Laughable history 😅🤣😂
Hetty Green...the most stìngy woman in history, her wealth is estimated at more than $2.3 billion. Hetty Greene was born in America in 1835. She was the only daughter of a wealthy businessman.

She inherited from her father a fortune estimated at $7.5 million. When she was twenty-one years old, she moved to live in New York to invest her money in Wall Street and was called the Wìcked Wìtch of Wall Street.

She married a millionaire like herself, but still lived on leftover cakes and broken biscuits in grocery stores and argued to get a free bone for her dog every day!! Hetty Greene was a very mìserable woman. She sewed underpànts when she was 16 years old and did not change them or buy others until the day of her dèath.

She never spent a penny, so it was said that she never used hot water, that she wore a black dress that she did not change until it was completely worn out, and that she lived on eating a pie that cost only two cents.

Hetty caused her son to ampùtate his leg because when he broke it, she delayed treating it because she insisted not to spent no money and kept looking for free medical attention.

Hetty Greene dìed in 1916 at the age of 81 in New York City, and was entered in the Guinness Book of World Records as the “most stingy person in the world.”

The cause of her dèath was a stroke due to a quarrel with her maid because the maid asked for an increase in her meager salary.

She dìed and left behind a huge fortune, and her children did not inherit her extreme stìnginess, but rather they were generous to the point that her daughter built a free hospital with her money!! ☕️

ON THE NOTION THAT ỌỌ̀NI IS A PRIEST AND NOT A KING

(Help us follow Afrophilia page. Also, help us follow The Fuji Documentary. Thank you)

This idea that Ọọ̀ni is a priest and not a king started with the battle of supremacy between Ọọ̀ni and Aláàfin. The two camps were frantically searching for anything that could lessen the status of his rival. Many elders who knew the truth kept quiet because both Ọọ̀ni and Aláàfin are highly respected monarchs in Yorùbáland. Fair enough, some elders did not keep quiet, chief among them is Aláké of Ẹ̀gbá and other notable Ọbas. Now that some inconsequential group are using it to throw shades at Ọọ̀ni, it is high time we revisited the notion.

First of all, the idea is a dead-beat ab-initio. It is a sorry case of sword destroying its own sheath. If Ọọ̀ni was not a king, but Aláàfin agreed Yorùbá came from Ifẹ, (Johnson, Samuel) the question is can a chief give rise to a mornach that became an emperor? Trust the smart Aláàfin, he reworded it by saying Ọ̀rànmíyàn took political power out of Ifẹ and left a priest administrator to oversee the rituals to the 401 gods. This claim is also dead on arrival.

Ifẹ and Ọ̀yọ́ narrative about Ọ̀rànmíyàn both agreed Ọ̀rànmíyàn after his war-mongering years retired to Ifẹ, his ancestral home where he died and was buried. Then the question is, did Ọ̀rànmíyàn lived his later life in Ifẹ as a subject under a priestly administrator? Capital no. Ọ̀rànmíyàn lived his life as a king in Ifẹ while his son Àjàká ruled as king in the newly founded Ọ̀yọ́. He also died probably during the first reign of Àjàká.

Now in Ifẹ tradition, Ògún reigned as Ọọ̀ni after Ọ̀rànmíyàn. Ṣàngó reigned as Aláàfin after the dethronement of Àjàká who was dethroned for being too soft for a king. Both Ṣàngó and Ògún were incarnate of the actual Òrìṣàs, so that was why there were suggestions that their human form(kings) were rivals during their time. The reason for the dethronement of Àjàká also became meaningful if Ògún was the king at Ifẹ̀. The elders of Ọ̀yọ́ were also warned of the impending Ṣẹ́lẹ̀rú war that Ifá predicted was coming. That was also why they saw it necessary to replace Àjàká with someone more commanding. The key to understanding this is in the meaning of Ṣẹ́lẹ̀rú.

