Lagos IPAC wowed by Hon Adewale Temitope's Exemplary Performance

The Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Lagos State Chapter paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Adewale Temitope Adedeji, OON (JP), member representing Ifako-Ijaiye Constituency 01 at the Lagos State House of Assembly on Monday.

The newly elected Chairman of Lagos IPAC, Mrs Temilola Akinade led the visit which took place at the Constituency Office.

The purpose of the visit was to commend Hon. Adewale Temitope for his significant achievements in transportation, education, infrastructure upgrades, health, welfare, among others, and to solicit a working relationship for the betterment of Lagos State.

Commending Hon. Adewale Temitope, Mrs. Akinade in high spirit echoed "I have been monitoring your activities for some years andtI an more than impressed by what you do. You have greatly up the standard.

"We have been collaborating with APC, and that's one of the reasons we are here. The ruling party is performing well, and we are here to offer our support for peaceful elections and a progressive state.

"I am proud of you, Sir, and would like to work with you."

Also speaking, IPAC Organizing Secretary, Adenipebi Adekunle, expressed his delight that Hon. Adewale Temitope, being a youth, has set standards for good leadership beyond his role as a legislator.

"IPAC has been a strategic body in the state, and we need partners in progress for a greater Lagos where we collaborate with stakeholders. There has been synergy between the state and us. We thank you for welcoming us.

"God has given you leadership skills, and people beyond Ifako-Ijaiye LG know they can count on your intellect for the state and Nigeria's growth at large," he said.

The Legal Adviser, IPAC, Barrister Adewale Bolaji, commended Hon. Adewale Temitope for meeting the team at such short notice.

"You accommodated us at short notice, and we appreciate that. We are on this visit as part of the synergy we are building. Ifako-Ijaiye is the first LG we are visiting."

He added that IPAC would offer constructive criticism and urged him to be open-minded.

Responding, Hon. Adewale Temitope thanked the IPAC team for the visit, especially as Ifako-Ijaiye LG was the first point of call.

"I extend a big thank you and welcome you to our Constituency Office. It's significant that this is our first meeting, and it's happening in Ifako-Ijaiye. Everyone has value, and that's part of why you're here today. This visit has shed new light on the fact that whatever you do, people are watching - the world is watching, so do it very well."

He shed light on his journey since assuming office in 2019, listing some of his achievements.

"It's been a tough journey so far, being young and all. We faced challenges with COVID-19 and ENDSars. My administration is focused on two things - infrastructure, which includes facilitating roads, Ifako-Ijaiye Bus Terminal, Iju Train Station, among others. Over 42 roads have been facilitated within the Local Government. Roads such as Ibari, Fagbohun, Coker, Olorunfemi, Jagunmolu, and most notably, the Abiola Onijemo Bridge, which will be commissioned by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

"The Ifako-Ijaiye mini-stadium is about 80 percent complete, thanks to Mr. Governor, who listened to us, demolished the old structure, and began reconstruction. It should be ready by the middle of the year.

"We have also implemented employment and welfare packages, with over 1,500 people benefiting from health insurance. We will launch the third phase next month, increasing the scheme's coverage to 2,000 people.

"Our educational initiative, the ATA-EI, is also making waves. These are some of our achievements.

"Regarding my role as chairman of the House Committee on Transportation, we have achieved a milestone with the transportation sector reform law, which I spearheaded with the Governor's consent. We have deployed blue buses to gradually replace yellow buses and reduce the influence of agberos."

Responding to the need for criticism, he emphasized the importance of feedback, especially for a politician.

"I hope we can maintain this relationship. Feedback is crucial, and it can be positive or negative; the negative feedback is what helps us improve. Whenever we fall short, please let us know. Let's foster a working relationship where we communicate openly and resolve issues.

"You are welcome to visit anytime you need to. The conference hall is available to you at any time.

"You also have a responsibility to support our President as he continues to work towards a better life for all Nigerians. I urge you to unite other parties to work with the government but also hold them accountable when necessary.

In the hustle and bustle of our daily lives, it is easy to overlook the importance of treating others with kindness and respect. The story of a person trying to cut down a tree, only to seek shelter under its shade when tired, serves as a powerful reminder of the valuable lessons we can learn from our interactions with others.

