THE SERVICE IN SELF
Having the understanding that God and self cannot co-exist, any service rendered on the platform of self is not acceptable. It is detestable before the sovereign God.

Regardless of the results, influence and accolades it comes with, it cannot change the way God sees and treat it.

At any point God detects self in a man; He restricts himself for He will not share His glory with any one.

It’s a terrible thing to want to serve God under the influence of self. Serving God under self is same as trying to help God.

Remember Uzzah, with all his sincere heart wanted to help God, because that service was from the arms of self, he paid with his life.

Note: Service through the arms of self attracts death.

For anytime there is a failure in following a detailed plan or procedure from God, it could result in casualty.

What about king Saul, “Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifices, and to hearken than the fat of rams”

Note: Never you try to help God, because that will be the bases of your rejection.

’s work requires doing it according to His leading and instructions.

A service to God under the arms of self is a direct mockery to the sovereignty of God. It is just like insulting the wisdom of God.

God’s servant (Dr. Mrs. Becky Enenche) said “your enquiries and subsequent obedience to the instructions you get from God positions you for honour amongst men”

Just in case you forget, that any service offered under the influence of self will never be accepted and it produces DEATH as its end product.

THE IDENTITY OF SELF
The manifestations of self, most times takes the form of religious and moral looks. Subconsciously, we walk under the influence of self but classify it under spiritual activity. We exhibit tendency that have the nature of a Hydra – simple to see, complex to understand, difficult to hold and problematic when subject to explanation.
- Self is a declaration of independence against the Great Monarch of Zion. (GOD)
- Self is portraying ownership. – In this kingdom, we own nothing. Owners are rebels
- Self is hostile to God
- Self is partial obedience
- Self is a hindrance to the expression of God
At any time you developed and factored a technology of surviving outside God, you are walking in self.

Self tells you God understands while negotiating with sin. What most times we call spiritual is carnality in disguise. When your desires (mind set) continual suggest and drag you towards the desires of self, then sin is still at work in you.

There are much God wants to do with you, but your unbroken nature will definitely betray the process.

God and self can never co-exist.It is a dangerous combination.

Dying to self is the circumcision you need for the glory.

A refiner of a precious stone was once asked how he would know when the product was ready. His response was when he could see his reflection in the product.

Hence when God can no longer find expression in you, when he can no longer find you in His plan and purposes then self has taken over.

The book of Romans 8 vs 6 (AMP) structured it this way; Now, the mind of the flesh (which is sense and reason without the Holy Spirit).
Any ideology void of the Holy Ghost is SELF.

THE JOURNEY OF DEATH
In the chronology of fruit bearing, death is a cadre that must be experienced. In the event of time, death is a process that patterns the ability of fruit bearing.
Desiring to be successful will never bring success your way hence aspiring to impact lives will remain a mirage where dying is not factored among the processes for influence. Fruit bearing is a function of true death.
The degree to which you will/can influence your generation and to herald the plan and purposes of God is dependent on the extent to which you have died to self.
The endorsement of God only comes after dying to self.
Show me a man who is much more alive to self, and I will show the man who can never experience true glory.
That is, refusing to crucify self is a straight way of not experiencing glory. Time and chance will explain in details the disadvantage of your refusal to crucify self. As you journey through life and purpose, your greatest undoing will be that decision of evading the crucifying of self in you.
The manifestation of self has a way of presenting security but it will be at the detriment of your raising.
I may not know all that God wants in a man to be used by Him, but I do know one man God will not commit great kingdom business, that is the man under the influence of self.
Dying is progressive but leaves us with encounters profiting for kingdom advancement. Therefore, ensure that self is crucified with her lusts and desires.
And Jesus speaking in this wise, EXCEPT a corn of wheat falls to the ground and die, it abides alone.