Now to the picture being distributed all over the place with the caption that Ọọ̀ni was an Ifá chief or priest. First, ask yourself why the picture is older than the label on it. We have seen different versions of this picture bearing different fonts for the caption and different labels. Some call Ọọ̀ni Ifá priest, some say he is Ifá chief. Some even make Times New Roman and fade it a bit to make the character appear old. We can only laugh at the lies.

First, ancient kings double as priest because most of the deities worshiped are mostly royal personage. This has been the tradition from dawn of civilization in Egypt. Pharaohs perform rituals and lead processions. As ancient Egyptian rulers, pharaohs were both the heads of state and the religious leaders of their people.

As society evolved division of work becomes more pronounced as aged kings started delegating their roles to assistants. These are found in the Dead Sea Scroll and other ancient scrolls. Ifẹ retain this practice to this day.

Spartanic idea of king, in which king must be leading warrior infiltrated Africa through Arab incursion and later Portuguese. Ancient Egyptian model, which influenced Greek predate all.

When white man came, they could not understand the concept of a ritual performing King. Their concept of king is Spartan model warrior king. That was what brought about the contention that Ọọ̀ni is a chief/priest. And since Ifa is the only thing to them that has semblance of religion, they concluded he must be priest of Ifa. The fact remains Ọọ̀ni performs his own duty during the ritual and the festivities of Ifa, but Ọọ̀ni is not priest of Ifa. Ọọ̀ni did not perform divination for any of these white men that misguided the world. Likewise, Ọọ̀ni has his role to play in the ritual of Ọbàtálá and all the 401 gods in Ifẹ. Does that make him priest of Ọbàtálá? Or of Ajé, or of any of the gods? Each of these Òrìṣà has his own chief priest till date.

To conclude this, Ọọ̀ni has always being a king with some roles attributed to priests nowadays. As it was in the beginning, so it is till today.

When two brothers fight, this is the kind of thing that happens.

Origin of Ife: Creation of the world

Ifẹ̀ (Yoruba: Ifẹ̀, Ilé-Ifẹ̀) is an ancient Yoruba city in south-western Nigeria and eastern Benin, founded in the 6th century. The city is located in present-day Osun State. Ifẹ̀ is about 218 kilometers northeast of Lagos.
The Ife Empire was the first empire in Yoruba history. The empire was formed by Odùduwà, and became well-known for its sophisticated art pieces.
It rose to power through trade with Sahelian and forest states. Its capital city, Ilé-Ife, was one of the largest urban centers in 14th century West Africa

Ile-Ife Kingdom is one of the Oldest Kingdom in Nigeria.
Some historical evidence prove that Ile-Ife was 4th Century while others said Ile-Ife has been in existence in the history of mankind.

Greek Historian, Herodotus, the father of History who lived from 4824 BC until 424 BC said about Ife: " According to history there were five ancient cities in Africa between 3000 and 1000 BC of which one was Ife".

According to the traditions of the Yoruba religion, Ilé-Ifẹ̀ was founded by the order of the Supreme God Olódùmarè by Obatala. It then fell into the hands of his brother Oduduwa, which created enmity between the two. Oduduwa created a dynasty there, and sons and daughters of this dynasty became rulers of many other kingdoms in Yorubaland.

The usurpation of creation by Oduduwa, gave rise to an ever-lasting conflict between him and his contemporaneous rival Orisha, Obatala. This symbolic rivalry is still re-enacted in the modern era by the votary groups of the two divinities during the Itapa New Year festival. On account of his creation of the world, Oduduwa became the ancestor of the first divine king of the Yoruba

The King (Ooni of Ile-Ife)
The Oòni (or king) of Ife is a descendant of the godking Oduduwa, and is counted first among the Yoruba kings. He is traditionally considered the 401st spirit (Orisha), the only one that speaks. In fact, the royal dynasty of Ife traces its origin back to the founding of the city more than ten thousand years before the birth of Jesus Christ.
The present ruler since 2015 is Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II, Ọọ̀ni of Ifẹ̀.

