I had always beaten myself up for making mistakes until I realised that failure is a part of the journey.

There was a time when I aimed to uplevel my business that I ventured into creating a new line of designs fueled by fresh ideas, tools and materials.

As I poured my energy into the project, I discovered a disheartening truth : the spark I sought was absent. The whole endeavour felt more like a burden than a passion. The lack of joy and excitement signaled a disconnect from what truly ignites my soul.

This failure served as a wake-up call and a reminder that the path to success is paved with setbacks. This prompted me to reassess my direction, to realign with pursuits that resonates with my purpose.

We have a tendency to overlook signs of discontent in pursuit of progress.

Found this while sifting through my belongings.

I'm still amazed that I managed to break my board 😲 a moment of excitement and joy!
But I'm blown away by the courage I found to step into the spotlight, using my voice not to impress, but to inspire.

Yet, what you may not know about me is the struggle I faced during a pivotal transition in my life. In that moment of uncertainty, I felt lost and unworthy, doubting my ability to pursue my dreams. The thought of putting myself out there on camera or using my voice seemed daunting.

I asked myself, "How do I break free from this ?"

It wasn't until I delved into personal development and encountered Tony Robbins' event about unleashing the power within that I realized I needed to be there, and must find a way to make it happen.

Through this journey, I've learnt that to pursue your dreams, you must confront your fears head-on and that every challenge presents an opportunity for growth and transformation.

As a result of overcoming those obstacles, I've emerged as a better version of myself – one who is committed to helping others navigate similar struggles. The truth is you will never be ready, and you never get anything done. There will always be uncertainties and challenges.

It's not uncommon as an entrepreneur to feel discouraged when people don't understand your vision. It sometimes makes you question yourself, your abilities and the path that you've chosen for yourself.

But the truth is they can't understand your vision when God gave it to you and not them, they didn't see the vision you did, so how can they understand what they didn't see until it starts becoming a reality.

You tend to forget that your vision is a reflection of your passion, dreams and experiences. It's what sets you apart from the crowd.

Here's the moral lesson: It's easier said than done but it's important to stop waiting for people's approval before you do something about that idea that keeps coming to mind and won't go away, that idea you can't stop thinking 🤔 about , that you probably need to pursue, that yearning you have in your heart.

Some years back, I got tired of waiting 😔 for a job that was only available for a few people.

Thought it was about time I started my own business but had no idea what business to start, what I 'm good at and where to begin.

I really wanted to start my own business and live my passion.
I decided to turn my passion for making jewelry into business though I was fearful people will not value my work let alone pay for what I made.

That became my goal, to create something that people will love appreciate and be willing to buy from me and even come back for more.

Worked on my skills, bought books, had trainings and started applying what I was learning until a fellow jewelry maker bought earrings and bracelet off my body and even requested that I become her mentor 😳😳

That moment was a big shift for me, I became confident, stopped hiding my work and started letting people know what I do, made more sales and had repeat customers, and was able to achieve my goal.

I felt there was more for me but I couldn't put my finger on it, that I Set out on a journey of self- discovery, growth and learning.

In the course of learning, Pete Vargas said "use your message to impact lives". Those words stuck with me and I wondered why?🤔

until I met Tony Robbins and Dean Graziosi and was opportune to be a part of their "mastermind world summit " online and they made me realise that I can extract my knowledge and packaged it in a way I can use it to serve those that need my help.

And I set out to help and encourage women to believe in their potential and live their passion.

Women who have the strong desire to start a business with their gift, passions and expertise but are afraid to put themselves out there because they believe people will not value their work or pay for what they created.

I created my first course and made so many mistakes struggling to put myself out there but achieved it with the support of the amazing team. Learning that the key lies in believing in yourself and taking uncomfortable actions.

Being on this journey made me a better version of myself than I was yesterday. If I can do it , you too can.

I believe that together, with support and guidance, we can overcome the things holding us back from becoming confident and thriving with our gifts, passions and expertise.

A thought leader once said , don't come to the place of learning with the mindset "I know this already" because when you listen closely you'll learn something new that you probably didn't hear the first time.

Listening to Tony again in the concluded Time to Rise Summit, was not just a refresher but a reminder :

*to reapply the lessons learnt in your present circumstances.

* that life is a journey and all the challenges before you are worthy opponents that you can conquer

* and that personal development is an ongoing process.
