Barau FC's 16-year-old player Saleem scores against Kano Pillars

Sixteen-year-old Saleem Aminu, was in dreamland after scoring against Kano Pillars Fc at Sani Abacha Stadium, Kofar Mata, Kano State on Thursday morning.

Barau Football Club and Kano Pillars played in a Warm-Up Friendly game, with Pillars defeated Maliya boys 3-1 with brace of goals by Mustpha Yuga and Yusuf Abdullahi Tsamage.

Last month, striker Saleem Aminu, aged 16, played his match for Barau FC, becoming the club's youngest ever to score against the Pillars.

Salem's 86th-minute score against Pillars took Maliya Boys to reduce goals by Pillars nets, but the teenager was in dreamland after a morning scored by Sai Masu-Gida.

Saleem Aminu was born on 24 February 2008 in the Sheka area of Kumbotso Local Government, Kano State, Nigeria.

He attended Best Alternative Comprehensive College, where he studied Frimary and Scondery, all in the Scholl located in Sheka.

Saleem Aminu, a former Kore United player, expressed happiness for his teammates, highlighting the potential for the talented youngest Kano players.

"First, I thank God for his victory. What I can say is that I really did I think I'd be 16 years old scoring at Sani Abacha- that's a dream come true for me and anyone.

"I feel in my mind that today I will score goals agains Kano Pillars. Thank God, at the end my dream came true. It is what I have always felt that I scored the goals against the team’

"It's a special one , a special moment, a special day for me. I am sure everybody dreams of scoring at a stadium like Sani Abacha, especially scoring against a big team like Kano Pillars", Saleem said with a beaming smile."

"Also, today was a special day for me, the team, the management, supporters, my families and everyone. This was a beginning for me, Saleem told the BFC Media Officer.

The Kano Pillars will continue their preparations for the Round of 32 fixtures of the President Federations Cup and the commencement of the league after the break.

While the match also preparation for Barau FC, ahead of the Nationwide League One NLO first round play-off in Daura, Katsina State on 27 March 2024 with Clever Warrios.

Madu Muhammad took over the Barau Football Club after leading the team to First round play-off Nationwide League One NLO this year in Daura, Katsina State.

Barau FC under Coach Madu Muhammad will play against Clever Warriors on 27 March 2024 at Daura, Katsina State in the NLO play-off Ticket Matches.

Sports analysis revealed that Coach Madu of Barau FC focus on developing players as individuals, nurturing their skills, character, and resilience both on and off the field.

Madu Muhammad a Bauchi State born, he has a keen grasp on emerging talent with a special interest and deep knowledge of selecting stars from local and state level in the Country.

Madu also monitoring the performance of the Goalkeepers, dependers, midfielders and attackers with hopes to bring players support at anytime.

Added with players development, tactical innovation, work ethic, work rated teams - player, players relations and leader- mentorship.

Despite Madu Muhammad's lead Barau FC as head coach for the first time in history to the Nigeria Amateur League Division Two where the Kano base showcase their efforts and secured the promotional slot to Nigeria Nationwide League One.

Barau FC emerged the winners of the inaugural Nationwide League One Dutse Centre, also the team clinched the winner of the Round-robin Matches.

With this Barau FC will Play against Clever Warriors on 27 March in the first NLO play-off match at Daura, Katsina State.

The Kano Boys made history in Nigeria’s grassroot football by playing the first NLO and ready to win two inaugural tournaments NLO lead by Madu Muhammad as head coach.

Recall that, in a thrilling New Year Mega Lottery NLO 2024, Barau FC placed in Dutse Center, as Barau FC played 8 matches, 7 wins, and 1 lose.

Jabir Hassan Muhammad, a sports analyst who has knowledge of exceptional communication skills, also has the ability to break down complex sports situations.

Barau FC Kano – State team has already announced Jabir Hassan as a technical Consultant for the team that plays in Nationwide League One NLO 2023/2024.

Jabir Hassan was born here in Kano, he is a former football player, also a sports analyst both in radio and television analyst after he graduated from university in Sudan.