Named as the city of 401 deities, Ifẹ̀ is home to many devotees/votaries of these deities and is where they are routinely celebrated through festivals.
Igbo Olokun: Igbo Olokun used to be a forested, sacred grove (igbo) that housed shrines at which the goddess Olokun was worshipped.
Igbo Olokun in the city of Ile-Ife, in south-western Nigeria, was said to have a history of glass makers with unique manufacturing techniques in West Africa.

Ilé-Ifẹ̀ is famous worldwide for its ancient and naturalistic bronze, stone and terracotta sculptures, dating back to between 1200 and 1400 CE.

Oduduwa Shrine and Grove: The shrine of the progenitor of the Yoruba race. Worshippers and initiates flood the place seeking blessings and pay obeisance to the originator of their civilization.

Agbonniregun Temple: The grove of Ọrunmila an Orisha. He is the Orisha of wisdom, knowledge, and divination. This source of knowledge is believed to have a keen understanding of the human form and of purity, and is therefore praised as often being more effective than other remedies.

He later wrote that this was a “massive mistake. Apparently, Lucas’s coat caught the eye of law enforcement — who were surprised that he had better seats than Diana Ross and Frank Sinatra.

JUST IN: DNA Test Shows Nigerian Footballer, Kayode Olarenwaju, Is Not The Biological Father Of His 3 Children With His Wife, Ezinne Okoro.

According to reports, the children belongs to a popular pastor his embattled wife was having an affaiR with.

Nigerian international footballer Kayode Olanrewaju, known for his time as a forward at Manchester City, is facing a devastating personal crisîS that could see him lose almost everything he has worked for throughout his career. Shocking revelations have surfaced suggesting that Kayode may not be the biological father of the three children he believed were his during his marriage to Dora Ezinne Kayode.

The former Manchester City star claims that his wife, Dora Ezinne Kayode, defraudED him, lièd about her age, and committed adulteRY. According to Kayode, Dora is seven years older than she initially claimed, a deception that has deeply shaken him. The most shocking aspect of the betrayal involves alleged infideliTY with Pastor Tobi Adegboyega, a prominent figure known for his charismatic leadership.

Kayode's career, which saw him rise to international prominence, is now overshadowed by this personal turmoIL. The footballer, who has represented Nigeria on various international stages and played for clubs across Europe, is reportedly in a state of shocK and emotional distresś as he grapples with these revelations.

Friends and close associates of Kayode have expressed their support, but the footballer himself is said to be devastateD. "It's a complete betrayal," one close friend commented. "Kayode gave his all to his family, and to find out that everything he believed in was built on lièS is heart-wrenching."

The news of Dora's alleged affaIR with Pastor Tobi Adegboyega has sent shockwaves through both the football and religious communities. Pastor Adegboyega, known for his influential sermons and leadership, has yet to respond to the allegations.

Legal experts suggest that the fallout from these revelations could have significant financial and custodial implications for Kayode. If it is proven that he is not the biological father of the children, he could face a complicated legal battle over custody and support, potentially losing a substantial portion of his wealth and assets accumulated over his football career.

Kayode has reportedly sought legal advice and is considering his options. "He is determined to get to the bottom of this," a source close to the situation revealed. "He wants to know the truth and ensure that justice is served."

As this heartbreaking story unfolds, it underscores the profound personal challenges that even successful athletes can face. The betrayal Kayode feels is compounded by the public nature of his life, making this an intensely personal yet highly public ordeal.

Fans and supporters of Kayode Olanrewaju are rallying behind him, offering words of encouragement and solidarity during this challenging time. The football community, both in Nigeria and internationally, is watching closely as the situation develops, hoping for a resolution that allows Kayode to find peace and rebuild his life.

MEN AND S*X

Believe it or not women find it difficult to understand the reason why men love s*x.

* If they want to help you, they will demand for s*x.
* If they say they love you, they want s*x.
* You mistakenly sleep over, they want s*x.
* They want to borrow money from you, they want s*x.
* They want to give you a job, they want s*x.
* They want to give you a pass in your exams, they want s*x.

First of all, you need to understand the system of men. They didn't ask for that because they didn't create themselves.

Do you know that 95% of healthy men wake up with an er****on? Did they bargain for that? No!
Do you know that the p***s has a mind of its own?

