Usain Bolt the Jamaican former sprinter is considered the greatest sprinter of all time.
He won 9 gold medals in 3 olympics and had run less than 2 minutes on the track. He made $119 million in the 3 olympics. That is more than $1million for each second he ran. For those 2 minutes he ran, he had trained for years.

Success is indeed a process and it eludes most people because many are too preoccupied with the events while disregarding the process. Many don't care about what they are becoming in the process as long as they get the money hence end up doing the wrong things. Enjoy the process and focus on the step right in front of you and not the whole staircase.

Many have asked me how I came to this level. Well being disciplined and consistent are some of the things that have helped me. You have to do what you need to do even when you don't feel like doing it. Imagine if Usain Bolt only trained on days when he felt like training, we probably wouldn't have known him.

Jim John said "Success is a few simple disciplines practiced daily". Darren Hardy in his book "The Compound Effect" talks about how the small seemingly insignificant habits compound to either build us or break us. Those small things you do may look insignificant today, you may not seem like you are progressing but trust me they are compounding and one day they will pay off. Like I always say "Progress is progress even when it is only visible to you alone so don't be ashamed to take that small step
An African proverb says "If you want to move mountains tomorrow, you must start by removing stones today." Yes Rome was not built in a day, but everyday, a brick was laid. Keep laying those bricks.

Its saddening how people try to avoid the process and rush for quick success not knowing that the process is actually more important than the actual results. Pit Bull said "We are here for a marathon not a sprint. It's short steps, long vision". When you focus on the process or the steps, you will be amazed

Gilbert Chagoury, the owner of Hi Tech Construction Company, which won the controversial Lagos-Calabar coastal road without any competitive bidding, also owns the massive Eko Hotel Lagos.

He also owns Eko Atlantic, the most expensive city in Nigeria.

He is a Lebanese/Nigerian, and his parents arrived in Nigeria from Lebanon at the beginning of the 19th century in search of economic opportunities. Their son Gilbert has achieved success and is now living in Lagos.

He is a close friend of the Bill Clinton family, a card carrying member of the Democratic Party in the state, and a generous funder of the liberals as well.

Gilbert does not live in Lagos again, the place where he made his wealth; he has relocated to France, where he lives in a castle in Paris, where he is enjoying his retirement.

His children run his conglomerate business empire in Lagos, but beyond that,

Gilbert is one of the closest human beings alive, close to our president, and their relationship dates back over three decades.

He clocked 78 this January, and our president gave him a presidential shout-out to celebrate his birthday as his confidant and man Friday.

This is the first time he's received a shout-out from a sitting president on his birthday since the return of democracy in 1999.

The last time our president travelled to France for personal reasons, he was at his farm house in Paris.

So Gilbert’s company got the lucrative costal road contract worth 15 trillion over the likes of Julius Berger and Wigwe’s Craneburg, who are the number 1 and number 2 construction companies in Nigeria, because of personal relationships, nepotism, and padi padi

India's legendary footballer and Nigeria's nemesis.

According to the legend: in the late 1970's when India played a match with Nigeria, Kalho Naho was monumental in the destruction of the Nigerian team.

It is claimed that Kalho Naho scored 88 goals that evening because whenever he took a shot, the Nigerian goalkeeper saw the ball as an Angry lion coming speedily right at him, so he fled from the post.

The Nigeria goalkeeper finally attempted and bravely caught one shot from the Indian striker but the Nigerian keeper got blind immediately.

It is also said that the entire Indian team played barefooted and the match ended 99:1 in favour of india.

The stubborn Nigerian player that managed to score the one goal against India vanished on the spot and till date has never been seen again.

India were banned from football by FIFA for a hundred years after that match.

I'm still trying so believe this sha😆😆😆

Attention Business Owners!

Do you know there is something called "Customer Reviews/Feedback" ?

They are what your customers has to say about your products or services after using it.

And I have seen many businesses not using it at all, the few business owners using it are using it wrongly.

On those that are using it wrongly, you don't just post it, you should post it with relevant caption.

For example, If a customer gives you a review saying how happy they are by using your products, instead of just posting that review. You can post and write something like this:

"My customers are happy with XYZ Product, you should also get your own and have taste of joy and bundle of happiness that comes with the product"

Do you get the message? I want you to try it out

Now to businesses that are not using it at all,

I will start by saying you are loosing sales for not using it, because some of your prospects just need to see or hear what other people like them are saying about the product before they buy.

