Today is International Friendship Day!
Who was your first-ever friend, and do you still keep in touch?

About my very first friend.
I and my first friend met back in 2006 when I started junior secondary school, It was my first day, and I sat on the empty seat in the middle of the class.

But some girls warned me that the owner of the seat is a no-nonsense girl and I should just stand up now if I don't want wahala.

I contemplated leaving the seat cos I no fit fight. if you see me that time ehn, slim like cane.

If Wind blow me, I fit fall 😅

But a teacher was already in the class, so I sat down and said when she comes I will stand up.

The No-Nonsense girl Folakemi eventually came, surprisingly, she shared the desk with me and from that moment, our friendship blossomed, we read novels together, fantasized about the kinda boys we like😅, joined cultural dance rehearsals, visited each other, We were inseparable.

Oya let me gist you about one time I enter trouble in school
I don't know if anybody remembers this game from childhood 'FLAMES" F is for Friends, L for Lovers, A for (I can't remember), M for married, E for Enemies and S for Soulmates. I got into trouble for matchmaking people's names on the Game paper oo. I was writing the names of the big girls in the class, pairing them with the big boys and teachers, and checking if they were compatible. I don start this love Minister thing from small but I never get clarity that time 😂😂.

Well, Somebody saw the paper on the floor and decided to show everybody. My people, Dem wan beat me ooo, na Folakemi save me.

Why am I sharing this story?
