THE LORD SHALL FIGHT FOR YOU AND YOU SHALL HOLD YOUR PEACE. EXODUS 14:14, KJV.
Beloved, now more than ever before, we are confronted with circumstances/situations that challenge our faith in the Lord God Almighty through christ Jesus.
Despite all the promises of God and the power of God to deliver us which we have read in the Bible yet we compromise because of the fear of death and or the loss of position and material things.
We should understand that God has played his role by declaring his word, it's now left for us to agree with him by faith and actualize the promises. The most common weapon that the enemy of our faith use against us is FEAR.
Permit me to say that when fear comes in, faith flies out through the window.
Is not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt, saying, let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians than that we should die in the wilderness. EXODUS 14:12, KJV.
Our God is not the God of abandoned projects, when he starts a thing, he will surely accomplish it. From the scripture above, we understand that the children of Israel despite the great wonders they have seen in Egypt, which the Almighty did through Moses, became scared when confronted with a hard situation . The Egyptian army behind them and the red sea ahead of them. Anyone else could have, considering the fact that they could not match the Egyptian army, might for might.
Here lies the difference between the believers and none believers, they are the chosen race buttheyfailed to believe God'sword. . When we are confronted with terrible situations we should not forget who we are in the Lord.
And they overcome him (satan) by the blood of the lamb, and by the word of their testimony, and they love not their lives unto death. Revelation 12:11, KJV.
A lot of us has read or heard the scripture over and over again but we do not key into it. Not until we fully understand and key into it that we will reap the benefits of this scripture.
What testimony ? We will testify That God is able to deliver us, he is mighty, alpha and omega, all powerful. Aside this we should not be afraid even when our lives is a stake.
Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego answered and said to the king O Nebuchadnezzar we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us out of thine hand O King. But if not be it known unto thee O King that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up. Daniel 3:16-18, KJV.
Though their answer angered the king but the Almighty God delivered them from the furry furnace. Why ? Because they love not their lives unto death. Today we are confronted by physical and spiritual situations like this, with absolute faith in God, he will send his angels to do the battle while we hold our peace let's take our stand with God and see his mighty deliverance. I pray the Almighty through the Holy spirit will empower us in christ Jesus. Amen.
