby granting us relative peace etc. All within a year without blowing trumpet

It is however clear that the enemy will not be happy with what His Excellency is doing because the enemy's mission is to kill, steal and destroy.

Our dear governor, please keep up the good work that you are doing, the world is watching and the masses who granted you the opportunity to lead them are solemnly behind you.
