This is a great film to watch. Since I haven't seen many good Nigerian movies on streaming platforms this year, thank you, Kayode Kasum! I'd rate it a 7.5.

The House of Secrets is currently streaming on Prime Video. It is produced by Niyi Akinmolayan and directed by Dolapo Adigun. Niyi is known for works such as The Wedding Party, Chief Daddy, Day of Destiny, and The Prophetess, among others.

The House of Secrets is a psychological thriller that also doubles as a film noir. The film, which is close to two hours long, stars Najite Dede, Efe Irele, and Shawn Faqua as the lead cast.

The Plot

I enjoyed the plot and how unique the story seemed to be. However, the story fell flat after the first hour, and I wasn't satisfied with its end. Is the film really thrilling? Yes, it is. The uncovering of the story is good, as I kept asking questions like: What is the secret? How did she get to be in that condition? Why is Auntie Sarah being pressured to recall these traumatic events? The film tells the struggle for Auntie Sarah to recall series of traumatic events.

The Characters

The cast of this film consists of veterans and A-list actors, and truth be told, every actor in this film did justice to their characters. I saw Najite Dede for the first time in this film, and she portrayed the pain of a traumatized person vividly.
Verdict

The sound effects in this film are good, and I really like the cinematography of this work. Watching black and white scenes may have always been boring, but this is not the case here. I would rate the film a 7/10.

Nigerian media personality, Uti Nwanchukwu has taken to the micro blogging app, Twitter to tweet about how a good number of people have decides to work on their body. He discusses the trend of body modification as he throws shade at people who engage in it.

Remember, of recent a good number of Nigerian celebrities have secretly gone to undergo surgery to make themselves have a certain body shape while others have been very true to their fans about the process of doing this. Since body modification via surgery is now the new trend, many of their fans have been influenced to follow suit.

The media personality made it clear that many of these people who take time to work on their body do not bother to work on their character. The tweet by the reality TV star turned media personality has caused mixed reactions as many support his view and some disagree.

Peter Okoye Blasts Footballer, Hakimi Says He Should Marry His Mother If He Can't Trust His Wife

Mr. P, a popular Nigerian singer whose real name is Peter Okoye, has commented on the divorce of PSG defender Achraf Hakimi. According to reports, the player's wife, Hiba Abouk, requested more than half of his belongings during the divorce proceedings, but it was later discovered that Hakimi had no possessions as he had transferred everything, including his home, cars, and jewelry, to his mother's name.

In a series of tweets, Okoye questioned why many men were celebrating Hakimi's story and advised against marrying someone if you cannot trust them. He also reminded his followers that their mother was once someone's wife and should be treated with respect.

Okoye wrote that those who are rejoicing should remember that the mother they are talking about was someone's wife before becoming a mother. Tiwa Savage's Management Confirms The Singer Was Almost Kidnapped, Suspects Arrested

Tiwa Savage, a popular Nigerian singer, confirmed that she escaped from a security breach at her residence that was widely reported online as a kidnap attempt.

Falz Gives Shocking Reason He Was Against Tinubu, Sanwo-Olu Winning During Election

Nigerian rapper, Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, has disclosed why he is against the victories of President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and re-elected governor of Lagos state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

According to Falz, the alleged failure of INEC to adhere to the rules and regulations guiding the elections is the basis of his opposition to the victories of Tinubu and Sanwo-Olu.

The rapper, who recently released a track ‘Mr. Yakub’, said this when he appeared as a guest on Arise TV’s entertainment programme titled ‘Music as a political tool’.

Falz said: “The rules and regulations that were supposed to guide these elections were not applied. The INEC chairman himself prior to the election had come out to release his regulations but when the elections were happening, we were seeing these processes that were not transparent and exactly the opposite of what he said it was going to be.

“Of course people are going to raise eyebrows, of course, everyone is going to be like ‘what is going on?’ That was pretty much how it happened. It was clear from all that that they were some fowl play involved.”

Singer Habeeb Okikiola aka Portable is currently being arraigned at the High Court in Ifo, Ogun State.

Portable landed in police custody on Friday, March 31, 2023 after displaying irrational behaviour and insulting Police Officers who were performing their legal duties at his bar.

The Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has said that the controversial singer will face more than six charges in court.
