We are screening a short film, The Nigerian Dream, produced by poet, author and filmmaker, Sage Hassan. And of course, we're going to be talking about with an excellent panel of Nigerian creatives!

Moderating the conversation is Richard Ali: Richard Ali, lawyer, author and poet, is the Managing Editor of Jalada Africa. Richard held a public policy shaping role in Nigeria and presently runs Engaging Borders SRD, an Open Society-funded PCVE project which uses literature and the arts to address violent extremism in the Sahel.

Ashley Godpikin is a writer and teacher who works in film. She teaches creative writing, the English language and Nigerian Pidgin English.

Bash Amuneni is one of Africa's foremost performance poets. In 2020, he was listed amongst the 100 most influential creatives in Nigeria. He was recently recognised by the UK government as a global talent in poetry. Bash is also an architect, brand communication strategist and creative consultant to the World Intellectual Property Organization Nigeria Office.

Linda Obasi is an actor, producer and entrepreneur. She is the founder and CEO of EnyiMedia which launched EnyiCast, Nigeria's first talent casting and staffing application. She is currently in post-production of a wellness docuseries, The Fufu Diet.