A man could be reading his Bible and his p***s will just stand.
A man can be sleeping and wakes up with an er****on.
A man could be sleeping, once you start rubbing the p***s, it
stands even when he is still asleep.

Have you ever asked yourself why men are not on periods, cramps or any bad moods? That's how God created them.
A man is naturally always ready for s*x. Rub a man on his head, he already thinks you want s*x.
Wink at him, he's already seeing you naked.
Wave at a man walking with his wife, he will loose focus.

This is nothing spiritual. It's not about, "ln Jesus Name or Holy
Ghost Fire".

That's why real churches do not allow ladies with short dresses to sit in front, because they will confuse the Pastor.
Men did not manufacture the high libido by themselves.

We are all created in God's image. The only man that overcame the s*xual urge according to the good book was Jesus Christ. Joseph's own was that, he didn't just ran away,
he fled!! Jesus is Lord and on top of that, He was very careful not to include a woman among His disciples.

So many great men have fallen because of s*x. Do you think they wanted to?

Soldiers in the war front will develop the urge for s*x. To show you how bad it is, so many soldiers were killed during
wars because a woman lured them inside bush.

David in the scriptures sent a woman's husband to the war front when he saw a woman washing outside. He was later
told that it is the wife of his faithful servant who he has sent to war. He took the woman and had s*x with her.

Do I need to tell you about Sampson?
Solomon and other Bible characters?
It only takes the grace of God and some level of discipline and maturity to curtail this animalistic instinct.

The way the man's body reacts to the s*xual urge is not the same as a woman's body reacts to it. How many great women have you heard messed up because of a dick? Few, or even none.
So next time a man misbehaves because of s*x, don't see him as an animal. They are just responding to nature.

Don't be like, "I've lost the respect I had for you, "I thought you were responsible, so this was what you wanted?"

I pray you read this post with realistic understanding.
Men should also understand that it is not all er****on that is meant for s*x. They should learn to control their urge.

Men are wonderfully created, but
CONTROL YOURSELVES, OH YE MEN!!!

Girls at the age of 18-24 years always attract serious men who are fully ready to marry them, but at this age most of our girls/sisters never wish to hear anything about marriage.
1. I'm too young for that.
2. Who cares about marriage.
3. I'm focused on my books.
4. I want to gather some money first.
5. Marriage is full of problems.
These are some of few statements ladies talk of at their youth age.
But these girls will be having serious & series of s*x relationship with small boys of their age, because at that age, they always have high rate of boys, guys and men coming for them, but they will prefer to choose those boys rather than the real men who want to marry them. They are still young to marry right, but they are not young to have s*x with boys.
No problem, God is watching you.

At age of 25-27, parents will start asking them the following questions;
1. How far?
2. Don't you have any one yet ?
3. Are you not planning to get married ?
4. Are you seeing that all your mates are getting married ?
5. Don't you know you are getting old?
But mind you, parents only see the outside of their daughters, not knowing there is nothing left inside.
With all these questions by her own parents, she will now be thinking and asking herself things like: My mates are marrying,
1. Does it mean am old enough to marry?
2. Hmmm, how should I go about it?
3. My boyfriends are not serious about asking my hand in marriage.
4. They are not even ready to marry yet.
5. Well, God knows the best. I believe in God.
See oooh...!, she has started putting her blame on God. "God's time is the best" OK, I agree for argument sake.
At age 27-30 they now start looking for men to marry not boys to have s*x and play with again.
They will start looking for serious relationship that will lead to marriage, but unfortunately, at this age of 27-30 not all men will be asking their hand in marriage.
You will see them forcing themselves to marry a man who don't want to marry them. Please we beg you, leave us alone.
No single man at age 27-30 will like to marry a lady of 30-35. Now you hear the sisters say age does not matter.
My sister, it matters a lot.
Imagine buying a rotten tomato for $10 and your friend buys a fresh one for $7. Yes, that's how it feels like in marriage too.
Remember you rejected men because you think you were too young. What makes you think your old age does not matter to us?
That's why some men go back to their villages to find young girl to marry when the city ones are not serious about marriage and those that are serious happen to be old for them.

