MY LONELY WORLD
Chapter one
I woke up with a start on hearing my name. I knew I was in big trouble, for my Madam to call me like that.
"How many times do you want me to repeat myself before u listen to me, ehn Oma?" Madam Clara yelled.
"Am sorry ma, it won't happen again" I replied, shaking and sweating profusely.
"Sorry for your stupid self. Will u get up from that bed before I give you the knock of your life, sleeping beauty".
Madam Clara said with so much hatred in her eyes..
I quickly rushed to the living room to tidy it up and then to the kitchen and to the bedroom..

My name is Omalicha Okeke. I am the first child of my parents. I am thirteen years old. I started living with Madam Clara when I was ten years old. I came to the city with Madam Clara when my parents were no longer able to pay school fees. She has been a thorn in my flesh ever since I came in with her. She's so full of hatred..

I was feeling so exhausted, so I decided to rest my head a bit on the couch. It wasn't up to twenty minutes that I dozed off, Madam Clara came out of her room. She caught me sleeping, then she dragged me by my hair and gave me a dirty slap, then I blacked out..
