But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled; but sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ. For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing. For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
1 Peter 3:14‭-‬18 KJV

He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
Isaiah 53:7 KJV

For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully. For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God. For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously: who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
1 Peter 2:19‭-‬24 KJV

Do you know that it is a high calling if the will be so to suffer for well doing?
Yes
It is towing the path that Christ trod while He walked this earth.
He was despised, he was threatened, he was rejected,......he suffered.
To what end was this suffering? That He might bring us to God.

When we suffer for righteousness sake we are privileged. We have been chosen by God to bring many to God.

But while we go through this suffering what should be our attitude?

It says to:
Sanctify The Lord God in our hearts.
To keep a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you as an evildoer, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.

To refrain our tongues from evil.
To hate evil and to do good

We should not render evil for evil but on the contrary we must bless those who persecute us, knowing we are called unto this life to the end that we should inherit a blessing.

WITCHCRAFT AND INSECURITY

And Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, and withal how he had slain all the prophets with the sword. Then Jezebel sent a messenger unto Elijah, saying, So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I make not thy life as the life of one of them by to morrow about this time. And when he saw that, he arose, and went for his life, and came to Beer–sheba, which belongeth to Judah, and left his servant there. But he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree: and he requested for himself that he might die; and said, It is enough; now, O Lord , take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers. And as he lay and slept under a juniper tree, behold, then an angel touched him, and said unto him, Arise and eat. And he looked, and, behold, there was a cake baken on the coals, and a cruse of water at his head. And he did eat and drink, and laid him down again. And the angel of the Lord came again the second time, and touched him, and said, Arise and eat; because the journey is too great for thee. And he arose, and did eat and drink, and went in the strength of that meat forty days and forty nights unto Horeb the mount of God. And he came thither unto a cave, and lodged there; and, behold, the word of the Lord came to him, and he said unto him, What doest thou here, Elijah? And he said, I have been very zealous for the Lord God of hosts: for the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.
1 Kings 19:1‭-‬10 KJV

Jezebel had succeeded in slaying several of the true prophets of God and cutting off their voices but here was Elijah, a man with the fire of God in his bones a man of a definite walk with God (you hear it in his words, he would always say ".......God before whom I stand" a man of prayer.
James the Lord's brother in teaching about prayer referred to him in the 5th chapter of his epistle....

Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.
James 5:16‭-‬18 KJV

Elijah literally prayed down the rain after a severe famine.

One would think that with this kind of profile you could never be taken down by anything.....yes, that is the way it was designed to be but alas, the prophet of God gave in at his weakest hour.

It was not the sword of Jezebel's assailants that killed Elijah.
Elijah was translated by the fear that he ALLOWED into his spirit that was projected by Jezebel's WORDS.

Satan cannot steal, kill or destroy anything that belongs to you except you allow him by opening the door of your mind and your heart accepting lies into your thoughts which in turn lead to fear. The devil knows this and you must too.
That is why he loves to keep the children of God in ignorance.....in ignorance of the truth of God's word.

One of the hallmarks of witchcraft is to make insecure and fearful its victim by INTIMIDATION before it actually attacks to steal, to kill and to destroy.

What are you afraid of? Afraid that someone else will take the place that you have been so graciously given?
Afraid that some other woman will sn**ch away your husband or that some other man will steal your wife's affection with charms?
What are you afraid of?.............or should I rather say whom are you afraid of?
Afraid that that company, organisation, or ministry that you have so laboured on for all these years will be taken over by some other person?
What are you afraid of?

First and undisputed......FEAR IS OF THE DEVIL!

Since we were children, we were taught at the Sunday school that the phrase "Fear not" appears 365 times in the entire Bible indicating that God gives us an assurance of faith every single day of the year.
Wow! That's huge and that is awesome!

Insecurity defined as the anxiety you experience when you feel vulnerable and insecure. On the other hand, to be vulnerable is to be defenceless, endangered, indefensible, unguarded, penetrable and conquerable.

