TIPS FOR BOUNTIFUL HARVEST, MUCH MORE MAIZE.
Steps
* Prepare the land using Roundup to kill the weeds to the root and harrow for good soil bed.
* Seed sowing and planting: proceed to plant the maize for a recommended spacing of 75cm by 25cm and at 1 seed per hole
* Apply Lagoon at 500ml per hectare (50ml/16litres of knapsack sprayer) immediately after planting or not more than two days after planting to prevent emergence or growth of weeds for eight weeks
* Check out for the presence of fall army worm (FAW) or any other insect and if detected, apply a combination of Belt expert and Decis
* Ensure to adequately fertilize the plants at recommended rates ( two weeks after planting and 4 weeks after first application)