First and foremost, the lesson of not biting the hand that feeds you is a crucial one. In our quest for personal gain or success, we may inadvertently harm those who have helped us along the way. Just as the person in the story sought to destroy the tree that provided shade, we must be mindful of the consequences of our actions and the impact they may have on those who have supported us.

Furthermore, the story highlights the importance of not being in a hurry to judge or harm others. The person who sought to cut down the tree eventually found solace and rest under its shade. This serves as a reminder that we should not be quick to destroy or harm others, as we may find ourselves in need of their assistance or support in the future.

Additionally, the lesson of never looking down or despising anyone is a powerful one. The person in the story may have initially underestimated the value of the tree, but ultimately found it to be a source of comfort and relief. This serves as a reminder that we should treat others with kindness and respect, regardless of their perceived status or importance.

Moreover, the story emphasizes the importance of thinking before we speak or act. The person in the story may have regretted their initial decision to cut down the tree, but ultimately found themselves in need of its shade. This serves as a reminder that our words and actions can have lasting consequences, and we should consider the impact they may have on others before proceeding.

The story of the person trying to cut down a tree, only to seek shelter under its shade, offers valuable lessons on the importance of treating others with kindness and respect. By remembering the little good that others do for us, showing mercy to those who offend us, and recognizing the value of every individual, we can cultivate a more compassionate and understanding society. As we navigate our interactions with others, let us keep these lessons in mind and strive to treat others with the respect and kindness they deserve.

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the main man. Here what President Buhari said about him.

27/11/2022

IMPORTANT LESSONS TO YORUBA YOUTH

1. In the First Republic Pa Ayo Adebanjo did exactly what he is doing now. He went with Nnamdi Azikiwe until he got his fingers burnt by the treachery of the igbos.

He quickly came back home to Chief Obafemi Awolowo.

He learnt how NCNC was converted into an Igbo party by Nnamdi Azikiwe.

He wasn't the only one. Adeniran Ogunsanya, Adisa Akinloye and others learnt too.

Nnamdi Azikiwe's sole mission at the First Republic Election was to FRUSTRATE AWOLOWO.

2. In the months running into the second republic, Nigerian People's Party [ NPP ] was formed by Alhaji Waziri Ibrahim.

He tried to be a Nationalist having been inspired by Nnamdi Azikiwe.

Before he knew it NPP had turned into an Igbo party and the poor Waziri Ibrahim had to pull out to form the Great Nigerian People's Party [ GNPP ]

Again, Nnamdi Azikiwe was all out to FRUSTRATE AWOLOWO.

He didn't ever stand any chance to win.

3.In 1993, Arthur Nzeribe hurriedly formed his Association For Better Nigeria [ ABN ] for the sole objective of FRUSTRATING MKO ABIOLA.

4. Today, Peter Obi who didn't have a clear direction as at April 2022 suddenly got inspired when Asíwájú Bola Tinubu clinched the APC TICKET.

He moved into LABOUR Party and overnight, the Igbos have taken that party over.

He has same plan and agenda as his Azikiwe and Nzeribe forebears.

It is not to get the Presidency - He knows he won't even get near it.

The sole objective is to FRUSTRATE BOLA TINUBU.

The SOUTH EAST can't explain what their CRITERIA was when they chose Shehu Shagari over Obafemi Awolowo in 1983.

They can't explain to you why they chose Bashir Tofa over Bashorun MKO Abiola in 1993.

They will never be able to explain to you how Olúségun Obasanjo who suddenly came out half-dead from prison after 3years was better or more qualified than the erudite Economists and better prepared and informed Chief Olu Falae in 1999.

Today, the same people tells you that a Peter Obi is better qualified and has greater capacity than Bola Tinubu and you are expected to believe it is altruistic.

And you tell me it's not about ETHNICITY?

You must be joking.

And each time they arise from the East, there are always people who claim to be true-born Yorubas to aid them.

A 94-year old Pa Ayo Adebanjo who can't influence the votes in the polling unit in front of his house is seen talking like he feeds the whole Yoruba race of people.

You people need to THINK.

The good thing this time is that they have Asíwájú Bola Tinubu to contend with. He is well equipped to treat this kind of level of Zombism.

It's a matter of time.

ON ASÍWÁJÚ BOLA TINUBU'S MANDATE WE SHALL STAND.