Now I ask.......what is a child of God doing with ACCEPTING feelings and thoughts that are of this nature?

Never forget that information comes at you dear believer everyday from the senses....the eye gates, the ear gates, the mouth gates and the gates of your feelings right into your soul, to be processed by your mind and then you take action by releasing your will.

It is the devil's favourite past time to threaten the believer by witchcraft unto fear.
He loves and relishes nothing more than to watch the believer squirm in fear.
He threatens your health, your job, your marriage, etc.
Why would you feed the devil's delight?

In the same vein, anyone who threatens the safety and security of other people, whether those people are believers or not by their words, by actions and by projected thoughts is working directly for the enemy.

Jezebel threatened to kill Elijah. Her mission was to put fear into him and eventually to kill him.
The thoughts of a man or woman is surely revealed by their words and their actions.

Satan loves to destroy every good thing that is built by children of God.
But how does he go about doing this?
By sowing fearful thoughts and words either directly to the person or spoken out through other people......many times even through fellow believers.
When these thoughts, words or actions in-turn are ACCEPTED, voila! the deed of that evil one is accomplished.

Let me show you two examples from The Word of God.........

From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day. Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee. But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men. Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.
Matthew 16:21‭-‬27 KJV

What happened here is so phenomenal.
The reason for which Christ came was about to be realised......the ministry that He had been building for three and a half years was about to reach its high point.....its peak. The Redemption of man was about to be realised.....was about to be finished.....then came the devil, as he is wont to do.....just as his custom is, he carefully times the period of his attack and moves in craftily and stealthily.
Just moments, mere moments after Peter had just received a phenomenal revelation about the person of Christ, he (the devil) stole the chance to quickly speak through him to Jesus.
What do you think his words were sent to infuse and impart into Jesus Christ our Lord? FEAR.
The fear of going to the cross, the fear of the suffering to come, the fear of dying.

Child of God, make no mistake about it.....WORDS CARRY SPIRITS.
Every word spoken to you delivers something into your spirit......ministers something into your spirit......literally SOWS something into your spirit.

This is the reason that now and then in the gospels, we see our Lord Jesus Christ instructing His own to.....TAKE HEED HOW YOU HEAR.

Be careful what you allow into your ear gates and be careful the thoughts that you permit and accept into your mind.

Look at another classical case in the story of Nehemiah, a man chosen by God to rebuild the broken down walls of Jerusalem.

When the enemies of Israel (and of note in this partucular story were two men inspired by the spirit of witchcraft by name Sanballat and Tobiah) heard that the broken down walls of Jerusalem were going to be rebuilt their first reaction was that THEY WERE GRIEVED.

When Sanballat the Horonite, and Tobiah the servant, the Ammonite, heard of it, it grieved them exceedingly that there was come a man to seek the welfare of the children of Israel.
Nehemiah 2:10 KJV

Why would a good cause.....seeking the welfare of Jews displaced by war grieve the heart of men?
But that is one of the ways witchcraft operates.
Witchcraft loves to see people in captivity and bo***ge and to have them kept oppressed and bound.

The Bible says "..........but when Sanballat the Horonite, and Tobiah the servant, the Ammonite, and Geshem the Arabian, heard it, THEY LAUGHED US TO SCORN, AND DESPISED US, AND SAID, What is this thing that ye do? will ye rebel against the king?....."

What many Christians do not know is that when a man or woman begins to ridicule and make jest of that which is purely of God and backed up by His power, those people are actually AFRAID of the ones that they are ridiculing.

Have you taken on a worthy cause inspired and commissioned by God following due process and you are currently being ridiculed? Rejoice and be confident in God! that will be a sure sign to your enemies that you will not be moved.

Let's look again at the events that followed......

