A HEALTHY EATING GOAL

A healthy diet and daily exercise will maximize the likelihood of children growing up healthy and strong. Children are still growing and adding bone mass, so balanced diet is very important to their overall health. Provide three nutritious meals a day that include fruits and vegetables. Try to limit fast-food consumption,and find time to cook more at home where you know the source of your food and how your food is prepared. Provide your child with healthy, well portioned snacks, and try to keep them from eating too much at a time

As a rule of the thumb, avoid food and drinks that are high in sugars, fat, or caffeine. Try to provide fruits, vegetables, grains, lean meats, chicken, fish and low - fat diary products as part of a healthy meal when possible. Obesity and being overweight even in children, can significantly increase the risk of heart disease, and other chronic illnesses. Creating an activity lifestyle this year that includes healthy eating and exercise will help your child maintain a healthy weight and protect them from certain illnesses throughout the year.

My personal journey to joy at Christmas!

The real joy of Christmas is when we make the saviour- Jesus christ the focus of the season.

Why do we celebrate Christmas? Celebrating the birth of Jesus christ is more than a Christian holiday or Christian festival. It is more than an occasion to decorate our houses. It is *an opportunity to pause and give thanks to God for the love, hope and joy found in Jesus - our savior and friend.*

Christmas is a time of spiritual reflection of the important foundation of the Christian faith. It's also a celebration. It's when Christians celebrate God's love for the world through the birth of christ child: Jesus. The Bible tells of His birth hundreds of years before fulfilling *prophecies.*

The Christmas story is recorded in Luke2:4-19.

As you pause, read, listen and sing along to this Christmas songs, God will bring joy, love and peace unspeakable to your homes.

Merry Christmas and a great new year in advance, we are crossing over to 2024 in a grand style.

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters whenever you face trials, because you know that the lasting of your faith produce perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete not lacking anything.

May God supply all our needs in this hard times because WE ARE REDEEMED TO FLOURISH IN HARD TIMES. Hallelujah.

Most of us are caught up in a hectic whirlwind of activities which start on Monday morning, end on Sunday night and then begin all over again.

Time slips by as we rush to complete urgent tasks which relate to juggling jobs, running the house chores, chauffering our children, our parents, relatives and spouses to work, school, appointments and commitments, yet we all acknowledge that
spending quality time together is the best way to show each other that we care and that our families are important.
