Below newspaper advertorial was what brought about the creation of "Ol'ori Omo'ba Akilę Ijębu".

The Olisa of Ijebu-ode, Alaiyeluwa(Oba) Adesubomi Henry Oshifowokan had conferred on Late Otunba Subomi Balogun the title of Otunba Tunwase of Ijebu-ode. Awujalę Sikiru Adetona was rattled by the Chieftaincy conferment on the former and subsequently placed the advertorial, so as rubbish the honour done of late Otunba Şubomi by casting needless and unfounded disclaimer, and such an extent that the recipient was walked out of the venue where Awujalę Sikiru Adetona held his Silver Jubilee anniversary of coronation!

As a matter of genuine historical assertions, it is the inalienable royal right of the OLISA of Ijebu-Ode to confer any worthy indigene both traditional and honourary titles, as seen of Otunba Tunwase of Ijebu-ode on 'Subomi Balogun! It must be stated that the affairs of Ijebu-ode and suburbs, as well as the inhabitants are saddled under the royal authority of the OLISA of Ijębu-Ode.

It was in the efforts to settle the dispute between Awujalę Sikiru Adetona and Otunba Şubomi Balogun that the likes of Otunba Christopher Ogunbanjo, that sold the idea of the honourary title of Olori Omo'ba of Akilę Akilę Ijębu to Awujale Sikiru Adetona an idea he promptly jumped at. That was what brought about the title of Olori Omo'ba of Akilę Ijębu till date.

The title of Ol'ori Omo'ba have been of no traditional value and precedence in our history as a people and it is of the fourth class of honorary titles, after the over bloated Otunbaship (third class), that are now financial contributors and "advisers" to Awujalę Sikiru Adetona, but reverence by the majority of our people due to their lack of genuine historical disposition.

In the usual manners of Awujalę Sikiru Adetona, he is always disposed to the idea of "honouring rich men with lesser titles, such that the recipient(s) would use his wealth to bring and elevate the title(s)! While it is (to him) an aberration of unforgivable sin to have poor people decorated with bigger title(s), if even it is his/her right, as such title would be brought to disrepute with his poor purse! Suffice to say titles and positions are the exclusive rights of fat purse carriers!
Discernible mindsets should ask him(Awujalę Sikiru Adetona) how rich he was when he was made Awujalę?

OGBAGBA COURT IJEBU-ODE NIGERIA IN THE MATTER OF OTUNBA TUNWASE OF IJEBU-ODE TITLE (MR SUBOMI ASHIRU BALOGUN

My attention has been invited to the publication in the daily times of December 4, 1982 in which one Mr Subomi Ashiru Balogun aleged inter-Alia that I conferred on him the chieftaincy title at Otunba Tunwase Ijebu-Ode and OR that his appointment of such office by Tunwase family (One of the four Awujale Ruling families of Ijebu-Ode) was approved by me.

I have great affection for Mr.Subomi Ashiru Balogun. I often shared in his joys and also associated myself with his progress.of course, I observe with pleasure that Mr.Subomi Ashiru Balogun has been endeavoring lately and within his limit to identify himself with our aspirations and for which I gave him the deserved encouragement. But at no time did I confer any chieftaincy title on him OR approve his appointment to any chieftaincy.

While I do not wish to interfere with anyone’s merry-making, it is my responsibility to point out that Mr. Subomi Ashiru Balogun’s claims to any chieftaincy title is a gross violation of our custom and tradition.

However, it is to common knowledge of every true citizen of Ijebu and Ijebu-Ode in particular.

(1) *That no chief/chiefs has the right to confer any title on any citizen. It is only an OBA that has such traditional right.*

(2) That Otunba Tunwase title does not exist anywhere in our history.

(3) That no Awujale ruling Family repeat from nominating a candidate/candidates for the office of Awujale when there is a vacancy, has the right of power to nominate or appoint anyone from amongst themselves or from any-where for that matter to any chieftaincy.

(4) That no member or members of the royal families have the right to install or take part in any installation of a chief.

(5) That it is only a member of the Royal family that can receive the traditional and honorary title of an ‘OTUNBA’ And that one Pa Sansi Alawo of Imupa, Ijebu-Ode through whom Mr. Subomi Ashiru Balogun claimed his connection with the Awujale Rulling Family ( Tunwase Family) was never a member of that family but an in-law to Tunwase.

By Ijebu tradition, it is requisite that the Awujale should consult his chiefs before any appointment or confernent. Also,there are traditional obligations to be fulfilled prior to any appointment or conferment. Therefore, I presume Mr.Subomi Ashiru Balogun will please appreciate the amount of embarrassment he has caused me and my chiefs.

In conclusion, I wish to appeal to Mr. Subomi Ashiru Balogun to please in the name of Allah and in the spirit of Obanta desist from parading himself as a chief OR at least keep my name out of it all.

On the 6th of september 1985, LSSES Edith explained to Papa Oshoffa the cold gesture she received from some elders of the church when she went to ketu the previous day (Day 5) to inform the elders about Papa's health and how angry they reacted because they felt she was hiding Papa from them.

Then Papa asked her to sit down and clearly said to her

"Edith, you are a princess in the CCC. Whatever you do, stand by it and nothing will happen to you"

Papa now requested for a TAPE RECORDER so as to send a heart relieving message to the church elders and all Celestians at large.

In the tape recording, papa started his speech by singing three songs which are

OJO AYO LOJO ONI JE

After singing, Papa assured them of his good health, promised to visit them at the appointed time and also said some "other things".

On the same day, Evangelist Adenegan and his wife visited the Hospital in their presence, Papa asked his son (Ebenezer); am going home, will you accompany me?

Ebenezer response ; Papa, you can't go yet, we have to wait for the doctor.

Papa turned to Edith asking the same question and she Edith gave similar response, Papa now said;

"Let us leave it as it had been said".

Evang. Adenegan looked at Ebenezer and all of them looked at Papa.

Day 2, Sleep Well Papa🌈🕊
On Monday 2nd September 1985, at exactly 9:00am, Papa was taken to First Shardack Hospital, Ilupeju just to prevent the crowd from seen him and Papa was accompanied by two of his children Ebenezer Oshoffa and Edith Oshoffa. The children decided to keep Papa whereabouts secret, at the hospital, Papa became a close friend to all the staffs particularly Doctor Frank Akindolie, the CMD of the hospital, who eventually ask Papa not to pay for his treatment throughout his stay in the hospital, but later in the day, Papa Oshoffa asked about the PA Abiassi, Mac and Thomas health, and Papa oshoffa told him that all of them are fine and there are all receiving treatment in Ibadan, while Expedit his driver, his at Labi Hospital Ilupeju, Lagos.