But it came to pass, that when Sanballat heard that we builded the wall, he was wroth, and took great indignation, and mocked the Jews. And he spake before his brethren and the army of Samaria, and said, What do these feeble Jews? will they fortify themselves? will they sacrifice? will they make an end in a day? will they revive the stones out of the heaps of the rubbish which are burned? Now Tobiah the Ammonite was by him, and he said, Even that which they build, if a fox go up, he shall even break down their stone wall. Hear, O our God; for we are despised: and turn their reproach upon their own head, and give them for a prey in the land of captivity: And cover not their iniquity, and let not their sin be blotted out from before thee: for they have provoked thee to anger before the builders. So built we the wall; and all the wall was joined together unto the half thereof: for the people had a mind to work.
Nehemiah 4:1‭-‬6 KJV

Their next and third course of action was to CONSPIRE TOGETHER TO HINDER the Work...........

But it came to pass, that when Sanballat, and Tobiah, and the Arabians, and the Ammonites, and the Ashdodites, heard that the walls of Jerusalem were made up, and that the breaches began to be stopped, then they were very wroth, And conspired all of them together to come and to fight against Jerusalem, and to hinder it.
Nehemiah 4:7‭-‬8 KJV

No man contends with that which is approved by God and prevails, for inadvertently they are contending against God Himself.

Again driven by the devil they would not let up, they moved on to LURE/SEDUCE HIM OVER TO THEM WITH AN INVITATION HOPING TO KILL HIM as soon as he arrived.

Witchcraft will seek to attack even unto death when the cause that you are pursuing for The Lord is undoubtedly of God. An effort in futility that usually already is defeated even before it begins.

Their 5th scheme in attempting to stop by witchcraft the work that Nehemiah had been given by God was to TERRORIZE BY LIES. To actually INTIMIDATE God's servant hoping that he would be afraid and that he would give up.

Then sent Sanballat his servant unto me in like manner the fifth time with an open letter in his hand; Wherein was written, It is reported among the heathen, and Gashmu saith it, that thou and the Jews think to rebel: for which cause thou buildest the wall, that thou mayest be their king, according to these words. And thou hast also appointed prophets to preach of thee at Jerusalem, saying, There is a king in Judah: and now shall it be reported to the king according to these words. Come now therefore, and let us take counsel together. Then I sent unto him, saying, There are no such things done as thou sayest, but thou feignest them out of thine own heart.
Nehemiah 6:5‭-‬8 KJV

They wanted to lure Nehemiah into defending his reputation against the LIES THAT THEY HAD CONCOCTED AGAINST HIM.

Child of God you need not honour attempts like this with your attention.
Rest in the fact that there is a God who vindicates, who exposes every lie told against His own and that God is your God......and He is your Father.

At this point Nehemiah knew that they were actually trying to put fear into him, to make him insecure and vulnerable for an attack against him.

Listen to what he said right after this.......

For they all made us afraid, saying, Their hands shall be weakened from the work, that it be not done. Now therefore, O God, strengthen my hands.
Nehemiah 6:5‭-‬6‭, ‬9 KJV

For they all wanted to frighten us, thinking, “They will become discouraged with the work and it will not be done.” But now, [O God,] strengthen my hands.
NEHEMIAH 6:9 AMP

At this point what did Nehemiah do?
He prayed for strength. There is a lot of wisdom in this.
Could the story have been different if Elijah had prayed for strength instead of asking that The Lord to take his life away?

You would think that they would give up after this........Not at all
Instead they proceeded on a 6th device, this time.......
HIRE A PROPHET AND A PROPHETESS TO DECEIVE Nehemiah by a giving him a word, that was "supposedly from The Lord"!
Remember that we discussed in our previous teaching that one of the tools that witchcraft employs is FALSE PROPHECY.
Beware child of God and guard your heart and mind against such!

What true prophet or prophetess will accept a fee at all to prophesy in the first place....... how much more to malign the character or to derail and direct offcourse of a sincere servant or child of God?
As false prophets were in those days, they abound still today.
Be discerning and be sensitive.
The Bible says "To test all spirits to see whether they are of God or not".