At age 30-35, her friends will ask her:
1. Why are you not married yet by this age of yours?
2. Is it not getting too late for you ?
You will hear her asking you some silly questions like...
1. Are you God?
2. Or do you want to marry me?
3. Is it a crime to be single at 30 or 35?
4. Did I see a man willing to marry me but I refused?
5. God knows the best for everyone please.
At age 30-35 they will start praying like never before, moving from one church to another. She will start praying mid-night prayers, fasting and dressing modestly.
If you ask her for dating, she would burst out to say:
1. My brother, I'm not like them.
2. Am looking for a serious man, a husband not dating.
3. If you truly love me go and see my parents for marriage.
4. I can't do anything with you without my parents concern.
Dear parents, they have started knowing your worth. When she was 18-24, she was doing everything without considering you as parents.
You don't expect a young man of 27-30 to marry you of 30-35 as his house wife when there are younger pretty girls out there.
Even if he chooses to ignore your age and marry you, his family and friends will discriminate you.
Men that will be interested to marry you will be of 45 yrs and above and mind you, those men are married with kids except you wanna be second or third wife.
Everything in life has its own season and time.
There's no lady at age 30-35 seeking for marriage who haven't been approached during 18-24. But by then, they were busily jumping from clubs/parties to hotel rooms looking for FUN not MARRIAGE.

Not everything is about prayer. God who created you has made a plan for you. But when you change the plan or miss the road, please don't disturb the peace of God. Because, He will be busy planning for your younger sister.
Think about this when you have time.

STORY OF MUSIC DUO, JUNGLIST

Re-written by U. D. Okechukwu

Most of you never heard of "junglist" a musical duo of Chibudo and Oritse Femi . Chibudo was an Igbo guy while Oritse Femi, an Ilaje guy.

FYI- No tribal sentiments oooooo.

Those days, if you never knew of them, then you are not an indigene of Kirikiri town & Ajegunle and a fan of konto dance music. They were so famous that if you never played any of their songs in your party, the party hasn’t started.

Some of their hit songs, "flog politician koboko” “Elewon" and the others. They were doing well indeed until they started listening to people's opinions.

“Chi, why don’t you go solo? You are the one writing most of the songs, it’s just voice that Femi has. Go solo and you will blow. Femi seems to be holding you back"

Indeed, Chi was the writer of most of their songs.

He gave in to the advice he was listening to and decided to give it a trial.

Not long after, they both separated and went their ways.

There was no need, bearing "junglist" they had to look for a different names. Chibudo changed his name to “chi junglist" while oritse femi answered his real name "oritse femi"

Oritse Femi came through with "mercies of the Lord" the song was a hit. In the remix, he featured the late Da grin. Next, He dropped another one, "better for Everyman" where he featured Vector the rapper. Then "Double wahala" which had several remixes.

What happened to his former partner, “chi junglist”?

Chai! Life no balance at all.

Chi junglist, became a shadow of his old self after their separation. All the songs he released was never heard. That explains why we have none of his single music title to hold on to.

He really struggled but he didn’t break into the industry.

Annoyingly speaking, the same people that adviced him to go solo started making jest of him.

While oritse femi was touring around the world on paid shows, Chibudo was seen walking about the streets of Ajegunle, frustrated.

Femi relocated his family from the slumps of Ajegunle,to a better place.

The break up was what made Oritse Femi and it turned out that it was Chibudo that was actually holding him back.

Years passed by and Chibudo was struck by an unknown sickness that made him seriously ill.
Broke and nothing to rely on, he came out to seek for alms from people to go for treatment.

After everything he died.

Yes! He's dead.

I am crying right now!

Not everyone's opinions should get a shelter in ur heart.

Words can make you and those same words can break you!

Not every advice given to you by a person people, are of good intentions. The motives of some of these advice are to bring u down and destroy you knowingly and unknowingly.

It’s a serious issue!
