In a poignant valedictory court session at the Ebonyi State Judiciary, Chief Barr Felix Nwigwe Mgbada, MON, was posthumously honored as a sociolegal magnet and a true icon of justice. The court hall was filled to capacity with legal luminaries, spanning generations.

Representing the Chief Judge of Ebonyi State Judiciary, His Lordship, Justice Sylvester Ngene, Hon. Justice Njoku extolled Mgbada as "a good bar man, a patriot, and a man with the legacy of honor and industry." The gathering included a diverse assembly of wigs, from seasoned veterans to the younger legal minds, creating a vibrant tapestry of legal expertise.

Notable figures in attendance were three former Chief Justices of Ebonyi State, Justices Paul Elechi, Aloy Nwankwo, and Anselm Nwigwe, along with Justice Friday Ogazi of the Federal High Court. The Attorney-General of Ebonyi State, Bar Ben Odoh, delegated Bar Jude Chukwu to represent him. Eminent legal luminaries and Ebonyi founding fathers, Chief Okeagu Ogada and Prof. Ben Igwenyi, as well as former EBHA speaker and ex-HAG of Ebonyi State, Chief Augustine Nwankwegu, graced the special court session with their presence.

The Owelle Felix Nwigwe Mgbada family, represented by the matriarch Prof. Mrs. Justina Mgbada and Scion Hon.