Afterward I came unto the house of Shemaiah the son of Delaiah the son of Mehetabeel, who was shut up; and he said, Let us meet together in the house of God, within the temple, and let us shut the doors of the temple: for they will come to slay thee; yea, in the night will they come to slay thee. And I said, Should such a man as I flee? and who is there, that, being as I am, would go into the temple to save his life? I will not go in.
And, lo, I perceived that God had not sent him; but that he pronounced this prophecy against me: for Tobiah and Sanballat had hired him. Therefore was he hired, that I should be afraid, and do so, and sin, and that they might have matter for an evil report, that they might reproach me.
My God, think thou upon Tobiah and Sanballat according to these their works, and on the prophetess Noadiah, and the rest of the prophets, that would have put me in fear.
Nehemiah 6:10‭-‬14 KJV

Wow! To think that how far will workers of evil surrender themselves to be so used by the devil to frustrate the zeal and the work of one who is called of God.

Well......never mind, just after that last and 6th failed attempt at discouraging Nehemiah from continuing with his assignment and fulfilling his call the wall was FINISHED. Glory to God!

Child/servant of God, the work that you are doing for The Lord now has already been accomplished in the spirit. You and I are only playing out a script that has already been written for The Word of God says that the works were finished from the foundations of the earth......so why are you giving in to fear, insecurities and discouragement?

The Lord once said to me years ago as I studied God's word, He said that "Two big enemies to the work of God are discouragement and sexual immorality"
And, have we not seen how these have been allowed many a great work that God is doing?

How many believers have cheated themselves out of God's best and out of what is rightfully theirs by accepting thoughts and feelings intended to make them insecure.....intended to put fear into them?
Dearest one, all of that drama is intended to get you to accept lies.
Stand on the truth of The Word of God!

Nothing can ever be taken away from you except you actually BELIEVE that it can be!

You have got to be STRONG.
Strong in FAITH giving glory continually unto God as Abraham before he received his promise.
Refuse to be weak in faith!
Feed your faith daily and consistently with God's word!
Remain strong in THE SPIRIT....... be steadfast in prayer......consistent in the Word.....treasure a life of consecration to God.
Never.....ever.....ever give in to fear, insecurity and discouragement.
The devil is a defeated foe!

Your inheritance is secure in God.
All that you are, all that have and all that you have been given to do has The Lord as a wall of fire round about them.
Rejoice and be exceeding glad!
The Lord God Himself is the glory in the midst of you!

What a great delight it is to be a member of the body of Christ! For the privilege and the opportunity to love on this great body of Christ, God's precious sons and daughters!
A privilege and rare opportunity it is to bear the burdens of the weak, to rejoice with them that rejoice and to weep with them that weep!
For supposed christians, believers to gloat over the pains...(real or imagined) of other christians is one of the biggest evils I have seen under the sun, the biggest manifestation of the baby-hood stages of growth in christianity and the raw manifestation of the spirit of witchcraft.
Come Lord Jesus, purify your church from hypocrisy, envy, jealousy, competition and their counterpart spiritual sins!
Beloved, let us love one another for love is of God and he that loves is born of God and KNOWS God, he that loves not KNOWS NOT GOD for GOD IS LOVE.

RUNNING YOUR RACE OR IN PURSUIT OF FAME?

Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful. But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man's judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self. For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord. Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.
1 Corinthians 4:1‭-‬5 KJV

A few years ago as I sat and meditated in my secret place having heard about a matter concerning a believer.
I asked The Lord about it. Now, one of my principles is never to go by popular opinon concerning people, especially when those opinions are negative. If it is my business to know, I simply ask The Lord for the answers that I need per time.
This day, was one of those.
Then The Lord spoke the words of the scipture above (1Cor4:5)clearly aloud to my spirit.
I was blessed and delighted.
It was all I needed to hear to have my questions answered.

There is a thin line between one who is running his/her race with the urgency of a divine mandate upon his/her life and an individual working for the cameras or showing out for fame.

Apostle Paul described how a man most to be pitied he would have been had he refused to preach the gospel!

