WHO THE CAP FIT: Seven contestant make the final list of Ohinoyi of Ebiraland.
As the Kogi state Government set to Announce the new Ohinoyi of Ebiraland from seventy contestant screened by the committee saddled with the responsibility to fill the vacant seat of late Ado Ibrahim as announce by the committee chairman.
Speaking to News Agency Of Nigeria (NAN) the secretary of the ohinoyi council Yunusa Sule confirm this in Lokoja on Sunday.
HRH Alhaji Isa Musa-Achuja, Ohi of Eganyi submitted names of seven contestant from the seventy people that earlier show interests after diligently screened the contestant he added.
HRH Yunusa Sule announce the names of the seven finalist which include former Kogi State Deputy Governor, Philip Salawu; former clerk of Nigeria National Assembly, Sani Omolori and Yusuf Amuda.
Others are Momoh Shaibu, Ibrahim Onuwe Abdulmalik, Ahmad Anaje, and Ahmed Jimoh.
The secretary added that the Governor commend the due diligence of the committee.
Gov. Yahaya Bello, will announce the new Ohinoyi in a week time.
Gov. Bello had a meeting with the seven selected candidate which one of them will emerge as the new Ohinoyi. He advice them to support whoever was named as the Ohinoyi and also caution them on utterance to prevent the use of instigative words
The seven shortlisted are from the five royal house in Ebiraland which include Okewe, Ohema, Erika, Aganiye and Adavi.
