Few days ago we brought you reports on the happening at Ochigba community occasioned by the activities of illegal oil bunkering which led to the killing of a military personnel as alleged.
We intimated the general public of the damages occasioned to the paramount ruler of Ochigba Community where his house was burnt down and properties carted away.
While we await an official press statement from the palace of the paramount ruler King Odum, we give you an update of our recent findings.
In our investigations, we have discovered that Obodo Orlu-Ben popularly known and addressed as General VIP, a former agitator who has denounced cultism was also badly affected as his building was totally burnt down by men of the Nigerian Army.
Sources said the soldiers suspected that he (VIP) led the squad (not confirmed yet) hence burnt his house while other sources from Ochigba Community ( VIP's village) said the young man is innocent of the accused crime.
Upata Social Media Crew while calling for total peace and cease fire in all parties are still observing and investigating the root cause of the whole bruhaha.
While we encourage relevant security agencies to properly investigate this matter and bring all culprits to face the wrath of the law.