Jeremiah described how in the midst of hot persecution coming even from his own extended family members who wished for him to stop his ministry activities altogether.......and why did they? They simply did not know what they were doing, the enemy could not stand the intensity of the fire and the light that his ministry bore and shone into the darkness of his day and needed him to stop by all means!
So satan used his familiars to stir up trouble against him in the hopes of distracting him away from his God-given assignment!
Thank God the prophet was undaunted, for he continued to preach, he continued to fulfil his mandate, he continued bringing forth this infallible, powerful, invincible and unstoppable word of God that he likened to fire in his bones, halleluyah!

Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay. For I heard the defaming of many, fear on every side. Report, say they, and we will report it. All my familiars watched for my halting, saying, Peradventure he will be enticed, and we shall prevail against him, and we shall take our revenge on him. But the Lord is with me as a mighty terrible one: therefore my persecutors shall stumble, and they shall not prevail: they shall be greatly ashamed; for they shall not prosper: their everlasting confusion shall never be forgotten. But, O Lord of hosts, that triest the righteous, and seest the reins and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I opened my cause. Sing unto the Lord , praise ye the Lord : for he hath delivered the soul of the poor from the hand of evildoers.
Jeremiah 20:9‭-‬13 KJV

Run your God-given race relentlessly and refuse to back down.
God has got your back!
I was shocked to see a worldly nudity influencer declare to her critics that she should be left alone because she was simply running her race. What?! Someone working for the evil one with such a sense of mission?!
Why then are believers so laid back and unbothered?
Refuse to be complacent. Arise and run your race.

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Hebrews 12:1‭-‬2 KJV

Have you allowed the challenges of this life to slow you down?
The pressure of raising a family, running your business and building your career to weigh you down?
Have you allowed the burden and sin of worry to slow you down, you worry about the future, your yet to be answered requests, you worry just about anything and everything.
Or has it simply been fatal distractions from the many fleeting allurements of this temporary world and the deceitfulness of riches?
These all will no longer matter at the end of all things but very well bear the potential of causing you to be disqualified from spending an eternity with God and the highest purposes of God here on earth.
We must daily live with the conciousness of the truth that when all is said and done, only what we did for Christ would last.

Run your race, not in pursuit of fame, popularity, significance, relevance or power, for then you would just have wasted your existence and lost everything!

A desire for fame takes the life out of the efforts of those exercised thereby and causes them to loose impetus....to run out of steam.
The motivation of fame is just so fickle, so carnal, satanically and fleshly oriented.
The motivation of fame for any venture how much more in kingdom efforts lands man in hurtful, demonic deadly ends.
The motivation of fame causes a man to loose his entire reward for all his labours.
Run away from a desire for fame and significance and let your motives for doing all that you do in this life and for the kingdom be pure.
Then and only then will you be glorifying God with your existence.

Run your race out of a sense of responsibility to God as a faithful steward who will give an account to God for the giftings, graces, talents, abilities and opportunities He has graciously granted to you.
Run your race with a pure motive. To glorify God, to please Him, To bless, to lift, to help and to raise men.
Run your race as an outflow of the love of God to others.
Run your race faithfully because you've got a grace that can benefit others that will be of great benefit to them.
Run your race knowing there is laid up for you in the portals of heaven an incorruptible glorious crown that The Lord most graciously longs to place upon your head at the end of all things.

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
2 Timothy 4:7‭-‬8 KJV

The Lord is your shield and exceeding great reward.
Good morning!

28/10/2022

The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field, are withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men.
Joel 1:12 KJV

Did you know that good things, good flavours dry up when you allow your joy to be stolen by the enemy of your soul?

The original word from which the word 'joy' is derived is 'chara' a greek word meaning 'gladness' 'delight' 'to profit' and 'to benefit'.

You gain you do not loose when you give expression to the manifestation of joy.
Reach down from within your spirit and release the joy that your communion with God has birthed within your spirit by singing, dancing, rejoicing before The Lord or in shouts of joy and victory.
However, this can only be done if and when you have surrendered your heart and life to The Lord Jesus Christ in salvation.
Only born again believers in Christ possess this joy of which we speak.
One who is not saved yet can only experience happiness which is shortlived and dependent on circumstances and situations around.
Joy is born of the spirit of the believer in Christ.
The recreated human spirit.
Joy comes when we find the word.
So have you found ypurself suffering from many down days? Its only a reflection of the deficit of the word in your spirit.
You can not but have joy when you find the word daily.

Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O Lord God of hosts.
Jeremiah 15:16 KJV

Feed on the word daily. Dwell....literally live in The Word, and you will find joy.
Your recreated human spirit which is also reffered to as the heart in God's word literally CRAVES for The Word of God.
Our recreated human spirits/hearts are made of the same material that God's word is made up of.
When we feed on God's word and fellowship with God in prayers, in communing with The Holy Spirit, our spirits grow and can in turn grow/produce and release the fruit of love (of which joy is a manifestation of) from within it.

Joy is an anointing, I find that the more I give vent to the joy of The Lord in my spirit, the more anointed with the oil of joy I become!
The anointing, the oil of joy energizes!
It liberates!
It delivers from shackles and bo***ges.
It sets free!

The christian is commanded to rejoice you see.
We are to rejoice in The Lord always!
On days when you do not feel like rejoicing, Rejoice anyway! You'll soon find out that your feelings will catch up with your faith.

Child of God, you need to know that the devil wants to keep you from rejoicing inorder to
(1)steal the blessings you already have.
(2)Prevent or hinder new blessings from coming to you.

The anointing of joy greatly incapacitates the devil. So in turn, inorder to carry out his plans in someone's life, he comes first of all to steal the believers joy.
This you see, is just a means to an end, for he usually intends to steal many more things from the believer than he/she is aware of, but needs to be granted access first.
This is the reason why when men/women fall into a depressed state long enough something evil follows.
Many have lost their health, money, family members etc after staying long enough in the pit of depression.

Satan not willing to loose a chance moves in swiftly on them to sin thus receiving further access from these individuals to steal, kill and eventually destroy. Look how many lives via su***de satan has taken!

I say to you today, rise up from that creatfallen state and choose to rejoice! Choose joy!
It doesnt matter what has happened, when you rejoice in the Lord you leave the way or the door open for the power of God to work.
Quickly the angels of God are deployed into your situation and great victory is the result.
Halleluyah!

At this point, Paul and Silas come to mind.
For the work of The Lord they had been held captive, their feet were in stocks, they were cruelly kept in the innermost part of the prison.
Paul and Silas could have chosen to bemoan their fate, they could have begun fighting each other out of frustration as it frequently happens when people find themselves in this condition, they could have chosen to lament to God and blame Him for calling them into the ministry but instead they chose to rejoice! They chose to pray and to sing songs to God, so much so that the prisoners heard them! That was some great rejoicing going on in there!

And the multitude rose up together against them: and the magistrates rent off their clothes, and commanded to beat them. And when they had laid many stripes upon them, they cast them into prison, charging the jailor to keep them safely: Who, having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner prison, and made their feet fast in the stocks. And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.
Acts 16:22‭-‬26 KJV

Take note that this experience took place right after Paul had cast out the spirit of divination/the spirit of python from the girl that had been posssessed with it.
It was that very same spirit that stirred up the people against them.
People who do not know God and people who are not actively working with God can very easily be manipulated against God holy servants who are actively working for Him.
It behoves us to choose on which end of the divide we'd rather be!

The power of God was released when joy was released.
The power of God through an earthquake shook the foundation of the prison!
All doors were opened!
Everyone's bands were loosed. Halleluyah!

What prisons have you allowed your health, finances, opportunities, blessings to be kept in? Jerk that evil thing open with praise! With joy! With rejoicing and they all would be released in Jesus mighty name!
What limitations have you allowed and tolerated all these years? Break loose from them through rejoicing always!
What ancient doors have been closed against you hindering your progress and advancement? The power of God will force them open when you release those precious shouts of joy and victory!

Walk in this knowledge and with this revelation and you will record unprecedented victory each and everyday of your life.

You win in Christ Jesus!