Also Jabir Muhammad has completed his Coaching Course with the Federation of Uganda Football Association FUFA some years back.

In the world, famous sports analysts have risen to prominence by demonstrating these qualities, captivating audiences with their rich insights and eloquent delivery.

Barau Football Club Chairman Ibrahim Sh*tu Chanji has named Jabir Hassan Muhammad as Technical Consultant following his competate in a sports career.

Before he joined the Maliya Boy’s as Technical Consultant, Jabir led First Bank FC to finish in 3rd position in the Kano State Bankers Games.

Warm Up Friendly : Barau FC to play Kano Pillars on May 16

Barau Football Club has confirmed that, the team will play Kano Pillars in an exhibition warm Up Friendly match on Thursday May 16 2024.

In a statement Signed by Ahmad Hamisu Gwale, the Media Officer of Barau FC confirmed that the match will be held at Sani Abacha Stadium Kofar Mata, Kano State.

The match will take place at Sani Abacha with the reporting time at 7:30, and a match to kick-off at 8:00am Morning in Kano.

The match will serve as Barau FC preparation ahead of the Nationwide League One NLO first round Play-off in Daura, Katsina State on 27 March 2024.

Also the match will be preparation for Kano Pillars ahead of round 32 in the President Federation Cup with Doma United on 22 May in Bauchi State.

Barau FC, emerged victorious as the Champions of the Dutse Centre, Jigawa State in the New year Mega Lottery Nationwide League One NLO 2023/2024 after winning all three matches in the Round-robin Stage.

Now, Barau FC, advanced to the first NLO Play-off promotion, and Maliya boys will face Clever Warriors, at Daura, Katsina State on May 27, 2024, with hopes of securing the final play-off to place in the prestigious Nigeria National League next season.

NLO: Barau FC Emerges Dutse Centre Winner, pick promotion playoff ticket

Barau Football Club from Kano State, emerged victorious as the Champions of the Dutse Centre, Jigawa State in the New year Mega Lottery Nationwide League One NLO 2023/2024 after winning all three matches in the Round-robin Stage.

In a statement signed by Ahmad Hamisu Gwale, Media Officer of Barau FC on Tuesday, the show included a thrilling finale to the NLO season’s Dutse Centre as Barau FC emerged victorious, securing the sole promotion playoff ticket.

Barau FC defeated ATK FC on Tuesday morning 2-1 in a match held at Dutse Stadium Jigawa State Barau FC emerged at the top of the table with 9 points.

The Nationwide League One NLO tournament showcased the talent and determination of the participants' teams, with Maliya boys standing out throughout the competition.

Earlier, Barau FC won all two matches in the NLO Round-robin match, including winning against Halfa FC 2-1 on day one at Dutse Stadium, followed by against Hausawa United 2-1 at Dutse Sports Complex on Monday.

Technical Adviser Coach of Barau FC Madu Muhammad, praised his players for their outstanding performance, dedication, hard work, and emphasized their commitment to achieving thier goals, especially targeting Nigerian National League NNL promotion.

Barau FC, under the Chairman Alhaji Ibrahim Sh*tu Chanji, provided support and guidance for the players and the entire management did hard work and skil in supporting the players to clinch the ticket promotion.

As the dust settled on the Dutse center of the NLO season, Barau FC secured first place with 9 points, followed closely by Halfa FC, ATK FC and Hausawa United all with 3 points.

Now, Barau FC, advanced to the NLO Play-off promotion, and Maliya boys will face the Clever Warriors, winner of the Kano Centre winner at Daura, Katsina State on May 27, 2024, with hopes of securing a place in the prestigious Nigeria National League next season.

The match between Barau FC and Hausawa United ended as Maliya Boy won the match against their rival, Hausawa United, at Sports Complex Jigawa State on Monday.

Before the match ended, Hausawa United players assaulted the Centre referee and his assistants as they claimed the Barau FC goal scored in 90 minutes.

Sa'ad Tijjani (22), our attacking midfielder, has been confirmed injured in his ankle in today's match against ATK FC.

But, Sa'ad may likely spend a week due to the injury, and he will not be able to participate in the ongoing training in Kano State.
