The Ministry, Power and LOVE... IF YOU ARE NOT SENT TO CRY IN THE WILDERNESS,WHY ASKING FOR THE ANOINTING OF JOHN THE BAPTIST???

The time I understood God's distributional system of gifts, I stopped praying for power. Most believers get offended because they believe that certain spiritual gifts they covet is not working in their life.This manner of offence is obviously informed by their self-justification of having-paid-the-price. In as much as it's crucial to believe in the power of prayer, understanding God's ways of administration and principles stand out. When we want to discuss God, the first context that comes to mind should be His kingdom,then His righteousness : meanwhile, the Greek name for 'righteousness' is 'dikaiosunē ' which means 'equity of character of act' . So, even though Jesus came primarily to save the world; His message spanned from the gospel to declaring the character and the ways of God of the kingdom. Perhaps Jesus would have just hidden and come out to die at 33, if not that the kingdom's essence doesn't stop at salvation. Thus, He taught to the extent that He corrected most of the acts in Old Testament:

You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.’ But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also. And if anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, hand over your coat as well( Mathew 5:38-40)

There is another place He was correcting the order that Moses gave; although He explained why Moses gave it, the fact remains that Moses gave it:
Jesus replied, “Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard. But it was not this way from the beginning(Mathew 19:8)

Now, my emphasis is how Jesus did a systematic justice to Kingdom's order. And out of many things that He taught, emphasis was given to love. I believe it when Jesus said no one has seen the father before. Yes, because no one ever preached love. In fact, Jonah almost got offended because He was sent to warn a nation. Elijah called down fire on his enemies; but when the son of thunder wanted to do so Jesus rebuked them. The emphasis is that Elijah and Moses knew power, Joshua and Elisha enjoyed it so much,the only thing they hoped to see was the Love of the Father. So,power had been from ages, the only thing that only became known at the manifestation of Christ is Love!
Many believe it was prayer and power that helped Jesus' ministry. No, it was the revelation of the Father:
You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we DO KNOW...(John 4:22)
This means it's abnormal to want to work for or with what you don't know. The most amazing thing is that out of many descriptions of the father that Jesus gave, love was emphasized. According to him, the essence of the law and prophet was not fulfilled because it could not birth love. Law and prophet only became fulfilled when Jesus manifested!!! Glory!!!!
So, Jesus made us to understand that the father is in a Kingdom called the Kingdom of God and His ways are rapped and revealed in love. By equation, if God is love , then we can call His Kingdom the KINGDOM OF LOVE. And His acts are love-sponsored!
The foundation of the Kingdom is on righteousness; and this righteousness is strengthened by love. So,when it comes to Kingdom's activities, LOVE is what regulates them:..And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all(1Cor 12:4)

If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal (1Cor 13:1)

Maybe you are surprised that one can speak in tongue without love. Stroll up , I have already justified that.

Yes, this is the very beauty of the kingdom we have been called into. This is the characteristic of New Testament--- CALLED BY LOVE, LIVE IN LOVE AND LIVE FOR LOVE.A man that has accepted this will understand the kingdom's order of priority and why and how gifts are administered.
Jesus would have also won the devil if He turned the stone to bread, but he would have lived for Himself not the Father--- this is an option that is always available for men who are power-intoxicated. Many times, they win battles that heaven they claim to represent does not win and even gather people for celebration .
As I said , kingdom's activities are regulated by love. This applies to gifts and manifestation of power. In as much as power is good, it's simply a tool for ministry. Ministry here is the name given to the activities of any believer in the Kingdom---- whether headship-ministry or help-ministry. Meanwhile, Paul emphasized the the essence of ministry that it's for edification and maturity. paul says in ephesians 4: 10-12
He that descends is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens that he might fill all things. and he gave some ; apostles; and some ,prophets and some evangelists and some pastors and teachers. For the perfecting of saints,for the work of the ministry ,for edifying of the body of Christ
Although the ministries listed here are headship ministries, it should be established that the dimension of power and grace that each believer wields is in tandem with the form and type of ministry he has been given. So,the best way to manifesting power is to be at one's allocated ministry---- not necessarily prayer. jesus was about the business of His Father and the anointing that had been prepared for Him to carry out the ministry was in operation. We begin to covet power unnecessarily when we abandon our duty post. God is not interested in everybody becoming Idahosa or Bonke(respectfully speaking) He rather wants everybody to use the ministry allocated to him and grace that comes with it to express the love of God in serving. You will be surprised that the Apostle you want to be like is amazed at how you usher people in with such aura of courtesy and skilfulness. When the apostles were being tormented in Acts 4, they did not pray for more power, they rather asked for boldness. YES,THE SENSE OF SERVICE IS THE SENSE OF POWER .It is the will of God for us to minister. In fact,that is our default mode at salvation:

Who also hath made us able MINISTERS of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. Who has made us COMPETENT TO BE MINISTERS of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit .

Meanwhile,it is one thing to be ministry-conscious, it is another thing to understand one's dimension and grace of ministry. I do tell people that they should not be offended by how anybody ministers at any spiritual event or program. Two Prophets can minister in different fragrance of the prophetic , one should not say the other is bad . Apostle that operates in the dramatic should not blame the one that do more of exhortation and exegesis. They both have the ministry but unique grace to carry it out. "John came eating honey but Jesus came eating bread----they were both 'sent' eventually "

HAVING SAID THIS, WHO IS NOW A MINISTER? A MINISTER IS A MAN OF LOVE WHO REPRESENTS LOVE IN THE CAPACITY GIVEN TO HIM THROUGH LOVE BY LOVE AND IN LOVE .

IF WE TRULY MINISTER FOR GOD , WE WILL MINISTER IN LOVE!!!

Both good and bad things can distract believers. So, distraction is not necessarily a product of pursuance of things that are obviously sinful but a seemingly stylish way of putting what should come first last--- to the end that the devil makes one to observe the temporary instead of beholding the eternal.

THE MOVE OF THE SPIRIT ----A TESTIMONY.

I have realized that our relevance and accuracy is not a hinch distant from alignment to the promptings and leadings of the Holy Spirit. If the logos is enough,Jesus would have rather lengthened His teachings even after resurrection instead of promising the disciples the Holy Spirit. Something about God is that He doesn't trust any activity or kingdom project until His Spirit has sealed it. In Jenesis 2:1,the rest (Shabath in Hebrew) is consistent with the satisfaction witnessed by the Holy Spirit. God's signature of His real son, equally,is the Holy Spirit. So,John said in John 1:33:

And I myself did not know him, but the one who sent me to baptize with water told me, ‘The man on whom you see the SPIRIT come down and remain is the one who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.’

In 1 John 5:7-12, you will realize that the two witness dimensions (the horizontal and the vertical) has the inclusion of the Spirit:

"For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one"
So,in the operation of God, it's clear that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is crucial---it is the sense of everything the Father does per time. My experiences so far have been practical proofs of this. Most times,we are just doing something that it only takes the sense of the Spirit to understand:
The natural man does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit(1 Corinthians 2:14)"
It was around 3pm on Friday that I began to feel this strange drawing. When I listened in my spirit to know what was happening,a song was already ringing in YORUBA language:
Emi o yin Oluwa ni owuro
Emi o yin losan gangan
Emi o yin Oluwa ni asale
Emi o yin ni Igba gbogbo

Meaning; I will praise God in the morning
I will praise God in the noon
I will praise God in the evening
I will praise God all times

There are times we don't know why we are doing what we are doing. It takes the sense of the Spirit to understand it: "The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned(1 Cor 2:14) "
The only thing I knew was that I was under the Spirit. The burden
heightened to the extent that I tried call my mum if she would join me to praise God but she wouldn't pick the call. People around thought I was going strange.
Meanwhile, I remember I was speaking with my brother three days before concerning the fruit in his wife. I asked him the exact time in April she will give birth. He said it should be around 23rd according to medical reports. I laughed because the Lord said " In three days" I remember I gave him the name Testimony. He could not believe what I was saying. It was so strange to him. He had had the first child through CS and now the Lord has said the second one will be operation-free. I could hear him taking a deep breath.
So, this Friday being the third day after I gave the words; however it didn't cross my mind at all. I had almost forgotten that I even called him three days ago. I kept singing and singing till the burden lifted after 30 minutes. When I could not yet understand the dynamic of the encounter ,I thanked God and rested. YES , I DO THAT BECAUSE IT TAKES TIME TO CAPTURE THE FULL MEANING IF CERTAIN ENCOUNTERS/BURDENS/PROMISES. IN THIS CASE I HAVE LEARNED TO THANK GOD:

Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he gave glory to God (Romans 4:20)
TILL AROUND 9PM ON SAME FRIDAY I RECEIVED A CALL FROM MY BROTHER BEGGING ME TO START PRAYING AS THE WIFE WAS ALREADY IN THE HOSPITAL. AS HE DROPPED THE CALL, I WAS ABOUT PRAYING WHEN I REMEMBERED THE ENCOUNTER IN THE AFTERNOON....HAA!!!IT WAS THEN MY EYES OF UNDERSTANDING OPENED . I CRIED LORD" IT'S DONE!!! I did not bother to pray but THANKING GOD RATHER. I TOLD HIM 'TO EAT BEANS' YES, FAITH IS THE SUBSTANCE OF THINGS HOPE FOR,THE EVIDENCE OF THINGS NOT SEEN (HEBREW 11:1)
I was singing and searching my spirit. Wao ! I have got another word. She was supposed to give birth around 12am. I called him ,he said she has not given birth. Hmmm. I was almost doubting the still small voice. I searched again, it was valid. Then I called around 12: 30am asking him if he was sure she has not given birth. He said yes. I asked him to calm down that God is in control. I was in another encounter of night vision when his call interrupted me. I picked the call. Behold my brother was sobbing. I was like. " What has happened, please?" I remember the song with which he saluted me:

O ti se o ,baba ti se o
Oun to n bami leru
Baba ti se o

Meaning; He has done it
Father has done it
That thing that is scaring me
God has done it

It was a BABY GIRL. HE WAS LIKE: NOW,I BELIEVE IN YOUR CALLING,I BELIEVE YOUR GOD, BLABLA. YOU KNOW WHAT. THE NURSES SAID SHE HAD GIVEN BIRTH AN HOUR AGO,THE ANNOUNCEMENT WAS ONLY DELAYED FOR A REASON---EXACT TIME THE HOLY SPIRIT HAD TOLD ME THE WOMAN WOULD DELIVER.

I BELIEVE IN MIRACLES... I BELIEVE IN THE MOVE OF THE SPIRIT...

JESUS' MIND:OUR HEART IN THE DAYS OF TRIAL!!!

