Just Now 8 final Year students of Bida Poly Are crossing the main Road at Bida main Gate to take a bus to town , according to eye witness a white bus approached them with a very high speed despite the shout and the signal from the 8 student, the drunk driver could not control the bus 🚐🚐 and unfortunately drive pass them.

So the students are still standing there , still waiting for a new bus to come 🙆🙆

Today the Student's Union Government (SUG), the federal polytechnic Bida, met with the Polytechnic's Director of security and other matters, DR Aphang together with a representative from Denary to dialogue about the current situation (Increment in TISHIP resulting in the total school fees increment).

The Student's Union Government express her displeasure on the recent increment in TISHIP fee and highlighted so many points for consideration, However the Union recommended that the TISHIP should remain as the previous amount it was which is N3500, the increment of TISHIP from N3500 to N10,000 is unjustifiable.

The Director pleaded with the Union to be a little bit patient with the management and assure that the request of the Union will be convey to Rector Engr. Haruna Baba Aliyu, and hopefully latest tomorrow there will be a round table meeting with the management team to finalize the situation.

As we wait and hope for a positive response from the management, we urge all the FPBlites to please
Stay Calm.
Do not pay school fees for now till further directive.
And engage the union in your prayers.
Together we can overcome any hardship that comes your way.

We want to let you know that the Student's Union Government is not at any point ready to trade your interest with anything.
We shall exhaust all our strength to defend the mandate been given to us.
