BREAKING NEWS!
7 State excos of Imo state PDP resign.
Under my watch as the Executive Governor of our dear Imo State, I have nurtured a good relationship between the State Government and labour unions across sectors, which was in a bad shape prior to my assumption of office in January 2020.
For whatever the dispute was between the staff of the Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) and their management, ndi Imo shouldn't be made to suffer the consequences of an industrial action, especially at a time when Nigerians are trying to adjust to the cashless policy and fuel scarcity.
I have spoken with the leadership of Nigeria Labour Congress and her affiliates in the State and no report of a directive for an industrial action and I verified this from the Head of Service, who confirmed workers presence at work and working.
Ndi Imo eagerly anticipates positive proceeds from having their son as the National President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and not otherwise. Be that as it may, let's be rest assured that the Government has waged into the matter and whatever the impasse is, we will resolve it to the interest of the people and all other parties involved.
- Hope Uzodimma.

The Imo State Healthcare sector has received another boost as the Umuokanne General Hospital, is set for commissioning, having been structurally completed and undergoing equipping.
Located at the heart of Ohaji-Egbema LGA of Imo State, the General Hospital is one out of the three of its kind being built by the Imo State Government through the Imo State Oil Producing Area Development Commission (ISOPADEC) across the oil bearing communities.
Speaking to news men over the weekend, the Managing Director of the commission, Chief Charles Orie, assured the people of Ohaji-Egbema that the Hospital will commence rendering of healthcare services in few months to come.
According to Chief Charles Orie, the 3 hospital projects in the 3 Oil Producing Local Government Areas are pure ISOPADEC Projects which should be commissioned by March this year.
He also stated that the people of Ohaji-Egbema LGA has assured him and the Governor to protect the projects that has come to them through the Shared Prosperity Government of Senator Hope Uzodimma.
He expressed gratitude to the visionary leadership of His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, who is wielding the willpower in developing, not just the oil bearing communities, but the State at large.
Chief Chalre Orie therefore, called on ndi Imo to rally round in support of the 3R Government of His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma.

Today, I am excited to announce the signing of a tripartite agreement between the Imo State Government, the Nigerian Navy and a consortium of companies led by Geomarine Services for the Urashi Lake Development which will include the survey and dredging of the Lake to the sea.
It is no longer correct to assume that Imo State is landlocked because this 93km dredging of the lake to the sea will not just offer an improved security coverage along the coastline, it will also create access for commercial navigation and other forms of oil and gas activities boosted.
The harnessing of our available resources and potentials in developing our dear State, remains a critical approach in the actualization of our drive towards repositioning the State for economic growth and stability.
This will usher in the creation of economic zone around the gas-rich region of our dear State for the benefit of all.

FG APPROVES THE DREDGING OF ORASHI RIVER TO ATLANTIC OCEAN
Gov. Hope Uzodimma has again, given Imo people another reason to smile as the Federal Government has approved the dredging Orashi River to the Atlantic Sea which will serve as the first sea port in the South East region.
This new development is coming days after President Muhammadu Buhari visited the State to commission laudable projects embarked upon by the Shared Prosperity Government of Gov. Hope Uzodimma and in what can be best described as the real Uzodimma magic is the approval of a Seaport in Imo State amongst many other Federal Government projects dragged to the State.
When completed, the seaport will complement the economic activities of the other six major seaports in the country which will enable traders from the zone import and receive their goods directly while enjoying a comparative advantage as well as promote and encourage the business spirit of the people of South East.
This will in no measure turn Imo State to the business hub of South East and by extension the country as it will increase the State's internal revenue, siting of industries and create employment opportunities.
It has become obvious that Gov. Hope Uzodimma is meticulously poised towards changing the economic landscape of Imo State and the South East by integrating the zone to the mainstream of national politics which is evident in the numerous projects facilitated by the Federal Government.
Gov. Hope Uzodimma is committed to good governance and people-oriented projects that will better the lives of Ndi Imo.

we are impressed with the recently revamped “Warehouse Junction📍” Owerri, Imo State.
This particular junction was dreadful for motorists and commercial bus drivers for years, with incessant gridlock traffic jams.
Kudos to the APC led government of Governor Uzodimma for bringing a solution to this major issue.