Each time I see what has become of certain folks that were on fire back then on campus,I reflect on mystery that keeps men. Some of them have not really denounced their faith but they are like a dog goes back to its vomit.
Some months ago , my mind cast back to a fervent friend then in secondary-school days. He was the one that practically showed me the essence of holiness.Around him,one would not even talk of looking sideways during exam, let alone contributing to examination malpractice fees(expo).He was the best example of a man fighting the good fight of faith that I knew. We would pray and fasted. We would write tracts to have souls won. Those memories can not be overemphasized... The day he told me his past ,I could not believe it. I saw a man who had been truly redeemed and helped of God----so,it was not a matter of his salvation being faked.
Unfortunately,I could not believe the manner of salutations with which he responded when I later got his number and put a call through. He didn't know I was crying from my own end. The fire was no more there. He already became loose in words and with zero sense of courtesy. The most worrisome part was when I tried to glimpse into his next plan in life. I thought he would speak of calling,of crusade,of evangelism,or of any career, at least. He said he was contemplating comedy. Hmm,if not for his voice,I would have thought I called a different person. Funnily,he had already cursed me(in the name of being funny) almost ten times in a call not up to five minutes, cracking all kinds of jokes: I knew he already prepared and trained for this course of comedy. He would almost not allow me to talk .I had to end the call as my spirit could no more bear it. I took a deep breath and 1Cor.10:12 rang in my head: "Wherefore let him that THINKETH he stands take heed ,lest he fall"
I began to intercede for him and at the same time to ask God the secrets of consistency. This formed my meditation until I stumbled upon the power of mindset. When God became man (Jesus) the Bible reveals that He had a right set of mind: mind of humily; mind of selflessness,mind of consciousness of God's grace daily,mind of forgiveness and intercession,and of SOBERNESS. So,the Bible says we should let that mind be in us if we want to live here like Jesus (Phil.2:5). It was not a robbery for him to say 'I created the world with the Father.' He was more concerned about the assignment and leading of the Father. He judged no one unrighteously, so it was an eternal problem for the devil to judge Him.(I Cor 2:8)
God has taught me to be sober and be mindful of my words and judgement of issues. The Holy Spirit told me at a point that everyone judges himself in judging others--- BECAUSE THIS RACE IS LIKE MARATHON. He said the strength that is available for me in the days of trial is equivalent to words I spoke when someone had such challenge. Look: SOBERNESS BRINGS US INTO SANITY OF MIND, MAKING US TO SEE OURSELVES AS NOTHING WITHOUT THE GRACE OF GOD. IT'S DIFFICULT FOR A SOBER MAN TO BE PROUD.
It is better to go to the house of mourning, than to go to the house of feasting: for that is the end of all men; and the living will lay it to his heart. Sorrow is better than laughter: for by the sadness of the countenance the heart is made better(Ecclesiastes 7:2-3)
It is this practice of SOBERNESS that The Fool Rich Man violates in Luke 12. He would have remembered others that had nothing to eat; but he was not sober and God could not minister to him. SOBERNESS BRINGS US into an atmosphere that makes us reason like God...This is why prophets don't talk much... It takes a quite and calm soul to see like God... Visions can come through gifts but DISCERNMENT is a product of calmness. AND IT TAKES A MAN THAT DISCERNS RIGHT TO JUDGE RIGHT. Jesus spent most of his life in the secret place,not only because He wanted to pray but He understood the corruption that can come through accolades and SPOTLIGHT. At a point they wanted to make him king by force,but He immediately vacate the spot(John 6:15), sensing the temptation that could come with it. EVERY MAN THAT DIES IN PUBLIC PLACE HAS LONG DIED IN SECRET PLACE.
MEANWHILE, even though Jesus had this mind as explained above. We see that He almost missed it in the garden of Gethsemane. It took MERCY for him to be strengthened. However,the heart of Jesus reflected in a line of His prayers in that garden " Not my will,but yours be done" (Luke 22:42) This means that there is a posture that attracts mercy---more often. Even in the time of trouble and trial and temptation,the words of man will reflect his heart. When David faced Goliath,his words was more of Thanksgiving;how God saved him in the past...When Jesus faced His own ,His words ended in surrender ... WHEN WE SPEAK,WE ACT OUR HEART; BECAUSE OUT OF THE ABUNDANCE OFTHE HEART THE MOUTH SPEAKETH(Luke 16:45)
The summary of this matter is that the health of our spiritual life begins from inculcating the mind of Christ; which will eventually help us to live the life of Christ. His mind was that of HUMILITY, OBEDIENCE, SELFLESSNESS, FORGIVENESS,GRACE-CONSCIOUSNESS, INTERCESSION AND SOBERNESS. This will build in us a heart that JUDGES NOT, THAT COVETS NOT, AND A HEART THAT HAS MERCY TOWARDS OTHERS. And even in the time of trial, God's mercy will not be far from us.
What role are we given in our local assemblies? Let us do it as if God is physically supervising us. Through right heart, heaven might have made you that global singer three years ago even in that local church; that what only remains is divine announcement. Right heart is powerful;it can become a defense mechanism in the days of battle. It can become your strength in the days of weakness . After Prophet Isaiah told Hezekiah how that he would die of the sickness,the Bible says he faced the wall and prayed: "...GOD, PLEASE I BEG YOU.REMEMBER HOW I HAVE LIVED MY LIFE ,I HAVE LIVED FAITHFULLY IN YOUR PRESENCE .LIVE OUT OF A HEART THAT WAS TOTALLY YOURS"(Isaiah 38:1-22). WAOOO!!! God added fifteen years. SO ,GOOD HEART OF SERVICE CAN SHIFT DEATH.

Same with Dorcas :Peter went with them, and when he arrived he was taken upstairs to the room. All the widows stood around him, crying and showing him the robes and other clothing that Dorcas had made while she was still with them.(Act 9:39). This is people testifying to good Acts of good Heart of Dorcas. Peter was so overwhelmed by the influx of testimonies that he would not waste time praying for her to wake up. Dorcas,like Hezekiah won more lifetime as a result of good Heart of service towards God and men.

DO YOU WANT TO SERVE OR YOU ONLY WANT THE TO BE SERVED? DON'T BE SELFISH!!!

OF TRUTH, GOOD HEART WHICH IS CULTIVATED THROUGH THE MIND OF CHRIST ATTRACT THE MERCY OF GOD IN THE DAYS THAT ALL HOPE IS GONE!!!😭😭😭😭


THEREFORE,IF YOU HAVE SOMEONE AROUND YOU WHO IS LIKE MY FRIEND,PRAY FOR HIM AND JUDGE NOT. WHY? IT'S POSSIBLE YOU ARE IN SUCH SHOES THIS VERY MORROW. DON'T FORGET THE RACE IS MARATHON.THE ACTUAL TIME WE ARE FIGHTING AND WINNING OUR OWN BATTLES IS THE VERY TIME WE THINK WE ARE ONLY INTERCEDING FOR OTHERS. THERE ARE VICTORIES WE CELEBRATED THAT WE MAY NOT KNOW WHEN THE BATTLE WAS ACTUALLY WON.

I know my friend will bounce back stronger and better. God will not forget his labour of love!!!!
