*Governor Adeleke Launches Pro-Masses 100 Days Programme*

The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has launched a six pronged project to touch the lives of Osun masses in all the local governments areas of the state.

The programes are as follows:

1.Provision of portable water in 332 towns/Villages, one in each of the 332 wards in the State. The implementation has already started in Osogbo, Ifelodun and other local governments of the state.

2. Complete renovation of 30 schools, one per local government, including portable water and the provision of at least 50 computers with internet services in each renovated school.

3. Rehabilitation of 332 primary health care centers, one in each of the 332 wards in the State. Access to Health Care at the grassroot is the main objective.

4. Enrollment of 3000 Osun Citizens in the Health Insurance Scheme, free of Charge.

5. With an eye to address deplorable state of roads in the state, the government of Governor Adeleke has also initiated the rehabilitation of nine major roads, one per federal constituency. This is targeted at reducing the high infrastructure deficit facing the state.

6. To address the yearning of Osun youth population, Governor Adeleke is also implementing an ongoing ICT/tech innovations programme which include the making of first State ICT Policy, first State Innovation Policy, domestication of Nigeria's Startup Act and Goggle Mapping of Osun state.

All the above programmes designed to touch the lives of the masses and the youth are ongoing for full delivery by the time the administration clocks 100 days in office.

Commenting on the progress of work across the six identified areas, Governor Adeleke hinted that the projects were selected on the basis of their direct positive impacts on the masses of the state.

According to the Governor, all local governments that have not submitted their selected location for each of the above projects, are hereby directed immediately to do so. This is to meet the deadlines set for the project implementation.

Governor Adeleke also urged community volunteers working on the Google Mapping Project to accelerate the updating of their areas on Google map to boost local business and connectivity in the state.

"Our administration is working to deliver on our electoral promises. We are targeting projects that touch the lives of the masses. I want the people to feel the impact of governance", Governor Adeleke stated.

An Iwo indigene, Alamu Azeez Adebayo, becomes the first Graduate of the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) to graduate with a first Class at the Department of Political Science in the history of the 47 years old Institution.

Alamu Azeez Adebayo hails from Lakata Compund (Ile Lakata), Iwo, Osun State.

The young man, Alamu Azeez Adebayo, popularly known as ‘Mr. Nigeria' has become the jinx breaker as he graduates with a First Class; the first of its kind 40 years after the establishment of the Department of Political Science, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ilorin.

Governor Ademola Adeleke Issues Six Executive Orders Covering Chieftaincy Matters, Appointments, Others

Executive Governor of Osun state, Senator Ademola Adeleke has issued six executive orders to take immediate effect.

The Orders signed this morning by His Excellency covered chieftaincy matters, appointments issues, setting up of review panel, staff audit and employment matters.

Each of the Executive orders are reproduced below:

1. Executive Order on State bank accounts

"I hereby order the immediate freezing of all Government accounts in all banks and other financial institutions"

2. Executive Order Number 2 on Staff Audit

"All Heads of Ministries, Departments, Agencies, Commissions, Boards and Parastatals of Osun State Government are hereby directed to carry out an immediate staff audit of the actual number of government workers in their various Ministries, Departments, Agencies, Commissions, Boards and Parastatals, as at 17th July, 2022, and should file a report to the Office of the Chief of Staff to the Governor stating the full details and position/designation of each of the staff on the forwarded list , within 7 working days from the date of this Executive order using the attached Oath of Fidelity Template"

3. Executive Order number 3 on Employment

"All employments in the service of Osun State Government made in any capacity into any capacity in all the Ministries, Departments, Agencies, Commissions , Boards and Parastatals after July 17th, 2022 be and are hereby nullified.

4. Executive Order 4 on Appointments

"All appointments in the service of Osun State Government made in any capacity into any capacity in all the Ministries, Departments, Agencies, Commissions, Boards and Parastatals after 17th July, 2022 be and are hereby reversed.

5. Executive Order number five on Chieftaincy Affairs and appointment of traditional rulers

"All appointments of traditional rulers made by Osun State Government after 17th July, 2022, are hereby ordered to be reviewed to ensure there was strict compliance with due process of chieftaincy declarations and native law, custom and tradition relating to such chieftaincies. In the case of Ikirun, Iree and Igbajo, to avoid further breakdown of law and order, the appointments of Akinrun of Ikinrun, Aree of Ire and Owa of Igbajo are hereby put on hold pending review. Subsequently, the palaces of Akinrun of Ikirun, Aree of Iree and Owa of Igbajo should remain unoccupied, while security agencies are hereby ordered to take charge.

6. Executive Order number 6 Setting up Review Committees

"In line with the executive orders Nos 2, 3, 4 and 5 already issued by me, I hereby order the set-up of the following Review Committees

1. STAFF AUDIT/APPOINTMENTS/PROMOTIONS REVIEW COMMITTEE.

Osun Governor Warns Against Violence at Motor Parks, Direct Union Leaders to Maintain Peace

Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adelekee, has warned against violence among transport workers' unions in the State, directing security agencies to maintain status quo across the motor parks.

All union leaders and their supporters are hereby directed to remain calm and bring any grievances to the State Government for resolution. Security agencies are consequently directly to maintain law and order.

Olubadan Visits Oluwo Tuesday

The Paramount Ruler of Iwoland, HIM Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi,will on Tuesday host the Olubadan of Ibadanland, HIM Oba Lekan Balogun.

The courtesy visit was part of the move by the two monarchs to further cement the kinship between their ancestral lineages.

A statement by Oluwo through his press secretary, Alli Ibraheem, reads "The Paramount Ruler of Iwoland, HIM Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, will host the Olubadan of Ibadanland, HIM Oba Lekan Balogun and his queen, in his Iwo palace on Tuesday, 4th October,2022"
