In a world where the pursuit of Power, Fame and Financial Muscles seem to be the order of the day, it’s pretty easy for us to forget Who We Really Are!

May I submit to You that,

Until you find Yourself, you Can’t Truly Find ANYTHING...

I mean Your True Definition of Happiness.

The second most important discovery of man (after the discovery of His maker) is the Discovery of His Own Self.

I mean, the Purpose for which he was created.

The person we are becoming signifies the essence of our existence on earth.

It signifies what drives every daily actions we take.

I ask You again, Who Are You Becoming?

What are You Chasing?

What is Most important to You?

What Virtues do You hold in High Esteem?

Aside the Money, what can people Say about You?

Beyond the money, what Perception do People have about You?

It’s very easy to forget a man who had money without any notable character than it is to forget a man who despite his wealth, is a man of great virtue.

Because,

Beyond the money, people have other reason(s) to associate with him.

I submit to you that if all you are after is the money, then you are one of those the Holy Book refer to as “most miserable”.

By Who You Are Becoming…

Your Relationships…

Your Transactions…

I am talking about a man or a woman who beyond the WEALTH is a person people are Genuinely Willing to associate with.

Not just for what they will get but MORE IMPORTANTLY, for the person You are, for the virtues you exude and for the lifestyle you model to them.

It’s only at this time that you can find TRUE HAPPINESS;

As you will have around you people who genuinely love you.

In conclusion,

First Secure YOU before the Bag!

It’s easier to maintain Your virtue when you’ve secured You before the bag than trying to put your character in the right perspective after you’ve secured the bag.

So, before the money comes, work on the Person the money is coming to meet.

Legendary keyboardist, Bright Chimezie Nicholas goes home to Glory!

Dede'm, I know you will be playing the keyboard for the angels and all saints over there.

Though we lost you here but heaven has gained you & I'm glad you are with The Father.

Yes! We are consoled knowing that you are with your maker. Even though you spent a few years on earth, it was purposeful and very well spent; You touched thousands of life wherever you went.

You were selfless, sacrificial, peaceful, calm, slow to speak, quick to listen. You have no time to hold grudges. You would rather prefer to hand over whatever it was anyone is dragging with you.

I'm privileged to be called your younger brother & I'm grateful to God for sharing amazing moments with you; from the time I was born, to you nurturing me as an elder brother. Even when dad passed on, you stood tall for the family. With discipline & rod of correction on one hand and with care, love & support on the other... You were that complete as an elder brother; an epitome of a 'Dede'.

I have fond memories of our growing up days; how you will make us laugh and always shoulder your family, even when you have your own pains. You will rather hide your own bruises and help others who have even just one, to take care of theirs.

I still remember how happy you felt on the day you came to show your wife to mom; how the entire family accepted the woman you've chosen to spend the rest of your life with. And that gladdened your heart so much.

What about the day of introduction? You were so happy with the fact that your soon to be wife's family have said yes to your proposal to take their daughter.

Oh! How can I forget the day of your wedding? On that day, you gave the world one of your best smiles. 😊😊😊

The last time we spoke on phone was when a few of the family members had an online prayers. I never knew it would be my last with you. 😭😭😭 I fondly remember what you said after the prayers. I'm glad it was 'prayer time' that was our last.

Though fate didn't allow you to have a child of your own. But, I know you have many sons and daughters everywhere; because you touched many lives. And as the scripture says, '...sons are given'. The Lord gave you many sons. This I'm very sure of! I also know that we will all make you proud because that's one thing that will gladden your heart whenever you look down here to see what's happening.

You'll forever remain my Dede, even in death!

*The journey to Significance*

As a boss that you are today, if any unforseen circumstances should occur to you tomorrow, do you have in your circle people who will run to your aid (not people to run to)?

People that will run to your aid are the ones you once gave a lift when they were stranded.... these are people that you were part of their success stories. Whereas, the ones you run to are just some random persons "we feel they can be of help*.

You have better chances with the ones you raised than with the other random fellows... and that's a life of IMPACT thence SIGNIFICANCE! Your life is only meaningful when it impacts others and that's when you can start talking of being significant.

Live your today with an eye on tomorrow... impact as many as you can, give a lift to as many as you can... Life is full of uncertainties.

Look at , when he had his mom's burial, who were those who came spraying money and offering all kinds of financial support... they are people he raised (or you say, his son's). Another example, sometimes ago it was reported that some guys came together to build a house and buy a car for the man who brought them to Lagos (after the said man experienced a deep).

Now, ask me, where were his friends and top associates? Let me tell you, they were "minding their own business!" The only ones who come to help you mind your business are the ones you once "minded their own businesses"... they are your sure - bet in times of uncertainties

Daily live to give someone a lift... to make an impact in someone's life... that's how "Significance" comes and that's when we "actually start living".

How much has this "Unknown Monster" denied you from achieving?

The difference between a successful person and an unsuccessful person is "That both of them Feel the Fear but they both take different approaches when the fear arises".

The unsuccessful person feels the fear but then steps back to go away as All He Senses is Danger! Danger!! Danger!!!
The Successful person feels fear but He Goes ahead to do it anyways.

Fear is a physical manifestation of your comfort zone.
If you don't feel fear that means you are in your comfort zone.
If you want to walk out of your comfort zone, you have to feel fear and learn how to work & dance with your fears.