Which means if you don't post what they are looking for, they don't get convinced that the product/service actually deliver on its promises.

Also, people will believe what other people are saying about you and your product than what you say yourself about it- it is just a sales psycology, and it works everytime.

It is simply so because no one will want to say something so bad about themselves.

Personally for me, I have used my customers review to sell over 500 units of one of my digital program and this is how I know that it really works well and you should also try it out.

There are a number ways you can get these reviews

First, you can ask your customer directly to give you the reviews. Here you are asking them for reviews directly.

Second way, you can ask them in a casual conversation. So it going to be like this.

You: So, Mr B. how do you feel about using XYZ Product, does it meet what you are looking for?

And then they start telling you everything

Time management is crucial in our daily lives, as it helps us prioritize our tasks and use our time efficiently.

One popular method is the 80/20 rule, which suggests that a small portion of our efforts often leads to a majority of results.

The Pomodoro technique, on the other hand, breaks work into short, focused intervals to prevent burnout.

The Eisenhower Matrix is a strategic tool for decision-making, helping distinguish between important and urgent tasks.

For those who tend to procrastinate, Parkinson's Law warns that work expands to fill the time allotted for completion, urging better time allocation.

The Time Blocking method encourages dedicating specific blocks of time to tasks, which can be particularly effective for those with varied responsibilities.

The Getting Things Done (GTD) method aims to move tasks out of the mind by recording them and breaking them down into actionable steps.

For goal-oriented planning, the Rapid Planning Method (RPM) focuses on outcomes and results to drive efficiency.

The Pickle Jar theory uses the metaphor of fitting big rocks into a jar first to emphasize the importance of prioritizing major tasks.

Lastly, 'Eating That Frog' means tackling the most challenging task first, providing a sense of achievement and propelling productivity for the rest of the day.

Each of these techniques can be adapted to different work styles and preferences, highlighting the importance of personalizing time management strategies.

Due Diligence in Business

Due diligence is the investigation that a person is normally expected to take before entering into an agreement or contract with another whereas in Business practice it is the process through which a potential acquirer evaluates a target company or its assets in advance of a merger or acquisition.

Due diligence takes different forms depending on its purpose:

_ The examination of a potential target for merger, acquisition, privatization, or similar corporate finance transactionnormally by a buyer.

_ A reasonable investigation focusing on material future matters.

_ An examination being achieved by asking certain key questions, including, how do we buy, how do we structure an acquisition, and how much do we pay?

_ An investigation of current practices of process and policies.

_ An examination aiming to make an acquisition decision via the principles of valuation and shareholder value analysis

Due diligence process can be divided into nine distinct areas:
1. Compatibility Audit : deals with the strategic components of the transaction and in particular the need to add shareholder value.

2. Reconciliation audit: llnks/consolidates other audit areas together via a formal valuation in order to test whether shareholder value will be added.

3. Financial audit.
4. Macro-environment audit.
5. Legal/environmental audit.
6. Production audit.
7. Management audit.
8. Information systems audit.
9. Marketing audit.

It is essential that the concepts of valuations (shareholder value analysis) be considered in a due diligence process. This is in order to reduce the number of failed mergers and acquisitions in business practices.

AfCFTA, What does it mean?

Only about 18% of African trade is between African countries, while the majority of trade is with countries outside the continent. AfCFTA was was initiated few years ago to increase growth in African economies and create new opportunities for businesses and workers.

African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) is an initiative to create a single market for goods and services, with free movement of people and capital across the African continent.

The main aim of AfCFTA is to boost intra-African trade by removing tariffs and other barriers to trade, making it easier for African businesses to sell their products and services to other African countries.

Other AfCFTA aims are

These are just some of the goals of the AfCFTA, and it's an exciting time to see how the initiative will impact Africa in the coming years.

In 2018, the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa estimated that AfCFTA will boost intra-African trade by 52% by 2022 and a report in 2020 by the World Bank anticipated that AfCFTA could lift 30 million Africans out of extreme poverty, boost the incomes of nearly 70 million people, and generate $450 billion in income by 2035.
